Tanirall ignore all of Flemig’s questions for a moment then sneers at him “I can make them hurt” and mutters to himself. “I hate new adventurers...” He looks Zanznut up and down and takes note of his two shortswords. “You ever use those before?”

"I've had need of them from time to time." Zansnut pulled back his cloak further lifting it slightly. The move revealed a dagger he had hidden on his person, "Though I prefer to be a little more subtle when given the opportunity. He let the cloak fall back into place. "Some players just don't like to lose."
“Maybe we’ll have a shot at this mission. If he’s paying that is. Mercenaries like me normally don’t work for free. I just don’t know why YOU were chosen?” As he looks back at Flemig who’s practically vibrating. “I doubt you’re a threat unless you can cast some kind of magic. The way you shake I don’t think you could control it if you could.”

Khlöe watches party in silent amusement taking note of their varying reaction, however she does regard Klatu and his men with a wary eyes. An employer who required a third party for said employment wasn't rare to her but being chosen for a discretion job in such way as this was.
"My coin stock as been rather low so I'm game... but considering this employers of yours, uhm, need for discretion," she says drawling out word for emphasizes "we won't get you know" she makes an exaggerated throat-slitting motion "if we choose to refuse after being informed of the task?"
"Control? Why of course I have control over my magic! Well, I've never actually cast it at anything other than a practice dummy. Unless you count the incident with my instructor, but they tell me he's going to make a full recovery!"
"So what do you think of Klatu? He seems like a fine, upstanding Gnome to me. I'm not sure about his guards though - they both need a bath! Not at the same time of course. That would be weird. Why is it that humans don't bathe more often? They, in general should bathe more than the average race considering their tendency to smell bad. Not that smelling bad is a bad thing Tanirall! No offense meant!" Flemig's chattering continues on in an incessant buzz....
Allistar comes up from behind and puts both arms around Fleming and Taniral “ I think we are to be very good friends by end of things, yes? However... I don’t believe there is anything wrong with two men bathing. I smelly, you stinky... we both need cleaning. The bath houses in my country are beautiful!” He looks back and forth at his newfound friends while continuing the shoulder hug. He shakes them both a bit. “Aaaah, you guys are great!” With a big smile across his face
Tanirall’s demeanor softens a bit after hearing Flemig can actually use magic. He smells himself after Flemig makes the smell comment and hardens again since he doesn’t particularly notice his own stench. “I smell just fine. Just make sure you cast your magic the right way. And by Bahamut, shut the hell up or go bother the other little person.” Tanirall waves him away towards Zansnut not caring for pleasantries at the moment. “I need to figure out how much we’ll be getting paid for this job then I won’t have to deal with you again.”
Flemig glances at Zansnut and takes a few steps back towards Tanirall, smiling nervously. "I'm not sure about that, he's kind of scary... I'll be quiet! I promise!"
"Bathhouses?" He asks Allistar. "That doesn't sound sanitary! Yuck. Not that I'm adverse to water myself, I love water! But just not while sitting in the middle of a room full of people. I tend to squish easily since nobody can really see me, so I avoid crowds. Now Tanirall, on the other hand, is probably one of the biggest people anywhere he goes! Right Tanirall? I wonder how it must feel to be so tall! Speaking of tall, have any of you ever seen a giant? I thought I saw one once but it was just some people in my village playing a joke on me. They could be so mean sometimes!"...
Flemig glances at Tanirall and, remembering his promise to be quiet, finally shuts up. The silence probably won't last long...
Tanirall almost seems hurt for a moment. “I’m not scary?” He picks up Flemig by the back of his collar almost like a kitten. “Don’t get too comfortable. I’m not the gentle giant you seem to think.” He just drops Flemig and starts looking around. Wasn’t there someone else at the table? We got two annoying flies, a little cheat” Tanirall casts a knowing glance towards Zansnut “and myself. I know I’m not great at math but there were a couple more right?”

Zansnut was eyeing Fleming size. He wondered if he would be able to disguise the gnome as himself convincingly enough. No one would come looking for himself if they thought he was dead. "Come now I'm not so scary, I'm sure your magic will come in handy on the mission." It did amuse him that the gnome thought he was scarier than Tanirall. "I'm not a cheat. Innocent until proven guilty. I just help out people with too much gold and distribute it to more needy hands. That isn't so bad."
“See? He wants to be your friend unlike me. And need is different than greed. I’ve watched you roll all night. I don’t think you’ve had a bad roll yet. That’s some real good luck there. Or maybe those are just some real lucky dice. They do look a little heavy, good for ‘lucky rolls’ and winning games”

The guys got up in such a haste, Maya's initial reaction was to follow until Khlöe piped up. Raising an eyebrow, and nodding in agreement to Khlöe's concern, Maya held her seat at the table to listen to Klatu's response.
Erevan emerges from the inn behind them, pausing to take a deep breath of the fresh air. "Ahhh, that's better." He waves to the others and hurries to catch up. "Apologies, I didn't realise you were all leaving so soon!"
"Sit, my friend," Klatu says with a twinkle in his eyes, "No trouble will start, not here in the Wyrm. And it is much too late to start our journey. Gnut, when is slack water?"
"Tide starts a bit before first light, so slack water should be mid-morning," he replies in a surprisingly soft, heavily accented voice.
Flemig
You do not know Klatu
Khlöe
"Oh, I think you'll find it interesting and rewarding And, I have yet to meet the Elf that didn't understand both the value of discretion and the bond of a promise."
Party
"Now, if you will excuse me a moment, I will see about your tabs and some rooms for the night, on me, of course. And breakfast! Can't have us starting out on an empty stomach."
Klatu rises and heads over to one of the serving girls with Gort in tow. He speaks animatedly with the barmaid, gesturing to the table several times. Finally mollified he returns. Gnut has stood like a statue, neither moving or seeming to be affected by the jostling around him.
"Well, a bit of a problem with rooms. The Inn is full up. But if you don't mind a bit rough, they will turn over one of the private rooms for you to use and bring in some pallets, but Denise is going to throw in a free round of drinks, if your inclined." He glances around the table for any comments.
If not, "Good, good. Now, I see someone I must absolutely speak to! We shall meet tomorrow down at the docks, look for a boat named the Sutherland." With that he heads off to speak with a tall, brunette human woman, with his too guards cutting thru the crowd.
Flemig beams with excitement at the news that the party will be sharing a room. "Oh goody! We can talk all night! Isn't that great Tanirall? We can talk about magic, and swords! And maybe I can see your amulet! It's so pretty. I used to have a pretty amulet, but I lost it. I'm always losing things, blast it! I lost my shoes once. Yup, turned around and they were gone! My ma thinks it was the people from the village playing another trick on me. They are so mean! I hope we don't meet any mean people on our adventure! Do you think we will Tanirall? I'm sure you will be able to deal with them swiftly though, with your big stature and bigger battleaxe, you can just growl at them and they will run away! Hey, isn't there supposed to be food? And beer!? I love beer!" ......
To Kasian: anything notable about the female human Klatu runs off with?
She is very attractive, dressed in leather pants, boots and a loose red blouse. Notably, she is unarmed, except for the hilt of an ornate dagger on her hip. She doesn't seem to be particularly happy to see Klatu, but she doesn't try to leave or avoid him as the take a table out of sight.
Being asked a bunch more questions by Flemig does not appeal to Tanirall but drinks do sound pretty good. He stays for another couple drinks then heads for the room as soon as he can to avoid questions for a few hours at least.

Erevan steps back inside, seemingly content with the reassurances given to Tanirall by Klantu. He takes his seat and visibly relaxes. "I could get used to having my drinks and room paid for! I guess I'll make the most of it!" He grins and raises his tankard to the others.
Khlöe wrinkles her nose at the word promise. At having her tab, eventual breakfast and room payed in advanced, she mutters half in distate half in jest “come into my web said the spider to the fly”
Khlöe sits herself next to Maya, grabbing only one drink to tost with Erevan, not starting much conversation only wishing she had let her tab get a little bigger before this offer.
Normally Zansnut lost a little more to make it look less like cheating. Though in a tavern full of drunks he had gotten a little to greedy and forgot himself. Unfortunately someone had noticed. That someone was Tanirall. "Free boarding, drinks and food can't wait to meet our benefactor." He took what was offered to him and retired for the night.
