Roselina had heard Vrakvroth, agreeing with him that they should take the way Madam Eva told them to in order to get to where they needed to go. They travel for quite a long while as they saw the old gallows with the rope hanging. They got to the fork with the signpost indicating where each of the directions go before they head down the southwest path. She really does not like this slope at all, not one for climbing or anything physical such as this. Luckily they soon got to a stone bridge with gargoyles and nearby is a waterfall spilling into a pool and figured that must be the place. Then Roselina had heard Quilrith, nodding and surprised by how serious he gets before going off. So she would decide to wait patiently with Vrakvroth as well, confused when Ebur starts going onto the bridge. "Hey, get back here! Quilrith told us to stay here while he explores ahead first. It's going to be all your fault if something bad happens to you and we have to save you." she called out to Ebur, sighing and annoyed at him right now. He really needs to listen to what people tell him to do.
Ebur hears Roselina call out, and is confused at her words. What did she mean Quilrith told us to stay here? Ebur didn't hear anything. Why would she save someone whose fate was their own fault? Wouldn't they be receiving what destiny intended? Ebur assumes that Roselina is accustomed to being obeyed, or perhaps she has already become contaminated by the mists and is losing her sanity. Not wanting her to become further aggravated he shuffles back to the others.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
As Ebur steps onto the bridge, Qilrith blends into the shadows, keeping away from the gargoyles. Looking around, the stone bridge is a bit mossy, a little slippery, but with care seems to be pretty structuraly sound and safe to cross, the slopes that lead down to the river below however, are very slippery and probably impossible to climb without rope and climbing gear. The gargoyles don't move at all, even as Qilrith looks around, and Ebur steps onto the bridge.
Staying to the shadows eyes darting everywhere Quilrith whispers to the others: "It seems safe, stay off the slopes or we'll never get you back up here, I'm going to look across the bridge, watch your footing it's a bit slippery"
As Ebur steps back from the bridge Quilrith slips past him, gingerly making his way across to the other side alert for danger, a wary eye on the Gargoyles, and one hand on his Rapier.
The bridge crosses across the river below, as you walk among the mountains. Even here, the forest and fog are inescapable. Ahead, the dirt road you've been following splits in two directions, widening towards the east. There you see patches of cobblestone, suggesting that the eastern branch was once an important thoroughfare that has been long forgotten. The dirt path also continues to the Northwest. A signpost points East to Ravenloft and Northwest to Vallaki.
Roselina was glad as Ebur listened to her and came back over. Then she heard Quilrith tell them that it's safe but to watch their footing since it's a little slippery and to stay off the slopes, nodding back. She had seen Ebur motion for her to proceed first and hearing that he would follow behind so if something bad happens to her, he would alert the others, having paused before saying that. "Thank you" she simply said back with a nod, sighing before she starts going over the bridge carefully along with the others. They got back onto the dirt road before seeing it split again to the east and the northwest, the signpost stating that Ravenloft is to the east and Vallaki is to the northwest. "Should we head to Vallaki then?" Roselina would say to the group
Looking at the sign then looking East Quilrith Shivers, "I think the longer we put off meeting this Strahd Fellow the better! My vote is stick to the plan and head for Vallaki, perhaps we'll meet some Allies there." He Says looking to Roselina.
Quilrith Looks around the Ragtag band of adventurers he has fallen in with, and thinks it's better than the alternative though, and who knows, that Madam Eva said there was a great treasure to be found. Pulling his cloak, tighter around him and snapping out of his inner musings Quilrith Prepares to take the lead again, ready to alert the others of Danger that could at any moment befall them in this forsaken land.
You continue following the road for almost an hour, before it splits off once more, heading to the west and the north. The signpost to the west points to a windmill, with the town of Vallaki further down the northern trail.
Standing at the crossroads Vrak looks up at the sky.
"It may be time to seek a place to camp for the night. I wish we knew how far Vallaki was to seek an inn of some type. West was the way we wanted to go, and it appears Vallaki is north. We could seek shelter in the windmill up ahead."
((Your not sure how far it is to Vallaki from where you currently are, it doesn't say the distance on the sign - and as for the time, looking up at the sky - it's about 3pm at the moment, though the fog makes it gloomy even during the daylight hours at best))
Quilrith's stomach rumbles, as he looks west, and then North.
"Madam Eva did say to head west perhaps we can investigate this Windmill before heading to the Town? I don't think it's too late in the day, a little past lunch time" He says tucking into a field ration.
((OOC: At this point, the mountains are to the south and east, but right now your heading through a clearing in the thick forest, following what could best be described as a dirt road))

Sova, seeing people leave the group. Tries to keep and eye on the surroundings for any trouble.

After Quilrith gives the all clear and leads the way across the bridge, Ebur motions to Roselina to proceed, peering at her from behind the mask.
After you, my lady. I shall follow behind, in case something bad happens to you, and I have to ... alert the others.

Concerned by the slippery ground on the bridge Vrak dismounts and leads his horse across the bridge.
Sova lowers his bow and continues to keep an eye on the surrounding.

Vrak nods to the others.
"Yes, west not east at this time. Let us see what Vallaki has in store for us."
