Gedyr glances at the group heading to the tavern and at Elwin, hesitating and not understanding where to go thinking they were together but now not so clear....
Does anyone have a count who is in and who isn't? Are there two group? Gedyr can join either but maybe it's better to decide now.... It's hard to keep track until we are grouped in a campaign....
We seem to have been left to forge our own groups. But there were 9 characters milling about, and a max of only 6 per group, so I figured if a good number of us wanted to head out right off, we should just do it now.
Gedyr waves to Quodithas, ""Perhaps next time we shall share a glass of Elven wine....but for this time I will head to wild...there are things I am looking for". Gedyr nods to Elwin. "I am Gedyr A DurLhuig, and I am ready now"
(Effectively yes, once players make a group I'll make a thread for them and tell them on there how their journey goes. And once the group is made, I'll make a provisional name until the group decides a name for themselves. There's no rule to switching out members and what not, so feel free to do so.
So far what I'm gathering is the current possible groups as of now,
Bernard
Elwin
Gedyr
Janter
Quodithas
Niossae
It's possible for you all to make a group unless one would like to join the Shadow Hunters as they are a 4 man party right now.
And really the only reason why I'm not progressing the scenario of bandits attacking the carriages is because I need a group focus. Once that is set, I can set the rewards for such a scenario and plan the map accordingly.)
(Quodithas' intent since he wandered into the keep has been to group with the next 5 people to show up after and go after the bandits. That's the list from above - it looks like some folks don't want to go to the inn for a drink first, or further discuss strategy - I didn't read the spoilers so as far as I know, there are going to be 6 folks drinking ale and getting to know each other before they go out tomorrow morning and start looking for bandits...)
(Are Yuno and Kosh staying with their former group?
I was under the impression they were wanting to join up with whoever came in so as to stay active, and by my count we had extra people anyway, so I was eager to get on the road with whoever wanted to jump right into it.
@Iqqi - sorry if I'm misusing the spoilers, I was just trying to keep OOC chatter hidden; feel free to read mine.)

[OoC]: This sounds good to me, though I'm not particularly bothered about the bounty. If the Shadowhunters want to take the bandits, we can get something else. That would probably work better even to avoid intraparty conflict. I just wanna get involved in a quest, been sat in Burle for what feels like forever!

(@calledThird: If Koth is willing to join, then that means we have 5 people who've agreed to head out immediately:
Yuno Koth Elwin Janter Gedyr
That would confirm a third group, I'd think. Feel free to have Koth lead us off if that's your choice.
That would leave:
Bernard Quodithas Niossae
at the tavern; if we can't all group together anyway (due to numbers,) then grouping based on character readiness seems like a fair enough split. I've no doubt that by the time the others are finished in the tavern, there will be enough new players for a fourth party. [That's not a jab, just noting that we seem to be picking up newcomers at quite the rate.])

As far as character readiness, Niossae is ready. I check the forums frequently during weekedays. If we have to roleplay the "Hi, nice to meet you. Need extra hands? Much more safety in numbers..." Then I suppose I have to jump through that hoop still.
(@Mojake - Well, if Koth chooses to go then, after team 3 starts heading out, I'll have Elwin bow out and join the three at the tavern. Two teams of 4 are still within the rules.

Strolling into the fort a half elf man wearing fine clothing, that shows a good bit of wear, takes a look around. Rakishly handsome with a slight smile on his lips he carries three daggers in a belt on his hip and a wand on the other. After looking at the board a bit and getting the lay of the fort he heads to any group of folks who look like they might be setting out to the woods.
Elwin smiled. "That's great to hear!"he said in response to Kosh. He then replied to Gedyr, "Pleased to meetcha! Name's Elwin!" He pivoted as he spoke so as to include Yuno and Kosh in the introduction as well. Finally, he waved Janter over. "Well, looks like we're finally ready to get!"
The warlock nodded at the half-elf. "Thank you for the offer, mate, but we're near-full and about to head off."
He pointed toward the tavern. "There's a few in there itching to get going, and they could use another hand. I'd have gotten them already, but too big a group makes too easy a target, yeah?"
Finally, he turned back to the group. "I suppose we're off then!" he eagerly announced as he headed toward the road to Saltmarsh.
"Stay safe, friend!" he saluted Elorin as they left.
(OOC: Should be Yuno, Kosh, Janter, Gedyr and Elwin in this group. The tavern group should have 4 now: Bernard, Quodithas, Niossae and Elorin.)
"Kosh Halakosh. I am here to hunt the shadows that dwell within and without." He narrows his eyes and examines the Warlock. he seems to come to some conclusion. "Let us begin The Work."
Unless someone asks for a longer respite, Kosh will stride out of the gates and towards the nearest sign of danger, hoping they can find where along the road the bandits camp. He ranges between pulling the group along and staying near the clearly frightened Yuno in a protective stance.
"Thanks for the tip." Turning Elorin strides to the tavern. Entering he first approaches the bar. Catching the bartenders eye "Whiskey. No ice." Once the drink is brought over "I hear I can find a group in here that might be heading out looking for trouble soon." He sets a gold piece down on the bar in front of the bartender.

(Sorry all, I lost track of this thread. Kosh is more than willing to continue travelling with Yuno)
Kosh leans down to continue speaking with Yuno, oblivious to much of the talk around him.
