A well-dressed, though haggard-looking human enters, looking wary and slightly confused. He has a halberd slung across his back, and is dressed in chain-mail.
Timidly, he pipes up, "Is... is this where the Wild Flame Pact meets? I... I've come to offer my services to push back the threat of the deadwood."
Looks around to see if anybody reacts to the newcomers question. Not seeing any immediate reaction he downs his drink and walks over holding his hand out to be shaken. "Not sure about any...Wild Flame Pact?...but I am Elorin. I also came here to enter the woods. That is quite the weapon you have there. Big. Hope you handle it well."
So to my understanding, this group is heading out:
Kosh
Yuno
Janter
Elwin
Gedyr
Tavern:
Bernard
Quodithas
Niossae
Elorin
Bounty Board:
Tren
And if that's right, then yes, we'll head back to the shadow hunters thread for the 1st group. And once the third group is set, I'll give a provisional name and a thread. Along with the merchant bodyguard scenario for the third group.

In a bored tone, a tall figure garbed in voluminous greyish-white hooded robes, and further obscured by a featureless white mask says while looking up at the board. Glancing over at the remainder of the keep, the mask men keeps an eye out for other with an interest in the board.
Tren worked on the ship he has known for many years as his home but after the accident he started longing for a different life for awhile hearing of this place during a nearby port of call he says to his captain as he is leaving
"If I'm not back on time Captain Scally, Don't wait up" taking his pay he heads for adventure Knowing he will miss the Crafty Duck.
he comes back from his thoughts finding himself looking at a crier board wondering if he would survive such an endeavor

I believe you have the groupings right. The third group is ready and set to go.

(The wild flame pact is an agreement, not an association.)
The few travelers there at the tavern/lodge point outside to the board by the keep. They say that the guards there will know more about the dreadwood. The board lists various bounties and rewards for the monsters that inhabit the forest. Along with a few new ones as a squire comes by posting more onto it.
[OoC]: I feel like we're going around in circles, to be honest. Perhaps group 2 should just take a different bounty and get on with it. Orc fangs?
(Sure, I can make a thread right now. All set, the group's name is the Iron Fang. I've added Griff and Elorin to skip the wait for them. And I'll contact Niossae to see if they'd still like to play. If not, then I can add Gregory and Tren to the group.)
"A Kobold thief, and Vine Blight root... Decisions, decisions..."
Gregor had watched Tren approached, but said nothing at first. And even then, it had mostly been to himself, for attention had returned to the board. But he looks over to Tren fully after and puts a hand on his chest.
"Are you hunter as well? Or perhaps looking into things for a friend?"
Although his face is not visible, a "smile" could be felt in his words.

"Well... my brothers call me Griff the Mediocre. I've been trained, though have not yet had a chance to prove myself... figured this might be a chance to prove myself." He looks around nervously... "I... I'll join anyone heading out into the dreadwood that could use an extra hand."
Tren looks to Gregor and says "I suppose, but I dont think I want to tangle with a Jackelwere. What would you do? Are we supposed to capture these alive?"

Niossae is around and ready to head out. (less active on weekends)
Gregor looks the board over one last time at the question.
"Kobolds tend to come in packs, but would be easier to capture and find."
Through a sidelong look, Tren is given a once over.
"But yes. Those marked for capture are for just that. A not so easy thing, but with possible greater rewards. And it may be we stumble on the others regardless. Though if given choice, I would prefer dealing with a kobold than the others as far as capture goes. And for hunting, Vine Blights, Skeletons, and Shadows should be easy enough to deal with."

"It says that this Kobold , has a magic dagger. Perhaps if you have that ability, you can cast something to detect magic then we will know who this Kobold is." He shrugs his shoulders. "I wouldn't know one Kobold from another, I do know they sometimes act as pirates with small boats. Quite easy to sink, and comical really" he favors his side out of the memory of shooting the balista the killing shot not without getting a hand crossbow bolt in his side first "Maybe we should invest in nets for this capture bounty thing, aye?" He also wonders if there is a bounty on kobolts themselves.
”Well that is great. First thing, Griff, you’re not going to mention what your brothers call you to anyone else ok? And by the time you see them again we’ll have a new nickname all figured out. Right? Right. It looks like these two fellows over here are also looking to head out.” The 40 something half elf throws an arm around the humans shoulders and wks over to Bernand and Quodathis. “Hello I’m Elorin and this is Griff. Looks like you are ready to head out. Mind if we join you?”
(Also posted in the Iron Fang thread to move RP over there.)
Ooc: If Tren and Gregor are not part of a group right now, since we're hitting it off may we be part of a new group? A new thread (Finders of the Dread) Not sure what Gregor is but I am sure will need a Cleric, Ranger and wizard perhaps a druid .
Starting at the bounty board, with perhaps a copy and pasted description of the scene perhaps a map of the city.
