Panther Torment swims quickly towards the nearest GNOME ship's aft section and looks up to see if there are windows in the back cabin. If there are, she'll attempt to use her claws to jump and climb up into the window from the back.
Athletics or Acrobatics, same bonus - 5
If she successfully makes it up, she'll try and slink her way in and hide behind something, using her action to change back into her regular form.
Panther Tori is WAY out of her element in the water, and miserably fails at finding a grip to climb up the Gnome Ship's hull.
However, they are all way too busy to notice the Party swimming in the middle of a massive naval battle.
Krampus fleet's turn:
The Goblins on board the Krampus ships unleash a deadly volley of cannonballs, tearing through Santa's Fleet, shattering wood, and causing the Gnome Ship's Mast to collapse down towards the Party. Everyone roll a Swim Check DC 15 or take 20 bludgeoning damage!
Gnome fleet's turn: Santa's gnomish soldiers load big Catapults, shaped like candy canes, and launch a volley of what appears like molten candy.
"For Santa! Fire!"
The molten candy starts burning the Goblins and their ships.
Everyone else may now take their turn, after they roll their Swim Check DC 15 (or take 20 damage)
Using the gloves of swimming and climbing (+5) and the Fishscale Flippers (Gain +20 ft movement in water. Can take the dodge action as a bonus action when fully submerged in water.)
If she succeeds, then she's going to head towards the Gnome Ship to try and help the drowning cat. Dodging to avoid projectiles, as needed, and swimming at a speed of 50ft.
(wtah, ugh! Can she try and dodge the cannonballs?)
Tam with full faith in her new equipment tries to make it to Tori underwater. However, she's having a hard time of it.

Tam fails her Swim Check BY 1😬😱. Does that 14 already include the swim bonus? If yes, she takes 20 bludgeoning damage from the crashing mast
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Toripanth slides back into the briny water and growls her frustration just as the mast comes crashing down. She attempts smoothly flip around and push off the wood of the ship, deeper into the water and further away from it.
"Toripanth" is the only one who manages to dodge the crashing mast, as it hits the water full blast, taking the rest of the Party with it underwater.
Anyone underwater with a passive Perception of 13 or higher notices a City down below. Merfolks and other aquatic beings go about their daily lives, caring not one bit about the raging battle above...
Tam, X and Elwin may now take their turn. The mast is now floating on the side of the ship, still leaning against it.
You may roll a Swim Check DC 13 to move, and then take your action/bonus action.
Elwin managed to avoid serious injury, but not being submerged. He struggled for a bit before remembering... he was supposed to be able to breathe underwater now. However, deciding there was no reason to test the potion until necessary, he instead held his breath for as long as he could as he swam toward the broken mast, and attempted to climb it, up to the ship.
(( Not sure how long the mast is, but if he can swim to it, he'll use the rest of his movement (unimpeded, thanks to his gloves) to climb it for whatever distance he can manage. ))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tam thinks the city is beautiful, as she takes a moment to recover from her injuries. She took a good wallop, even though she tried really hard to avoid the falling mast.
Looking around, she could see Elwin and X were in a similar position, but no Tori in sight, thankfully.
She collects herself and tries again for the Gnome ship.

Seeing the city below as she dives out of the fray, Panhterment makes a mental note to mention it to the others.
Surfacing, she begins swimming towards the gnome ship. She will once again attempt to jump up the back of the ship, and, if the captain's cabin has a window, enter it in stealth. If she sees no window, she'll make for the deck.
Swimming Check- 22 (May I ask what this is for? Don't the gloves and flippers mean freedom of movement under water?)
Athletics - 9check for climbing up into the window, if it exists, the deck, if not (+5) -
Stealth - 19 for ducking behind something either on the deck or in the window -
Upon a successful climb and hide, she'll use her bonus action to shape shift back into Tiefling form and remain hidden to survey the battle from her vantage point.
Alright Team3, I'm back! Thanks for your patience.
To answer Kaddock's question, the gloves of swimming and climbing give you +5 to Athletics/swim checks, and do not cause you to use extra movement when swimming in water (that's the "freedom of movement effect"). HOWEVER, when a Character is swimming through water (or any other liquid), they are still required to roll an Athletics (swim) check as a move action UNLESS they possess an actual Swim Speed, through racial abilities or magic.
Now back to the raging Sea Battle.
All Characters manage to grab on to the mast, and tiptoe their way up the ravaged ship. There is a broken window leading to the Crew's quarters, halfway up the Mast, as well as a giant crack in the Hull left by a cannonball, leading to the Cargo Hold.
On the deck, Gnomes with Santa hats are scrambling around, shouting, panicked, trying their best to enact their captain's orders.
"Reload the Candypults, ye' scum sucking Scallawags! Fire at will! Aim for the big shiny Rock on that tiny Island! If we destroy it, then Santa the Red can pass through the Material Plane! Avast, ye' Salty Dogs, we..."
The captain is suddenly interrupted by a cannonball straight to the chest, crashing through the Helm, and sending him flying off the ship in shrieks of agony. The Krampus Demon Pirates on the Ennemy ship chuckles, as the Gnome Crew starts panicking.
"The Captain is dead! We're doomed!Abandon ship!"
In the distance, behind Ennemy lines, you can see a small Island with a Huge, rune encrusted glowing Crystal, shielded by Krampus' fleet.
"the captain is dead"... Hearing that one phrase and seeing the panic caused X to go upright for just a moment, his systems locking up as his eyes turned a green color for a second before turning back "emergency command mode engaged" he said before going over to where the captain had been shot and picked up the Santa hat that had fallen, equipping it on before turning to the crew "THE CAPTAINS ORDER REMAINS, OPEN Fire"

Tam scrambles up the mast and is astonished to see X taking charge. She thinks he looks adorable in the hat and floatie combo.
Seeing that they are in need of extra hands, she stows her swimming gear and makes for the Candypult. As she makes a go of getting it ready, she yells, "FOR SANTA!" She also makes very rude gestures at the goblins across the way.
No idea what to roll for this. I'm gonna go with Athletics to man-handle the thing and Intelligence to figure it out. Oh boy!
