After deciding to find a place to make camp, the group takes some time to a suitable spot. Within an hours time, they come upon an area with some tightly clustered trees with small clearing on the other side. Enough space to put their tents and draw a fire if they decide to. Over the course of the evening the watch is set up and shifts move through without issues. That is until morning comes. The smell of smoke, burning wood, permeates that air and a thick cloud of smoke rises from the direction of the camp.

perception 19 when we travel back to the goblin camp and survival 16 to find the way back, although i doubt that is neccessary with the fire and my outlander background feature.
Dor mulls it over for a moment, then turns his head to Nadariel,
"I'm ok with just following orders. I think you and Jilrana should lead."
Considering his words, he elaborates,
"Between the two of you there would be a good balance between planning and decisiveness. I believe everyone could potentially lead, but, for now, a general planner and a split second shot caller are what's required which suite the two of you well. "
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Fair enough."Jilrana replies, both proud and surprised by the vote of confidence. "Well, first off, we need to know if that smoke is more than just a campfire. Me and Nadariel will take point again, the rest of you break up camp and we will reconvene at the same point we chose yesterday. Travel down the same route we took last night, so if we need to hurry back we will find you without issue."
She looks over the camp, knowing that the plan was to set up a temporary base here. "If it's just a campfire we will make camp here again tonight, but I have a feeling we might need to stay mobile today, and that means taking everything along."
She then makes her way over to Boofa, giving him a quick wink. "If decisions need to be made without me today, I expect you to speak up, alright?" she says, then makes a gesture to Nadariel. "Alright, let's take a peek. Stay low and out of trouble. Either of us gets seen, we retreat and get to the others."
Jilrana and Nadariel make their way, quietly back to where the goblin camp had been spotted and the source of smoke indicated. As they approached a smell washed over them. They had expected the horrid smell as they had encountered one the day before but this was different. This smelled like charred meat. Like when one cooks something over the fire and then leaves it there until it turns to black ash. This smell hit them like a blow to the face.
Renewing their caution, they continued. Stopping near some trees they peeked their heads around. Near the edge then found smashed and burnt tents and shacks. As they continued further they saw in the middle, a large black pile. Chancing a closer look, they saw that the pile had...arms? Then the realization its. The pile is a mass of bodies. Arms and legs stick out here and there and from various spots a head can be seen. All are charred black and burnt, the smoke slowly rising from their bodies.
Looking about the scene you can see that a battle took place here in the dead of night. Blood streaked across the ground and plants in some areas. Heavy foots steps and lighter clawed foot prints litter the ground. Tents and shacks were smashed, smaller trees hastily cut and stripped for wood for the fire and finally the bodies burnt. Upon further investigation three heavy marks can be found at the edge of the camp. The three marks make a winding path around the trees heading deeper into the woods. The marks are surrounded by deeper claw like gouges. These were deeper than what was seen through out the camp.
Jilrana quietly moves closer to Nadariel, saying, "Let's get the others before we move any closer. They should see this." Without another word she turns to find the rest of the group.
(Assuming Jilrana can find them without issue. If not ignore whatever is below this line)
As they return to the wreckage that was the Goblin camp, Jilrana wordlessly gestures to the others to do their own investigating. Her first impression was that the Goblins had been attacked, but then at a first glance she could not make out if the charred corpses were, in fact, Goblin. The claw marks made her think some type of giant beast had been part of the attack, but a beast would not go through the effort of burning bodies, so she quickly discarded that idea. Unless, of course, some Goblins had survived and had burnt their corpses before fleeing the scene. But that did not explain the three winding trails, nor the smashed tents and shacks.
Realizing she needs more information, she decides to head over to the charred corpses. She was not an expert, but perhaps she could find out some clue as to what had transpired here the past night.

Once the group is together in the destroyed camp, Nadariel starts to search the outskirts for sighns of animal life. Maybe a birds nest, rabbit hole or squirrels nest. (perception 13)
If he finds any traces, he will cast speak with animals as a rituell and carefully approaches the little critter (animal handling 22).
He will ask if the animal saw what happned here last night.
The party is easy to fine and joins up at the wreckage site. A closer inspection of the corpse pile does confirm that those are the goblins from this small camp. A closer look at the claw marks show that they are small and do not look like any animals any of you with hunting experience would have tracked in the past.
Nadariel searches for some animals in the area. He looks low and then high. It takes him a significant amount of time but he does find a nest with some birds a food 50 yards from the direction they came. He casts the spell and then easily climbs the tree to try and talk with them.
"If we feel safe enough to rest, we should."
Dor seems ok with anything as he absently stares at the sky.
"..."
He then reconsiders,
"The first thing we ought to do is establish a night watch rotation. Rest or move, its safe to say that we can't all sleep at the same time."
Jilrana nods, motioning in the direction away from the Goblin camp. "Alright, let's find a place to rest."

Once far enough away, i start to watch out again.

So are Elisha and Nadariel taking watch while us three sleep?
We are looking for a camp side first. A good bit away from the Goblins. As for watch later: 4hours Elisha, 2 hours Nadariel, 2houres Dur+Boofa+Jilrana
