Based on your passive insight of 15 (you can roll if you like), you perceive that while Gundren obviously has a head for business, he is not experienced with adventuring. He appears very excited about the discovery of the location of the Forge of Spells, but seems to be bluffing about his knowledge of the Forge's defenses.

"My good Sir" Tallanvor addresses Sildar rather than Gundren Rockseeker. Sildar seems to be the one to stop Gundren short when he is about to share more information. "We do be traveling companions on this journey. Twould seem that ye know more than ye let on. I'd be a clownfish among silverpike to think ye'd go into these ruins knowing not what awaits ye. And with a group this size, I'd wager there be more than bandits that awaits us on this road. Do ye not think it'd be better for us to be prepared to face what come?"
"Trust ? Maybe not, but his words are somewhat re-assuring. He's right, there's quite a few of us. I'm also quite intrigued by his story about these ancient forge. He's clearly not telling us the whole story but I guess we will find out soon enough".
To Gundren and the whole party:
"So... when do we leave ?"
XiaoLong thinks Tallanvor has a very strong accent or speaks a dialect she's not familiar with. She can't quite put her finger on it.
Sildar replies to Tallanvor, "Honestly my friend, my intentions are to travel as far as Phandelin. A colleague, Iarno Albrek, was sent there a several months ago to assist the town master, but he has not made contact in quite a while. I am going to investigate his disappearance and take his place if necessary. I will admit that I have my doubts about Gundren's story of finding a mythical magical forge after all this time. If it is truly there, then it is vital that we secure it before some less trustworthy individuals come across it."
Gundren laughs "I assure Sildar, it is there. Nundro and Tharden are scouting it out right now. Come visit our camp after we arrive and they will back me up." Turning to answer XiaoLong's question, "Our wagons are to be loaded by noon and I hope to leave shortly after. We can meet in the tavern room of the Boar in the morning before collecting the wagons and departing."

Answered XiaoLong and Tallanvor's questions I hope. Sildar is being honest for those who made insight checks.
Twiglet is slightly in awe of Ilduarana talking to him. His experience of elves is completely different to dwarves, which are common traders, merchants and smiths in the city. Elves are few and far between and always seem magical.
Magic, for Twiglet, is to be distrusted and avoided. You're never quite sure what will happen if you try to turn over a wizards house....but it's never good
Ilduarana finds funny the way Twiglet looks at her in awe!
She imagines it's because she is an wood elf and they are not that common in this lands.... She is so focus in Twiglet that almost didn't hear what Gundred was saying... Too many uncertainties... She looks up... The night has no stars... Bad omen... She smiles to herself.
Sildar sticks his head out of the barn and also looks at the sky to see what is so interesting. "Gundren, looks like there is a downpour coming, we might want to wrap this up before we get drenched."

Tallanvor makes one more attempt to get information out of Gundren Rockseeker rather than Sildar. "Surely there do be more to the story than this. Perhaps Nundro and Tharden have found something by now?"
Grunden smiles "Well, my friend I did receive this letter earlier," he pulls out the letter that Twiglet gave him earlier, "which is from Nundro. I was going to open it later, but I suppose I have nothing to fear now that you are all in on our little secret." He opens the letter and reads it, his face dropping. He looks to be reading it again rapidly before shouting "Sildar, we need to leave right now. Something terrible has happened." Gundren shoves the letter into Sildar's hands and sprints back to the tavern. Sildar also does not look happy at the contents of the letter, "This is not good. I have to go make sure Gundren doesn't do anything dangerous in his panic. Have a look yourself Tallanvor." Sildar hands the letter to Tallanvor, before following Gundren.
The letter reads :
Gundren
Come quickly.
When we went to Barden’s to collect our latest set of supplies, we discovered that Phandlin has fallen under the control of a gang called the Redbrands. They are driving out any outsiders and harassing the townsfolk. Barden told me that less and less supply caravans are arriving into town too. As we left the ruffians attacked us and Tharden was badly wounded defending me. He is in poor condition, but we dare not risk returning to town to seek healing. I am handing this letter to a merchant we met on the way back to the camp in the hopes that it reaches you quickly. I plan to move to a secure location inside the cavern until Tharden has recovered. I hope our remaining supplies will be enough.
Ilduarana observes Gundred intently trying to perceive something else from him.

Humblodt, knowing Gundren slightly better than the others, has already surmised that his assessment of the challenges ahead is drastically optimistic.

Humblodt notices Ilduarana's skyward gaze. He too notes the lack of stars but, though this is clearly an omen, to him its meaning is occulted.
OOC: I.e. it's clouded over!
Twiglet also notices the lack of stars, but in his naivety he puts it down to the fact that they are inside A barn.

Pathetic Fallacy maybe?
If everyone else breaks up for the night, Twiglet finds a small space high up in the barn to sleep
