The Valley is a demiplane world full of parts from the many world of D&D. Adding some homebrew content but I'll try to slowly introduce it. Looking for players to expand it beyond my friends who've played for a 3 years did.
Players: The Game will be on these forums Only Official and UA materials allowed. Start at level 3, roll, reroll 1’s once or standard array stats. Milestone leveling I'll be trying to pick on mix of interesting characters and class comp.

Story:
A man in a ragged thick robe appear from the left corner of your vision, just walking along before noticing you. He comes to a stop and saunter towards you until he’s just a short distance away. He takes his hood off, fully exposing a full white featureless head and bows to you. You notice now everything around beside him is just a silvery moving mass.
“You’re some of the newcomers to the valley, right? There’s so much to do you should do, what do you plan on doing first? Wait, wait, wait….. I’m getting ahead of myself. You probably don’t know what the Valley is. The Valley is…everything and nothing. What is, what could be, what would have been can exist here,” He paused for a moment while keeping his feature head points in your general. His voice seems to be influx and gives you a small headache. He seems to take a moment to himself before speaking again.
“But let’s not give any spoilers. The Valley is waiting, what you do is up to you all but I suggest you hang on to each other. You never know who you can trust. Now get going you guy, chop, chop,” The man waves you off before you’re suddenly pulled away from him by something.

Name: Gotch the Knowing
Race: Goblin
Class: Wizard
Background: Sage
Backstory:
Gotch grew up on the streets, working for whomever was bigger and stronger than him. One day he ran afoul of a local wizard. Instead of turning him into the watch though, the wizard took Gotch in and, surprisingly for both of them, found he actually had an aptitude for learning. Over the years Gotch and the wizard became friends, and Gotch was introduced to some of the more respectable places of knowledge in the realms. They were very hesitant, at first, to let him near the books, but, eventually, they found him as careful with the precious tomes as any of them, so gave him free access.

Name: Tundra
Race: Tiefling
Class: Monk
Background: Criminal/Spy
Backstory: Tundra lived in Sigil for most of her life. She was adopted by a very "spartan" family, with a long tradition of martial artists and swordsman within the Cipher faction. As such, she was dutifully trained and sheltered since her young age. Having no free time, she made a habit of escaping into the night to experience the strange wonders of the City of Doors. In her night time adventures, she gravitated towards street urchins and Sensates, seeing in them the freedom which she yearned for. The Sensates showed her paintings, music, ornaments and a world of culture that she had never seen, and the urchins taught her how to "gain access" to it . One night, as she was heading for her favorite tavern, she had trouble finding the right turn. She felt as though it should be there, but it simply wasn't. In its place was an alley that felt alien to her. A passageway that seemed as though it couldn't be there. Taken by her curiosity, she took some steps and found herself in a land she knew nothing of.

Onyx Breeze the Tabaxi Gloomstalker Ranger
Onyx left his tribe as a very young warrior, he wanted to see new countries, meet new people, explore the world. Basically he got curious and was looking for adventure. Never would he have thought that walking through a door in an old tomb would lead him here, where ever here may be...
Background: Nqobani, or simply Gwazi to his friends and foreigners unfamiliar to the desert accent, is a hunter. He was born a prince-lord to a small but wealthy kingdom on the fringes of the desert. Whilst far away from succession to the throne, Gwazi still has a claim to large swaths of land, a small harem of concubines and several merchant caravans that pay tribute to him directly. For a man that could have grown up lazy and fat, feasting on a life of luxury, Gwazi managed to resist the temptations, instead rising to the challenge of duelling and hunting, both common past-times in the kingdom. He sought out the best martial teachers to teach him to fight with the spear, and he even took to personally accompanying some of the wealthier merchants, acting both as overseer and as military guard.
His fate changed when he met Senefranco. Claiming to be a holy knight from distant lands, Senefranco stood in close connection to his God, and had come to Gwazi's court on a mission of conversion. Intrigued by this pale-skinned but rugged man, Gwazi spent many an evening discussing the intricacies of his faith.
A year passed, and Gwazi had come to call Senefranco a close friend. He had started to join the man in morning prayer, and it was not long until Gwazi was shocked by the arrival of a vision. A bloody spear, a struggle fought far from the borders of his lands, and somehow, he would be in the centre circle of the conflict. He explained the vision to Senefranco, who only smiled in response, and spoke that this lauded the end of his mission here. Gwazi was invited to come along, if he so wished.
Would like at least one pay a day, if there's no post without forewarning, I'll do your turn based on my understanding of the character.
Campaign length is determined by the players. It's mostly open world with threads and hooks players can grab. My friends wentthrough their stories in about three years, played once or twice a month in 3 hours sessions.

Name: Raynor Goodbrew
Race: Hill Dwarf
Class: Lore Bard
Backstory: Raynor descended from a long line of brewers and cooks... maybe some of you can recall the Goodbrew clan. Raynor worked in the kitchen since the day he could stand churning out anything that could be shoved into a gullet. While he cooked and brewed hungry Dwarves would crowd around the door for a chance to listen to him sing and whiff at what he was making. Life was good but as part of Goodbrew tradition he was approaching his 150th birthday and it was time to set out and make a name for himself to bring renown back to the clan.
Travelling from town to town Raynor would work his way into any kitchen that would have him. When difficulties arose Raynor wasn't opposed to using his meat hammer for more than it was intended for by "helping" to smooth over the issue.
Barful Duskfall was a soldier of the Duskfall clan from his early youth and loyally served the king of his home along with his clan. After fighting a protracted war against another dwarf kingdom, Barful became a bit disillusioned seeing that it was a pointless war with many dwarf lives lost that made them vulnerable to their real enemies. He decided to resign his position and set out on his own hoping that wandering and adventuring for a few years will help restore his confidence in his people.
Backstory: Yarric was raised in a temple of Helm by his parents who were devout followers, his mother a cleric and his father a paladin. He would learn of all the gods and be trained by both his parents and with this would combine both of their trainings becoming a Cleric but of the War Domain to reflect the teachings of his father. He would travel the lands helping all those in need and seeking to spread peace and tolerance and ensure that that the innocent were protected. He was on the battlefield fighting a band of bandits and mercenaries that were following a warlord to take a small town over, leading a charge with father across the open field when a glint caught his eye, his footing thrown off by hole in the ground and he fell face face first in a puddle of water, only to awake in a new land, one he had never seen before.
