(EnvyDragon is not in the campaign anymore due to them feeling that they were not active enough. Smallfry will officially leave the party when you get back to town)

(that's too bad, they brought some good humor in to the game. As far as the Mithral half-plate is concerned, I guess no one else wants it? No one has expressed interest in it at least.)

Valentia could wear it. Don't need it for Oswin because he can't then use an infusion on it. Did you want it?

It only increases his armor by 1, but he is in the front. But she also had some damage from battle as well and I do have the parry ability. Because of this, I was offering to others if they desired it, but I don't want to see it just collecting dust, either! :-)

(OOC I will move on under the assumption that Valentia had purchased the Eyes of the Eagle and Mace of Warning)

"Farewell! I should get to work on your requests and narrowing down the best way to get to the skies, then. I may seem like a lot on my plate, but the work crunch is where I thrive!" Nessarian says with a twinkle in his eye.

The group sets out to Kohmstead. The one-hour trek went by without incident and they passed through the gates of the mining town. Not a lot of business is heard from the nearby tavern, the Pick and Tap. But, it's nothing too out-of-the-ordinary as it is the middle of the day. The clanging of the anvil at the forge is heard in the not-too far distance as well as some urban bustle in the market area.

DM Screen:

Among the noise, a metallic clang and a yowling of a cat is heard nearby. Everyone turns to a nearby alley to see Smallfry clutching his right foot and hopping on the other. Knowing he wouldn't get a quiet exit he says, "I've got too many people here who know me too well. I figure I shouldn't bring you down with my reputation. If we meet again, tell me how you did in that dragon!"

He gives one final wave and disappears into the alley.

Smallfry has left the party.

Downtime has started!

"Did I hear ya mention dey 'ave a tavern 'ere?" Jororic asks.

Lia would lead the way to the tavern and inn, planning on having a couple of ales and getting a room.

How long is the downtime going to be?  1 week?

At some point during all of this, Oswin will be looking for a basic set of half-plate armor. What would be involved in making one or more potions of invisibility.(Anyone need a hand with anything?)

(Downtime will be 3 10  1  *can't find where I effed up* screw it ... *rolls REAL d10* 4 days. Just in time for all of Nessarian's commissions to be done as well)

Lia returns to the Pick and Tap for some well-deserved rest and relaxation

Oswin can find half-plate armor at the forge. As for the potion, roll Arcana.

Oswin will sell his scale mail and crossbow and bolts and purchase the half-plate.

While most of the ingredients for a potion of invisibility can be commonly found in any apothecary. The main component is the petals of the glassy orchid. A rare flower that grows on glaciers. In the Kharkan Mountains, he has noticed that only the tallest of the peaks are capped with a glacier. With the nearest he saw being two days into the range.

Valentia will also look for a Half-Plate during the downtime, and possibly some Potions of Healing as a backup if her spells at any point end up not being sufficient.

(I see. Regardless, I was just giving an example. Not exactly a guarantee one is growing there, anyway. Half-plate is pretty pricey, at 750g)

DM screen:

 Valentia also goes with Oswin to also look at half-plate armor. After, that she goes to the trading post for some potions of healing. There is a healthy supply of normal potions for sale 40g, possibly because of the surplus. She also sees a vial of a potion of healing (greater) for 150g.

Jororic enters the Pick and Tap for some drinks.

(Whatever the vial was that cost 150g didn't show up due to "[Tooltip Not Found]", you may have made something wrong with the command, but no need to worry about it, I wouldn't have the money to buy it anyway.)

Valentia takes two potions of healing, seeing that they were cheaper than normal, and would later arrive back to the Pick and Tap, already with plans to head to bed and sleep rather than spend much time at the bar area of the tavern.

Oswin would follow Valentia back to the tavern and head up to bed after a very long day.

If Valentia and Oswin both bought their own half-plate armor, Jororic will see if the mithral half-plate fits him. If it needs alterations, he will ask at the smithy if it can be done. Otherwise, he'll enjoy the downtime lounging, drinking at the Pick and Tap (not to excess, though), and talking with the locals about what's going around in these parts.

Valentia and Oswin browse the forge for half-plate and discover its price. Noting the price for another day, Valentia goes to the trading post and buys a couple restorative potions. They then return to the Pick and Tap.

Meanwhile, Jororic enjoys some ale at the Pick and Tap while chatting with the locals. A few miners are excited about a new mine their foreman is prospecting at a nearby gorge, while some are complaining about their equipment acting like rubber. A traveling bard is in town and performing. Evidently, someone had requested a ballad called the Tragedy of Koganusan.

Lia is spending time in the tavern or in her room. When in her room she is spending time with the black crystal she wears, feeling some connection there getting stronger.

(At level 6 she is multiclassing into warlock, so let me know if I need to do anything, or if anything starts to happen with the crystal as we are nearing level 5 and throughout that level.)

(Is there anything else anyone wants to do in town, or should I just skip?)
