nshrock: Well, you could ask your bard college, they would be very willing to at least sponser you for performance. You could do some work to impress a faction, and be sponsored as a reward. If anything, you could say "I know a guy in the X industry" and see where I go from there. You suppose if you pulled together enough wealth with a large team of adventurers, that would be the same as being sponsored, but who knows how that would go.
"After that fight... I feel more powerful now... That was your doing, right?"Noldeme doesn't leave quite yet. She somehow recognized the power in herself and decides to stop there to take her leather armor off. Once she's done with it, and the armor is back on her bag, she uses Armor of Shadows to cast Mage Armor on herself. (Her AC is now 14 for 8 hours.)
" 'Kay, I'm done. Let's find that thing." There was no anger in her voice, just determination which she hadn't found before on herself. She follows the trail, keeping quiet and attentive to her surroundings.
Noldeme: You keep your pace up the mountain, the boar staying behind, finding a place to lick it's wounds and rest. "No, not exactly, though I can channel some of my power through you, it is reliant on your growth to work properly. If I were to try force it on you unprepared, it would probably kill you. Although, considering your nature...no it is best not to speculate."
As you make your way up the mountain, something isn't right. It has gotten dark much too fast, and there's not enough foliage to block out the light. It seems to be just about twilight now, it is dim light, so visibility isn't too much of an issue. "You're almost there." You didin't spot anything on your way up, luckily.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I can see the place's darker than it should... There's definitely something here..." As she walks and notices the strange fact, Noldeme uses her Fiendish Vigor to cast False Life on herself. ( + 8 Temporary Hit Points that last for one hour.)
And then, she continues her journey. "The darkness doesn't make a difference for me, but it still means there might be someone making this place be the way it is." With Noldeme's darkvision, anything within 60 ft. is clear as the light of day for her, but beyond that, the dimness of the locale is noticeable.
Zacharias's smile falters at the doctor's words. "Something else?" he asks, his eyes not quite meeting the other's. "I mean ... I've heard the stories about the Tower, but ..." The young paladin laughs, placing a hand to the back of his neck. "I'm really just here to help the people. I really shouldn't be entertaining any grand ideas of ... I mean, it's crazy, right?" He looks at Dr. Winter, his gaze searching the man's face. "The Tower?"
"Yes I would be interested in joining the Black Dragons." Leshanna confirms with a nod of her head. "Though I am currently not among your crew yet, so the fifty gold would still be a nice payment for this enterprise." She gives the man a humorless smile. "Once this matter is taken care of we can then discuss further business arrangements, and find out if we are going to work together well enough that we both want to take that next step in our relationship." With that said she will get to her feet. "If you don't have anything else, I will start on this task at once..." She pauses to give the man a chance to add anything.
Zachrias: "There's certainly nothing much else like it, we at Rosebush made it part of our mission to make sure that anyone could visit and attempt to scale it, free of charge. It's a strange feeling, being so close to something, yet still feeling quite far away...I don't blame you for the way you feel. However, my personal opinion, as well as the opinion of Rosebush is that climbing The Tower unprepared is foolhardy. Though there are stories of those climbing and claiming untold power and riches, there are many, many more untold ones of those who have entered and never returned." Dr. Winter seems to have a deep melancoly as he says these words, but he shakes it off. "Sorry, I'm dwelling on past problems, but I'm sure you understand. Sorry if that wasn't the news you were expecting."
Blackport:
Leshanna: "I'm glad you're willing to accept readily, here, take this." He tosses a small pouch near you on the table. "That's a 10% advance, just to be formal. I guess all that's left, just make sure you clean the mud off shoes before you come back! Ho! Ho!"
Greenport- Lush Mountains:
Noldeme: You approach the peak of the mountain, it seems to only get darker, but it is still no problem to see nearby. Up ahead, you spot a humanoid figure sitting down, but they are difficult to make out from this far away.
Leshanna leaves the tavern directly and makes her way through the port city to find one of her many contacts. She is looking for a smuggler contact she knows in the city, who would possibly know more about the swamps than others, due to smuggling contraband through it.
(Using the Urban Bounty Hunter feature... Feature: Ear to the Ground You are in frequent contact with people in the segment of society that your chosen quarries move through. These people might be associated with the criminal underworld, the rough-and-tumble folk of the streets, or members of high society. This connection comes in the form of a contact in any city you visit, a person who provides information about the people and places of the local area.)
Garrok: You're on your toes walking through the streets of blackport, you are expecting a message about a new job soon. As you are walking, you notice somone following you, but by now, you haven't gotten a good look at them. If it's what you hope, than it should be a Courier, but you can never know in this town. What do you do?
Making his third lap around the tavern he frequented, he was almost to get impatient. But he knew he was being followed, but didn't find the right opportunity to find out who without revealing suspicion. Then, an idea pops in...
The half-orc attempts to subtly reaches in an takes a handful of Ball Bearings (bag of 1,000) to make someone behind him fall, to which he will happily assist and manage to gain a good look at the figure following...
Ulrich looks at each person in the room, a slight smile on his face as if to invite them to speak. He then stands up and bows to the Archbishop. "Not a question but my gratitude. Thank you for this opportunity, Archbishop. "
If I'm not too much of an intrusion, I would like to join the campaign with my character, Banshu no Orochi. The character is a LE Dragonborn Fighter (I have an explanation I'll send if you need one) hailing from the Saisei region with the Noble Background. I used Point Buy for their scores, which are as follows: Str 16, Dex 12, Con 12, Int 11, Wis 12, Cha 14. If there's anything else you need or any remarks, I'll be happy to answer.

Then, still trying to not be spotted, she picks one of the rocks from her pouch, obscuring it completely inside her hand and then, she casts Light on it. That rock, she throws in the direction of the creature, not necessarily trying to hit it, just trying to get it close to them without approaching herself, and using the light to discover more about who they are and what they look like.

Blackport:
Garrok: You manage to sneakiliy slip out your bag of ball bearings from beneath you. Dropping them subtley will be a bit more of challenge, you think, but you let him catch up slightly, before inconspicusly reaching down to place them. Luckily, he is moving quickly enough that he loses his footing, and he doesn't see the bearings beneath him 7
He falls flat on his back, "OOF!".
OOC: Loaniss making sure I get your's out of the way first, I missed it last time, I'm typing out the others now.
Pito strokes his chin. “I’m not sure most of the places I know are places you’d want to go, but I do know of at least one reputable place we can go. My college. Be warned, they’re a bit... boisterous.”
Pito leads the way to the local Bardic College of Valor.
Leshanna: You keep an eye out for a local smuggler, one who would be good at frequenting the swamps...you spot a shady looking lizardfolk, who you know as a smuggler who is quite good at moving through rough terrain. If anyone would know something about the goings on there, it should be him. Hopefully, he won't ask for any favors.

Ulrich: "Thank you, Ulrich, I'm glad you decided to come, your talents are much appreciated. You will be very important for this upcoming mission...allow me to divulge...
As you know, the Relgious sector of the North has been very tied up with the trouble's of the "Devil's Eye" gang that has been causing trouble for residents. However, to make matters worse, I'm afraid that now we've heard reports of ODs, that is Outsider Demons, causing activity near homesteads to the east, at Rafon's Run." Archbishop Gottfried suddenly has a large poster in here hand, which she rolls out on the meeting room table, with locations marked to the east of the city. One of the Clerics ask "Shouldn't the Witch-Angels take care of this, that is their domain, is it not?" Zinnia responds "While there are some, most have other duties to attend to, especially regarding the King's attendence at Corvidae's festival. I'm afraid it's up to us." She points to the different points marked on the maps. "I'll need 4 teams of 3, from the twelve of you, to investigate these areas. I know most of you are from seperate domains, but unfortunately, we'll have to get along. This is a somewhat urgent task, so I would like to get moving soon. But are their any questions before I continue?"
Resolve:
Zacharias: "I suppose, if your that intrested, I can give some tips. First of all... " You see him look at you, almost like he is looking through you... "You need to get a bit stronger, any sort of expirence will help, Rosebush has some work to get done, if your intrested. Second, you'll need the right equipment, some sort of magic weapon, actually a few...and third...well, you'll have that in enough time. Oh, and of course, you should make sure you have some way to get out if things get bad, that's the biggest mistake."
Greenport:
Noldeme: You attempt to conceal yourself, but you snap some branches on the ground loudly, giving away your position. You see the person stand up in the distance, he remains quiet, but you throw your stone forward, landing close to his feet. You hear him call out in a deep, rough voice "Is someone there? Your not a devil, that's for sure, none that I've seen would know anything about the magic of light. Please, reveal yourself, I mean no harm."
OOC:
sixtaverns: That's somewhat up to you, most likely as a wood elf, you are from the forests near Corvidae, and thus have heard of them, but don't know the exact details. You know they are important people associated with that castle you can see from the trees. Maybe you've visited it now and again, and just know you aren't supposed to mess around when they're nearby, and are supposed to be treated with respect.
Alethilithos: Sure, you can send me some stuff, anything helps. I look forward to it.
Enkida: See you soon, make sure you choose a city to start in.
Pito and Kita: You begin to walk toward the College of Valor. As you do, another Caretaker approaches the one you were talking to you hear him say "We better move out of here, advertise somewhere else for a bit, they're getting a bit sick of us..." before walking out of earshot.
As you approach the College, which is less of a college campus, and more of a large tent and stage, you hear the sounds of rehersal. Sounds like they might be preparing for something as well, and you hear the sound of a play you have not heard before, as well as some cheerful banter of some audience that has gathered.
OOC:
nshrock: Well, you could ask your bard college, they would be very willing to at least sponser you for performance. You could do some work to impress a faction, and be sponsored as a reward. If anything, you could say "I know a guy in the X industry" and see where I go from there. You suppose if you pulled together enough wealth with a large team of adventurers, that would be the same as being sponsored, but who knows how that would go.
