Jairus looks to the others, after seeing the rise and fall of her chest, but no answer. “Why did she do that? Damn... that all happened so fast. Just a few seconds. I couldn’t steady my hands, I couldn’t do nothin’. He was just barreling at us with that axe, and...” The boy dry heaves again for a bit. “This is what it’s like?”
Jairus tries to pull himself together. “I can maybe help with that. I’m used to trackin’ animals and such, goblin ain’t so different. Hey, she’s gonna be ok, isn’t she?”
All you find are the remnants of a campfire, a half-roasted piece of meat, and 5 stray gold pieces. The area surrounding you seems completely deserted now.

“I’m real glad you’re alright. I mean, not alright, but, y’know, not,” Jairus awkwardly trials off then abruptly repeats “I’m glad you’re alright Kethra. And, thank you.”
He then tries to look for a trail from the fleeing goblin, using his Survival skills.
20 - Survival to find the tracks
“Yeah, you want to track him down and finish this, keep us sleepin’ safe tonight, I got the trail I think.”
(( Scroll up. We found the camp and it was empty except for some cooked meat and 5 gold ))
"I know Kethra could use some rest, and now that the danger has passed would probably be a good time for us to all catch our breath and take a break. Why don't we set up camp for a while?" Tyrael continues to stand protectively over Kethra until she signals she is ready to proceed on her own.

Jairus will instead help in that regard. Rugged outdoor living is familiar to him. He will help with setting up the campfire, offer to go hunt game, or to take a watch while others sleep. He seems overly eager to please, to prove his worth, after freezing up in the battle, and, as he sees it, getting someone else hurt.
“I’ve even got this bear trap I brought with me, he volunteers. “Meant for catching game, but might help if someone tries to creep up on us in the night.”
Aside from that, he joins the group in a long rest.
Tyrael drops to his knees next to Kethra and lays his hand on her forehead. Closing his eyes and whispering, "Kethra, return to us" he heals her for 1 hit point (fallen aasimar healing hands - not sure how to link it).
Despite the wound, Kethra jolts up as soon as she is healed. But seeing that the action had died down, Kethra suddenly remembers she was wounded and clutches herself in pain.
Timidly putting her hood back on, Kethra looks at the Tyrael and Longen who had gathered around her, then the others, her pale eyes glistening from the dying forest light. Suddenly, she bows to the group with her face low to the ground, supported by the one hand not clutching her wound.
"Please--ah---please, forgive me for troubling you," Kethra speaks the traditional commoners' response when inconveniencing nobility.
As the others go about, Kethra will quietly limp to take a seat by the dead campfire to clean her sword.
The sword of Kethra Stormwind, which would have told everyone was forged in a passionate oath to swear vengeance for her fallen master, was now covered in her own blood. Blinking back tears, her warrior pride was wounded deeper than any ogre's axe could ever have. Her thoughts swirled in agony at the amount of dishonor--
“I’m real glad you’re alright. I mean, not alright, but, y’know, not,” Jairus awkwardly trials off then abruptly repeats “I’m glad you’re alright Kethra. And, thank you.”
--only to remember her master's words: "It is the duty of all civilized people to strengthen the bonds of community and the security of civilization." Looking up, Kethra stifles a snort and smiles. Seeing Jairus' face reminded her of when he was standing over his own vomit with Longen's waterskin.
"Shout if you see trouble," she mimics Longen's accent.
(Let me know if it's too long or if I need to fix something that's off.)
After Kethra awakens, after setting up camp with the others but before sleeping, Jairus looks to her, as well as the others gathered. “I mean it, Kethra. You probably saved my life. That would’a killed me, I’m sure of it. Damn, if it ain’t the craziest thing. All the train in’ and drills and target practice, and then ten seconds that seem like the longest of your life, but still totally outta control. Battle ain’t like I imagined it. I’m s’posed to be dodging and takin’ cover, and I stand there like a cow gettin’ tipped just waitin’ to take that hit. I’m supposed to be looking for openings to fire at all their vitals, and I couldn’t have hit an outhouse, way my hands were shakin’.”
He throws a few stones around, as if practicing his aim, and adds, “Does it ever get any better?”
While listening to Jairus talk, Kethra kept herself busy by carving out a thick branch she found with a small blade.
"I don't know," Kethra sighs, "I'm no good too. My master said I should train my mind to assess the threat, strengthen my body to be strong to act, and to sharpen the blade of my soul to sever the mind from the body. To act without needing to think. To fight without feeling pain...ack!"
Not paying attention, Kethra accidentally got her thumb caught on a splinter in the branch, but stops the bleeding by biting her own bleeding thumb.
"I guess we're both klutzes, aren't we?" she gives at Jairus a goofy smile with her thumb still in her mouth.
"Oh no Friend Black-Smith!" Flower exclaims as she pops up closer to Kethra and Jairus than they would have thought possible, startling them both. (gotta get something for that 21 stealth. heehee)
"Flower does not like these goblins. They have hurt Friend Black-Smith."
She paces back and forth like an agitated cat. Suddenly she stops pacing and heads straight for the ogrillon corpse. Once there she pulls her arrow from the body.

"Sure," Lasair replies to Flower with a soft smile. Although the druid tries to look battle harden she's slightly wary the party's seemingly biggest challenge was easily felled in one blow but says nothing. Going to Kethra's side with her gnarled wooden staff she placed a hand on her casting cure wounds at 1 level giving the girl another 9 hit points with a green glowing burst of energy admitting from her hand. "Let's set up a watch schedule," the druid the offers before looking around at the party. She then settles in a spot to help Flower of Ivory practice her new spells.
Flower opens the book to the page containing Hunter's Mark points to it. "This one," and then flips to the pageSpeak with Animals. She hesitates, looks over at Kethra and Jairus, and then flips to the page for Cure Wounds. She jabs her finger down on the page. "And this one."

Tyrael agrees and offers to take the first watch (if during the day) or the watch during the deepest part of night (if in the evening, not sure of the time in game).
