Despite his youthful reaction time in most cases, when faced with actual threat from sentient creatures for the first time, Jairus seems to freeze up, all his training and bravado gone, as he stands trembling and shaking, staring at the advancing monsters.
OOC: He will act normally on Init 6, just some flavor description for the low initiative roll.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Init: 11
Tyrael is near Flower and Lasair, but about 20 feet behind the more stealthy folks.
(( To help speed combat along, Tyrael's plan is to help fight along side the ladies and ensure they aren't ganged up on. On his turn, he'll move up, draw his sword and attack if either are in melee combat, otherwise he'll fire an Eldritch Blast at any opponents with a ranged weapon (his range is 120') and then move up. ))
Eldritch blast: 25 to hit / 7 damage (or) Longsword: 8 to hit / 5 damage
OOC: I will wait until Jairus' initiative actually arrives, as his target selection may be based on which enemies are left, and if any are adjacent to allies, for sneak attack purposes.

Seeing the two goblins charging the party, Longen raises his fist high above his head. Motes of light quickly drift towards his hand, which begins to glow with a blinding intensity. With a shout, Longen slashes his fist forward, a bright flash of light slicing towards the larger of the two goblins.
(Longen casts guiding bolt, with a spell attack role of 9 and a potential damage roll of 16 )
OOC: Sorry, Tuesday is the corporate call day...Ugh.
Lasair sizes up the attackers (focused attack on the 'orge' like creature) with [spell[ice knife[/spell] Attack: 11 Damage: 8; the shard then explodes creating shards of ice 11 of ice damage.

Lasair and Longen both unleash a flurry of magic on the two bandits, but both spells are easily dodged.
(They're both about 30 feet away from the front lines, by the way.)
Mougra (the goblin) will shoot an arrow at Longen, screeching loudly in Goblin.
Attack: 18 Damage: 3
Geeraugh (the larger one) will close into melee with Kethra, assuming she's in the front. He swings his massive axe down with one hand, roaring gutterally.
Attack: 15 Damage: 9
(Oh . . .oh dear. My apologies.)
Geeraugh's axe does a total of 14 slashing damage.
Geeraugh drops Kethra with a single massive blow, roaring his victory to the sky.
(Everyone else is up (including Lasair and Longen again), Kethra death save)

OOC: If anyone engages the target in melee, Jairus will target that enemy to get Sneak Attack added, moving to within 30 feet of the targets, but no closer. Accordingly I will wait for my allies to announce their actions but if any become adjacent to an enemy, Jairus will fire on that enemy. He will use the Hand Crossbow as an Attack Action, for One Attack, and fire a Bonus Action attack with the Hand Crossbow as well, using Crossbow Expert.
Jairus watches his allies movements and the enemies focus closely, ready to snap off shots, hoping one of his allies will distract an enemy so he can take advantage and aim for their vitals.
From the back of the party, a figure with a strange appearance pushes her way through: a white haired human girl, whose hair was tied back with an oversized ribbon, like something you'd see from a rural kid nowhere near a city. But the voice is undeniably Kethra's.
"Jairus, look out!"
There was barely any time to push him out of the way, no time to react.
OOC: Jairus probably should have taken that hit, I am fine with it either way. Just let me know, GM.
OOC: No way! After Jarius being so open to the rest of us so far, Kethra's gonna make sure you live to get past this at least. (If we were playing in person I'd push you too :P)
OOC: Your Barbarian would probably contribute more than my Rogue right now, but I won’t step on the heroic moment of RP! Assuming we survive he will express his gratitude!
OOC: Sorry, Tuesday is the corporate call day...Ugh.
Lasair sizes up the attackers (focused attack on the 'orge' like creature) with ice knife Attack: 11 Damage: 8; the shard then explodes creating shards of ice 11 of ice damage.
OOC: Regardless of the attack hitting the knife explodes dealing 11 damage if they fail DEX save DC13.
Lasair, staying 30ft away, takes out her sling digging into her sack of stones on her belt and aims at the orge loosing a stone Attack: 14 Damage: 3

OOC: I think it is Flower, and then Jairus. He may just not get Sneak Attack if we have no other melee users. I am OK with that, but I'll wait for his turn to come around to confirm if any enemies are engaged with any allies at that time - let me know, DM, those are the targets he would prioritize.

Lasair: 21
Longen: 18
Mougra: 15
Geeraugh: 12
Tyrael: 8

(Actually yeah, Tyrael wanted to move next to Kethra which would put him in melee with the ogrillon. You could get sneak attack on him.)
