Marav's arrow strikes the dragon in the haunches. Roaring, it turns to see that the battle has been decided, and takes wing. The creature's pure white wings spread and it speeds down the gigantic hallway, towards the exit!
The chief's head rolls to the ground, and the amulet he was wearing clatters in the other direction as he body falls. The remaining barbarians retreat, leaving their weapons where they were, yelling something about "wormblod!" before running after the dragon silhouetted against the snowy twilight of the mountains.
Crownsguard, deeming the danger past, will walk over to Ink, “Excuse me Ink. I understand that you are busy at the moment. However, can you Identify this item for me?”

The chief's head rolls to the ground, and the amulet he was wearing clatters in the other direction as he body falls. The remaining barbarians retreat, leaving their weapons where they were, yelling something about "wormblod!" before running after the dragon silhouetted against the snowy twilight of the mountains.
"I'm thankful to see that dragon leave. I was not expecting to see one of those at a giant's temple. Does 'wormblod' mean anything to any of you?" Ink comments as he, too, tries to remember if he's heard the word before (History? 14).
"Also, given the way that the others dropped their weapons when Crownsguard dropped this one's head, he's likely of some importance to their tribe. Ashame we couldn't get more information about why they were here. Regardless, Crownsguard should keep what he can of this person as a trophy. If they come back we could use it as leverage."
Ink then half whispers crypticly, "The head would be the obvious choice, but I've no way to keep it from rotting away."
Crownsguard, deeming the danger past, will walk over to Ink, “Excuse me Ink. I understand that you are busy at the moment. However, can you Identify this item for me?”
"Not a problem, Crownsguard - I'll take a look at it. Give me fifteen to twenty minutes. In the meantime, perhaps everyone could take a look around, maybe light up some of those scones in the wall. We could afford the extra light for now, I imagine," Ink replies.
// Ink doesn't actually have the identify spell in his spellbook, so he'll do a general Arcana check (12) on it and allow himself to become attuned to it if it requires it. Self-experimentation: because why not? //
Ink having already spent considerable time looking at the amulet (// hoping to keep that Arcana check //) feels Crownsguard pull at the chains of it. He looks up at the mechanical knight and let's it go, with some protest.
"If it turns you evil, we're all dead. If it turns me evil, I'm hurt enough you should be able to off me in one swipe. Point being - if you go berserk and kill us all, it's your fault," Ink tells Crownsguard.
Ink grabs a torch and heads to the scones in the wall to light them up.
The amulet is certainly not of barbarian manufacturing, and glows just slightly when put on.
// You can take short rest to identify the amulet’s properties, and then (if it requires attunement) another short rest to attune to it. //
Harshnag helps Ink by offering to lift him up to the ledge where the sconces are; the wall is quite unscalable unless using climbing equipment.
Regardless of method, once Ink is on the level with the sconces, a touch of the torch to a sconce is all that is needed. At the mere touch of the flame to these giant iron sconces, a spectral flame materializes above the apparatus and sheds bright light that carries all the way from the ceiling to the floor of the hallway.
It will take a few minutes to light all ten sconces in the hall, should you wish to do so. It is obvious that both of these second-story ledges extend into further rooms on the same level, should you wish to explore.
To your east, the sconces reveal the entire 40-foot-long flight of steps ascending 20 feet to a landing, where there stands a pair of 30-foot-tall granite doors carved with images of what appear to be giants locked in battle with dragons. The spectral flames from the magical sconces light the doors dramatically.
“There it is,” says Harshnag. “The door to Annam’s Temple.” These is awe in his voice.
Flint holds his hand out: "mind ah get a look at that? Give us an idea what ye got there?" If CG hands over the amulet, Flint will ritual cast identify on it.
Harshnag slowly ascends the giant steps, and places his hands on the 30-foot doors, as if momentarily lost in the illustration carved in relief. The doors are iced shut.
// While Ink is lighting up the room and Flint is casting his ritual spell, what is everyone else doing? //
//thank yous//

Is Crownsguard able to impose disadvantage at that? Throw a hammer? A shield? The head of the chief? Anything?
Unless its toward the dragon, then do more of that.

The thick, silver-chained amulet is magical, and has a blood-red stone set in the center.
Harshnag jumps down from the ledge as the dragon retreats. “I was looking forward to taking another souvenir,” says he, tapping his dragonskull helm.
