Hey All, I thought Vedui and Jormund were having a conversation. I can continue with the guards.
History check for the guards 10
Jormund, the guards don't know anything, unfortunately. You suspect there are more qualified historians in town. There may be records in the town hall, or you could ask around.
No worries.
“So, back down to follow the natural caverns? Use the entrance north of the town square this time?”
"That seems reasonable enough. There's not much I can offer in regards to strategies, though." Ann states as if that's already been pre-established before to this group, somehow.
Life has crept up on me once again, and I left you all high and dry here for quite some time. I was away from my computer over the holidays, and just now got back to this. Apologies!
So you enter the tunnels north of the town square, equipped with oil, and a bit more knowledge of what you are up against. You still see worked stone and roughly hewn walls around you as you descend into the sewer through the removed grating.
How do you go about finding an entrance to the natural caverns, if that is still your intention?
(I'm still looking to continue this if there's still interest, so I'll let it be known my issue and part of the reason I haven't posted. I didn't quite know what sort of challenge we were trying to overcome when we were attempting to find the natural caverns. I assumed we were just going to keep walking through the sewers until any signs of the caverns appeared, but if that was a solution, then there'd be no reason to stop the game to ask. The other half of my reason is that I'm still a bit busy, but I got free time enough to post this.)
Yeah, I was just asking since you selected a new place to enter the sewers, we needed to find the caverns. Currently, there is no exposed portion of the caverns as they had been lined with sewer walls to direct the water flow. You discovered a crack at the previous entrance, but it was not wide enough to enter.
I’m thinking we just go down one of the other entrances and try to find another way to get to natural caverns.
(That is the exact plan we're discussing, but the question we are trying to answer is how? How do we find another way to the natural caverns? My answer was, we just do, we just walk through the sewers and see if any sign of a way to the natural caverns appears. I guess Ann can, like, keep an ear out for any sounds that wouldn't come out from a sewer and had to come from a cave?)

Sounds good to me, was thinking ‘we’d just do’ as well.
No worries.

(I assume we will get some oil flasks before hand...)

Vedui is ready to head down again. He'll take what oil flasks they can gather in case they need to smoke out some rats...
Jormund agrees with this, and he’s happy to be darkvision eyes for Ann if they are avoiding light.
