I have a character that is a College of Spirits bard, and just unlocked the Spirit Session feature at level 6. However, looking thru the spell list available, it does not match up with the parameters outlined in the feature. The feature describes that you can choose a spell from any spell list, but they have to be from either the divination or necromancy schools. And yet, the list is missing several divination and necromancy spells, but also contains a ton of spells that don't fall into either school. So, I had been looking thru the spells in the "Game Rules" section and had chosen to take Fortune's Favor, a divination spell that I do have unlocked due to content sharing. And yet it was not available on the list at all. If the content sharing is why I don't have access to the spell, even tho the character is in the same campaign as the player sharing the content, then that's one thing. But why are there so many spells on the list that shouldn't be there?
TLDR: So the list for the Spirits Session feature is full of spells it is not supposed to have access to, and yet also is missing spells it should have access to.
As far as the content sharing for fortunes favor goes, You need to make sure you have critical role content enabled (and possibly non-core Dnd content) on the character, as well as be making the character within the campaign that the content is being shared to you from. I just made a character and was not having an issue finding the Fortunes Favor within the options available.
As to your other point about having access to all the spells. You are correct. That is, unfortunately, the way it needs to be due to the nature of the ability. The systems in place within Dndbeyond doesn't allow for that specific sorting as of yet and until they make the system for that within the website, they made it able to select from all of the spells. In theory, this is something that will get fixed, but Dndbeyond has a lot of things that are in their ' good enough' that will remain that way for the foreseeable future.
I've moved yours and Conal's response into the Van Richten's support thread - the Spirit Session feature is noted here with the caveat that a user would need to know which spell to select (we recommend using the Spells Listing and filtering by school of magic to make this easier).
Spirit Session. We are currently unable to limit the spell selection to just Divination & Necromancy spells, so it presents all spells as available - please reference the Divination & Necromancy spell listings.
For any spell not appearing, as Conal mentioned, having the correct content toggles (Enabling Content Categories for your Character Sheet) and making sure if accessing via content sharing that the character is connected to the campaign where the content is being shared from is important.
I see nothing not just spells no subclass or race not a thing
Make sure your Account Entitlements are in sync, and while there, check whether you might've gotten the compendium-only version of Ravenloft, which doesn't give access to Character Builder stuff.

Did you buy the whole book with the digital toolsets or did you buy the compendium? The difference is the compendium is 19.99 while the digital tools cost 29.99. You won't be able to make anything on dndbeyond without the digital tools. I would also make sure that you have your entitlements in sync which you can do by clinking My Profile->My accounts->Marketplace or by clicking here.
I can't see any of the richten's guide at all when making a character even though I have the book
When you say you have the book - do you mean you have purchased it, or you have access via content sharing through a campaign? If it is via content sharing, then you can access content from Van Richten's on character sheets that are joined/connected to the campaign where the book is being shared to you.
When are you guys going to fix the Lineages to work with Non-Human characters. The rules are there on how to do it, but you guys continue to set the Lineages for Humans only. It should be easily done with a simple drop down that automatically sets all the Physical and Proficiency aspects of the Race while removing those items that would be lost by picking the Lineage.
IE, for a High Elf
Retain Proficiencies and Languages - Perception, Long Bow, Long Sword, Short Bow, Short Sword, along with extra Language with Elvish and Common language knowledge
Remove Trance, Immunity to Sleep, Advantage on Charm, and Cantrip
We don't currently have a way to model supernatural gifts, charms, blessings & boons.
We understand that Dark Gifts are an important part of the Domains of Dread and that our community is keen to be able to use them on their D&D Beyond characters.
We fully plan to support these (this year) with the Features System, but unfortunately this will not be in place for the launch of this sourcebook.
It's disappointing that this is taking so long, along with Epic Boons and similar special bonuses; while I get that they're not actually feats, they're fully implementable using the feat system, so it really shouldn't be hard to just add a "type" option to feats so they can be displayed separately, i.e- Boons/Gifts won't show in Ability Score Increases, but would appear under new Epic Boons/Dark Gifts tab under Manage Feats?
Since I knew my DM might need one or more of them in one of my current campaigns I've fully implemented these as feats and they work just fine; can't publicly share them though as they're just a straight copy of official content.

I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
They have been talking about those actually. They are working on revamping the entire DndBeyond system to allow for things like Epic Boon/Dark Gifts to be added without being super complicated. It's looking like it will make a lot of things easier. Dark Gifts are the thing that they are testing the new system with so we should have them soon.

My understanding from the last couple of times Patrick has been on the Dev Update talking about the Generic Feature System is that Epic Boons from the DMG are the test case/first thing, although Dark Gifts are expected to be one of items next on the list when/if the Epic Books experiment works.

If it's easy enough for a player to do it, they should have them made for people who own the book.
