Tasha's expands the wizard spell list, but I can only opt in with wizards.
Can you also add that option to subclasses that have access to the wizard spell list like the Arcane Trickster or the Eldritch Knight?
That is not how the rules presented work. The OCF (Optional Class Feature) adds spells to the spell list of a wizard character. The book does not expand the standard wizard spell list, that Arcane Tricksters and Eldritch Knights get access to.
If you wish to grant spells to characters that are not standard in the rules, you may do so as homebrew and the homebrew tools on the D&D Beyond site also allow you to do this.
For ranger fighting styles, i can see the OCF options, but like i don't see the checkbox in the OCF manager, i know that there is no way to put the OCF fighting styles behind the checkbox yet, but still there should be a checkbox that doesn't do anything, if only to guide newer players(all the other classes had it)
I am trying to do a ranger with the alternative canny ability I turn on the option but still do not see canny as a option. Am I missing something? Hope everyone has a good day.
So am I wrong for rather just having a race option in the character builder for the Custom Lineage instead of having to use the homebrew tool? Because I would much rather just have it be a race than to have to use the homebrew tool.
Public Mod Note
(Stormknight):
We're implementing a simple way of doing this, so you don't have to use the homebrew tools. 😊
I like that the number of infusions is now calculated and are now "greyed out" when not possible to infuse extra ones...
*BUT* there's a bug.
On my character, one too many infusion was added before the change. I removed it. Then removed *all* of my infusions. Now it says I have reached the maximum number of infusions ("Currently at infusion limit", with Override button), even though no items have been infused.
i am not able to make a rune knight everything is properly sync but when I choose a fighter and I set it at level 3 i can choose the other subclasses except for rune knight and yes I do own tashas cauldron please fix this
Correct but I cannot use a spellslot to cast it as stated in the feat: You can also cast these spells using spell slots you have of the appropriate level.

I have access to Tasha's via sharing (the DM of one of my campaigns is sharing it with us).
I play a bard on another campaign, but I don't have access to the bard's expanded spell list. Is this working as intended?
Note: I already activated the "Optional content" in settings.
Thanks for your answer!
Shared content is only available for characters in the campaign where content is being shared. So since your bard is in another campaign, presumably without content sharing turned on (or with it turned on, but no one owns Tasha's there), this is working as expected.
I am trying to do a ranger with the alternative canny ability I turn on the option but still do not see canny as a option. Am I missing something? Hope everyone has a good day.
Just to be clear, the ability you need to take is "Deft Explorer". "Canny" is the ability that "Deft Explorer" will give you at 1st level (and it will give you "Roving" at 6th and "Tireless" at 10th.)
I was "Currently at infusion limit" despite having my extra two active being a level 10 Armorer. It wants me to have four when at my Level I have 4+2. Its easy enough to get round with the overide but If I change any from now on I always have to overide to get my six.
At 9th level when an Artificer Armorer gains Armor Modifications, it says that armor now counts as separate pieces (chest piece, boots, helm, weapon). Are each of these pieces considered armor for infusions that specifically affect armor? For instance, can the "Resistant Armor" or "Enhanced Defense" infusions be cast on the boots, or only on the chest piece?
It needs some form of errata but ANY "Suit of Armor" infusion goes on the chestpiece. You cant put enhanced defense on the gauntlets, boots of helmet and visa versa, Like Radiant weapon slapped on helmet. Or Replicate Weapon : Winged Boots on the Gauntlets! Its also so you dont stack the strongest armor infusions!
That's kinda what I thought. Just to clarify, though, the situation I was thinking of was using "Enhanced Defense" on a helmet and "Resistant Armor" on the armor/chest piece. Since both of these actually apply to armor and not weapons, I want to make sure this would still fall under the errata you are noting.
Yeah you cant have Both Enhanced Defence and Resistant on two pieces of ArcaneArmor
You can however have Enhanced Defense on a Shield and Resistant Armor on Armor (chestpiece) But they dont stack, probably for balance!
Do I have to buy the whole Tasha compendium to get the new class options for ranger :( purchased the swarmkeeper subclass and got squat (besides the subclass itself). The toggles for optional class etc. content are active as shown in OP of this thread.

Unforunately, yes, to get the optional character and/or origin features you have to purchase the entire book.

ah dang it :( thanks very much, at least now I know instead of having to gamble with spending 20$!

When you're on the class page, did you go into optional features and turn Canny on?

Did you get this resolved? Because I am experiencing the same issue, where it says "currently at infusion limit" when I have nothing infused.
