Teaser for the first of three giant themed subclasses I’ll be releasing on DM’s Guild on July 31st in time for WotC’s prerelease drop of Bigby’s Glory of the Giants!
And now that Bigby's has officially dropped, here's a reminder that there's even more Giant-themed content available from me on DM's Guild, previews now open!!
Sposta’s new giant subclasses are truly worthy of publication in an official book. These are what I wanted to find in Bigby’s, which, while it’s an amazing book, is lacking in content like this!
The bundle is absolutely worth it to get the fabulous magic items Sposta made. They are mechanically intriguing and fit right in with Bigby’s, and they even have nice flavor text and lore to immerse you in the game. I’ve already integrated some of them into the game I’m planning around Bigby’s, and I’ll be permitting the subclasses as well, something I don’t normally do (I only use homebrew that I design or that comes from a publisher I trust. Well, Sposta is a homebrewer I trust!).
The Giant Slayer is intriguing, and it is a nice take on a unique-to-one-race subclass, which I haven’t seen from any creators in a long time. Its abilities are appropriately named and made me really feel like the class was thought out very well (I must admit that I’m biased toward this one because I love rangers…).
The Giantheart is already one of my favorite unofficial subclasses for sorcerers, not only because of how well it is themed and designed, but because it introduces some very unique mechanics that I haven’t seen before (I’d like to see more of them though).
Finally, the Way of the Giant monk is a spectacular addition to an underperforming class. I don’t particularly enjoy playing monks, mostly because I feel like they are derivative of other classes and magic items (mechanically) and they really don’t have a ton going for them in the “actually powerful abilities” department. Yet, strangely, I have the desire to play a Way of the Giant monk in the next one-shot I play…
Thank you for your wonderful review Amnon_Balderk! I appreciate it, really I do. Nothing pleases me more as a designer than hearing or reading how much someone wants to play my stuff , or is already using them. And seeing that I’m a “trusted” designer is like cherries and sprinkles on top. Thank you. 🙏
Don’t forget to look for our bundle of giant themed subclasses that will be dropping on July 31st!!!

I had so much fun making those HeroForge homages to my friend Jeff Marston’s art that I decided to do more of them. Here’s one for the very first subclass we published together (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/dungeon-masters-guild/165199-iamspostas-dms-guild-publications?comment=2):
