If they see them as brothers, I would keep the Gith nomenclature and have them as kind of a third tribe. Githyanki, Githzerai, and... Githxoro?
I'm not sure of the etymology of -yanki and -zerai, but presumably they mean something, and a third suffix could similarly reflect something about this new group.

The -zerai is probably from Zerthimon, the leader of the rebellion against Gith. So maybe Gith-(abbreviated creator's name)?*

Thankyou all I really didn’t expect this level of detail, I am working through this list, have parked soulforged and am using inspiration from everyone’s ideas to come up with something :)
I have a homebrew world where warforged are a thing but by different lore. I simply call them automatons, which if you don't know is kinda an archaic word for robot. It's simple and works well
With so many good prospects, you can also have different cultures use different names for Constructs whether of githyanki origin or not.
Right now this one character is the only creature of his type seen anywhere. He believes he is a one off, and much of the world does as well. There are “reasons” for this :)
IamSposta and Vince_Snetterton both made me laugh. Bob The Luggage is perfect. My name is Bob. Bob, The Luggage Bob, of Her Majesty's Secret Service.
On a more serious note, Soulforged are what Moradin The Soulforger creates. Dwarves. Works for me, and I think there was a Dwarf mentioned, but wouldn't Moradin find it a little presumptuous?

It is dwarfs who found him buried deep under a mountain. Where he fell clearing an illithid nest

On the fly i would suggest Forgeborn (my favourite). Mechanons, Animata, Gearsouls or Awakened.

Luggage.
I like the forged or awakened. I could play with created or shaped as well.
