I never hear anyone talk about this module which is weird for an official Wotc product. And I'll be honest I didn't even know there was this big of an adventure in that book.
How many of you have run it? And if you did, what did you think? How many people didn't even know this was a thing?
I've run it for my group, going through the whole module from 1st level. It was a lot of fun. Also with Phandalin as a major location, I was able to grab some quests out of Lost Mine of Phandelver to flesh out some of details of the town not mentioned in the AI book.
The artifact and components can be a bit overpowered, so be wary of player abuse should they get their hands on the parts that give access to spells beyond their levels. All in all though, it was a lot of fun to run, and very easy to slot in extra quests and content should you want to. Like a quest from another book, just have a job for the players to come in from AI head office.
I have played through some of it, but I think the DM deviated from the module in parts. I thought it was fun. AI can be a bit silly, so I wouldn't recommend it for a group that likes really serious, gritty games.

I haven't run it, but having looked at it, I'm very tempted to have this replace the first part of the Infernal Machine Rebuild module.
That would probably work pretty well, I might consider doing that to continue the game after the module is finished.
