I'm looking for adventure group names for my homebrew. Hoping this would give the game a more organic feel since I'm asking DMs from around the world. If possible include what tier they are in also.
PC - Ethel - Human - Lvl 4 Necromancer - Undying Dragons * Serge Marshblade - Human - Lvl 5 Eldritch Knight - Hoard of the Dragon Queen
DM -(Homebrew) Heroes of Bardstown *Red Dead Annihilation: ToA *Where the Cold Winds Blow : DoIP * Covetous, Dragonish Thoughts: HotDQ * Red Wine, Black Rose: CoS * Greyhawk: Tides of War
My group's name currently is The Involuntary Zoo. They keep acquiring new animal companions, and currently they have a sheep with magical steel wool (giving her an AC of 18) and an elderly goat the monk picked up for wyvern-bait and grew attached to, in addition to the artificer's pangolin-shaped steel defender.
The Traveling Band (was a Bard centered "act" that adventured on the side) now The Travelling Band of Dragon Archaeologists (because Tiamat broke the world they were touring, as well as most of the cosmology and with most parties with more appropriate capability now dead, this crew's been tasked with figuring out wtf happened).
Whispering Leaves (a sort of Emerald Enclave adjacent in purpose group, specifically tasked with planar threat monitoring)
Dream Roamers (some of the characters were 3rd party races made of dreamstuff, the others were gothlines.
Literally had an NPC ask my party every other session "So what do you call yourselves?" and the answer was usually "Player X and his b*tches... nah we'll come up with something later"
There's an in-game newspaper in our campaign and I'd used 'Giant Slayers' as a placeholder and it sort of ended up sticking. I did try to make it "The Pie Saviours" once after they saved a bake off from a giant attack, but they were adamant about that not being their name.
Officially Sanctioned Heroes In Training (OSHIT): Cause that's what the enemies said when they saw us
Invictus: only serious one we ever had lol. It means invincible in "Draconic" (latin)
The Heroes Of The Story (THOTS): Goofyass players
The Eels: Literally meant NOTHING, at the beginning of the campaign around level 3 or 4 or so, after just beating a pirate crew and watching them flee, our artificer yelled "That's what you get for messing with The Eels!" and it just kinda stuck.

In an old 4E campaign, they were known as “The Order of the Steel Fang”.

My adventuring parties rarely have names, but there have been two exceptions:
1) Muckland Nine-Nine (a spoof of Brooklyn Nine-Nine; level 7 characters)
2) The Hooded "Heroes" (the quotation marks are very important; we're level 5)
The Traveling Band (was a Bard centered "act" that adventured on the side) now The Travelling Band of Dragon Archaeologists (because Tiamat broke the world they were touring, as well as most of the cosmology and with most parties with more appropriate capability now dead, this crew's been tasked with figuring out wtf happened).

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.

My group that plays every Monday night is called the Monday Knights. It's set in Faerun so they keep getting asked what a Monday is.
One of my PbP groups call themselves the Van Gogh Squad, as their first quest saw them collecting orc ears to prove their kills.
Literally had an NPC ask my party every other session "So what do you call yourselves?" and the answer was usually "Player X and his b*tches... nah we'll come up with something later"

Another raiding slavers in Q'barra chose the name the Honest Rebels (tier 3)
Others in previous campaigns include:
