I am trying to find a place to create homebrew classes (really, I just want to create the Artificer, Mystic, and potentially a special cleric domain). I don't see any sort of option to do this. I haven't found any info about it searching on the forum either, but I may just be a bad searcher...
Homebrew Subclasses will be coming soon. Full homebrew of classes however is not something that is on the road map (so Artificer and Mystic, etc.). Info has been posted in a number of (rather large) feedback threads. There is also the monthly developer stream this Friday which Badeye will provide more info on upcoming additions.

So is it safe to infer from that statement that the Artificer and Mystic won't be coming to DDB unless either A) they get a revised UA release or B) are published? Because if so, disappointing.
I believe it will only be if they are released in a published WotC book. Homebrew classes have far too many fiddly bits to be an easy thing to implement, whereas subclasses is a bit easier.
But you are not without hope, from the amount of interest in both of those two classes I would not be shocked to see them released within the next two official books. I would not be surprised to see an Eberron book soon with a potential for both those classes to be presented. Hold out hope, and remember, until then you can always make your character the old fashioned pen and paper way.

Which basically means Ill never seriously use D&D beyond. I'm fearful WotC is going the route of shoehorning every concept into a background or a subclass, and I disagree with that approach, so I want to be able to make my own classes.

No, my statement there was refering to the Ops comment about wanting to homebrew full classes like the Artificer and Mystic. It's been stated numerous times that homebrew of full classes won't be made available to users, only subclasses will.
Badeye has also stated that the team will look at community popularity on full homebrew classes and there may be times where the D&D Beyond team will add one (as an example the Blood Hunter for Critical Role).
My response is in reply to the original poster to answer their question.
I dunno why the option for homebrew everything else is there but homebrew classes is not on the horizon at all...I'd be happy to transliterate the classes for my players, or even DDB as a whole, and I've written quite a few other alternate classes.
Especially when we have a critical role class, like I guarantee these UA classes have been tested more rigorously than Matt Mercer's. Not knocking him at all, but like, UA isn't openly tested but it IS built and at least given a preliminary vetting by the game designers themselves.

The ability to home-brew classes in the D&D Beyond tool-set has nothing at all to do with how rigorously tested a class might or might not be. The order of inclusion for other classes putting a Critical Role class before Unearthed Arcana material doesn't have anything to do with testing either - it was entirely a case of having done the work for the Critical Role class already so that D&D Beyond could be used for the new season of the show, and then the guys at Curse saying "Let's make this public, instead of leaving it as a special thing for the one person playing the class in Critical Role."
What it is that keeps home-brew classes off the map for things to allow general users of D&D Beyond to do is the sheer variety of potential elements for a class - unless they artificially limited the class feature structure, or created a list of class features that could be included and anything not on the list was just impossible to add, accounting for all of the variables to a satisfactory degree and having the tool not be prone to users breaking it by doing something the devs didn't already dream up in testing would be a difficult and time consuming task. That puts it below other things that are easier and less time consuming to complete on the priority list.
The reason Artificer and Mystic aren't here isn't down to a lack of faith in their testing. Going forward, all new Unearthed Arcana will be added to the site—including the next versions of the UA classes and Revised Ranger—unless the official versions of them are added first, in which case they will be there then.
...But, we've already heard (in a Reddit AMA) from Mike Mearls that the mystic is not ready and will be pushed a considerable time-frame. As for the artificer or revised ranger, the latest we have heard is that they will be reintroduced this year.
What I can say is that we will include the artificer, revised ranger, and mystic whenever the next iteration of those classes is released.
That's taken from part of a comment posted on the latest article (at the time of writing) on the front page of DBB. If anyone hasn't read it yet then please, check it out—the whole thing is very informative!

It's been explained numerous times on these forums and can be found by searching.
Simply - user feedback has demonstrated that there are is more valuable functionality that the D&D Beyond team should be working on, rather than adding homebrew classes.
Will homebrew classes be introduced sometime in the future? Maybe. For now though, stuff like better character sheet, campaign management and numerous other features are going to be more valuable to the majority of users.
Thank you!! This answer satisfies me fully. I'm okay with waiting :-) Thanks for the link too, I was trying to find conclusive information like this via search but never found this posting from BadEye!
I must admit this is a bit of disappointing news as I play a Mystic and am very happy with the interface that D&D Beyond provides for my other characters, all of which are classes that are currently available using the purchased guides (XGtE helped to form my revised Dragonborn). I know there was some discussion that the Mystic Class itself is still somewhat overpowered--in my current campaign, one of the psychic attacks that did not have a save (Psionic Blast) was assigned an INT save that could potentially halve the damage. If it does show up, fantastic--if not, I'll just keep using another character sheet to keep track of them there.
I understand being frustrated, but the level of complaint you have is not representative of the immensity of the problem. There are many other features that more immediately impact current users of dndbeyond that the teams are focusing on, like the encounter builder. A base class builder is going to be a long process and will impact a fraction of the people that use dndbeyond vs the encounter builder that all the any dms out there can utilize to help with planning out their gaming sessions. Yeah it would be cool to have the option to make a base class, but honestly it should be low on the totem pole for importance.

Does ddb have any plans of creating the UA classes? I allow my players to use all ua but they're not able to use ddb because of it?

With the whole Additional Classes option now, don't be surprised if Mystic and Artificer find their way there.

Prioritizing is totally fair, I get that, but I saw that homebrew classes are not planned at all, that's what I was surprised about.

It seems really unfortunate that Mystic and other UA material is not supported. I know the reasons we have been given apparently... Wizards of the Coast won't allow it to be published on dndbeyond blah blah until it's published in a book but I think that really hurts players and it's just an annoyance for us who want to use dndbeyond and pay you more money and by proxy pay Wizards of the Coast more money.... but because we want to play a Mystic or some other class or whatever and you restrict us from even home brewing the class properly on your set of online tools... It's going to alienate ao bunch of us.... Why not allow us to create our own classes? You've told us it's too fiddly or whatever but the reasons you give just feel like poor excuses. I think there are a lot of us out there that probably feel similarly.... Come on guys either Wizards of the Coast or dndbeyond... Please let us use the content we love... Heck we will even pay for it! The demand is here. I'd even pay as much as one of the source books costs to get access to the Mystic class at this point.
