Hello! I am looking to get some idea's for magic items for my party. They will be level 5 when they receive them so something uncommon or a verry weak rare. Homebrew or standered Idc just something that is fun and usefull!
I hope your party is ok with funny magic items cause I have some ideas/stolen ideas. hope you like them. these are mostly uncommon.
coin of carnage: a coin that takes 5gp from the person that the coin is in possession of. how to stop: wrap the coin in a fine silk worth 10gp.
lucky charm: a leprechaun appears and is your servant for 1d4 hours. he can kick and deals 1d4+1 damage
slaughtering dagger: a dagger that de limbs a target but deals no damage. the targets speed becomes 0ft.
botox: a potion that makes you appear as any ugly disgusting creature ( at the dm's discretion) for 24 hours.
rock of kidneys: deals a target 1d6+1 damage at the start of each of their turns if the rock is in their mouth, stomach or throat.
underwear of power: a pair of under wear that gives the wearer a 17 ac but only works if the wearer has NO garments of clothing above the under wear, ( so like no pants shirt shoes etc)you can make the ac higher as the player levels up.
un-candle: a candle that makes a 10ft by 10ft circle of darkness giving creatures inside the circle advantage on stealth checks.
boots of bonus action: a pair of boots that gives the wearer a second action by tapping the heels together. tapping the heels together requires an action. : )
BONUS HOMEBREW: pinky of pain. the finger of death just a new (better) name. I love this one and use it in my campaign. : )
hope this helps I love most of these however I don't know how practical some of them are cause I've never played with them. if you like them please tell me and tell me your favorite! : )
Thats a cool thought! I might be able to do something cool with this like our paladin has one blade and they need to go on some sort of a quest to obtain the other one! Thanks!
For the situation im thinking of these wont work as i want the items to be a decent power boost, but I have a few npc's who may more may not partake in these said shenanigens :) Thanks

I've been making some paired weapons for dual wielders lately. Here's a couple that could easily be reflavored as representing the power of the tides:
Zephyr blade: Sirocco & Zephyr blade: Mistral
My homebrew subclasses (full list here)
(Artificer) Swordmage | Glasswright | (Barbarian) Path of the Savage Embrace
(Bard) College of Dance | (Fighter) Warlord | Cannoneer
(Monk) Way of the Elements | (Ranger) Blade Dancer
(Rogue) DaggerMaster | Inquisitor | (Sorcerer) Riftwalker | Spellfist
(Warlock) The Swarm
