Started with spell scroll (1st level) as template. Renamed it to "Scroll of Protection from Evil and Good."
Added the protection from evil and good spell to the item. Set min charges = 1, max charges = 1, save DC = 13, and cast at spell level = 1.
Saved the item.
Added the Scroll of Protection from Evil and Good to a character's inventory.
I would like for the protection from evil and good spell to appear in the list of available spells on the character sheet, as it can now be cast from the scroll in the character's inventory. How can I make this happen?
P.S. IMO users should not have to homebrew spell scrolls for official spells; they should already be present in DDB.
So the workaround is to make it a wondrous item rather than a scroll. Thanks! I still think spell scrolls for all official spells should be added to DDB.

I agree, maybe it will be part of the creation system update. 🤷♂️
Hey, i figured out a solution for this problem, where you don't need to homebrew sth. every time you get a new scroll. Hope that helps someone :)
Tutorial: Spell Scrolls in DnD Beyond
1. Add the following feat to your collection: https://www.dndbeyond.com/feats/778681-spell-scroll 2. Give it to the chosen character via "Manage feats" 3. Select the appropriate spell in "Manage Feats". If you didn't get an official spell, but a homebrewed one, you have to create it yourself beforehand. (I haven't tested the latter myself yet.) 4. The selected spell should now be visible under your spells in the character sheet with the indication of its origin "Spell Scroll". You can also find it under the "Feats" category.
5. Add a pre-made magic item to your inventory: Spell Scroll (1st Level) Here, of course, select the scroll with the appropriate spelllevel. 6. Click on the item in your inventory and use "Customize" to change the item name to: "Scroll of Dispel Magic" or the spell you received.
When the scroll is used up, you delete the item from your inventory and remove the spell via Manage feats.

Here is what I have done:

I actually give some advanced scroll building tips in this thread:

I hope that helps.
