The features your subrace grants get added to the features that the race grants, so make sure you don’t have features with the same names listed under both. For example, where the main race grants +2 to X ability and the subrace grants +1 to another ability:
The player can never select the parent race, so just put the Ability Score Bonuses feature as part of the subrace with both bonuses applied and have it set as “hide in sheet” and Display Order 1, and the set the feature for the parent race to “hide in builder” and “hide in sheet.” That way it’ll only show it once and correctly.
Where you're seeing the SUBRACE NAME twice, is because the format of the race page automatically states the name of the subrace as a header.
In the description of your subrace, you have added a header with the name of the subrace in the description. Just remove the header in the description and use the description field for the description - let D&D Beyond take care of headers. 😊
One additional note, your homebrew subraces don’t group under a parent race as I’m sure you noticed. The way many of us currently address this is to name your subraces by the following convention: “[Race], [Subrace]” so that they group alphabetically. You might not care, but I figured I’d drop the tip anyway.
Will it always lump all my Subraces underneath the Yokai Traits Drop down menu?
I meant in the character creator. You know how when you pick a character’s race you can click on Elf and all of the Elf subraces are all nested undern the parent race? That doesn’t happen with homebrew subraces
For my Subraces I've already added the Yokai handle before the Subrace name. Now my only query is if there's a way to get them out of the Yokai Traits subsection of if that's the homebrew functioning as Intended.
No problem! I appreciate the feedback all the same. I really am excited to get these subraces going. I'm just a bit....peculiar how I wanted it presented. So having them under the traits was a bit off putting to me.
Was looking for something like how this race page was formatted.
So I'm running into a slight formatting issue with my Subrace. In Race Details I'm getting duplicates and I do't know how to fix it. Any Ideas?
No offense but I’m not clicking a strange link.

None taken, I couldn't get the copy paste of my issue and uploaded to imgur. It's my fault for using custom link names. https://imgur.com/4OEg2gc
It's not so much the features coming up wrong it's the sidebar format. I'm linking an image of what I'm talking about.
You’re gonna have to post a link to your homebrew so a mod can look at it for you.

P.S. sorry for the bad MS paint scrawl! 😁

The fact you used MS Paint makes it that much more amazing and appreciated.

Ah, my apologies. I am unfamiliar with Asian language conventions and honestly was unsure what I was even looking at earlier.
