IMC, there is an Inquisitive Rogue that wants the Skirmisher power, and has asked if she could take it as a feat. (Copied from DNDB, below)
Skirmisher
Starting at 3rd level, you are difficult to pin down during a fight. You can move up to half your speed as a reaction when an enemy ends its turn within 5 feet of you. This movement doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks.
Multiclassing doesn't help here, since she's already a Rogue, and this is a 3rd level feature.
My thought is "yes", because it doesn't keep you from getting hit (by the first guy to approach), can only be used once per round (takes a reaction), and doesn't grant any extra attacks (just an extra half-move). It does trump Sentinel (this is not Disengage, and it says no Opportunity Attack), but otherwise seems pretty weak for a feat (IMO).
I think it'd probably be reasonable as a feat; for comparison there's the Mobile feat which grants +10 walking speed, and simply attacking (not hitting) an enemy prevents them from taking an opportunity attack against you, which is a pretty good feat for rogue (lets you disengage by attacking and you don't lose your bonus action).
Obviously very different in what it does, but I'd say pretty comparable in strength?

Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
Thanks Haravikk, I was not aware of the Mobile feat. That seems very comparable. (Knew all the 3e and 4e feats by heart, but 5e is still a mystery to me!)
I'll await some additional responses before giving my player the good news, just in case someone points out an issue I wasn't considering. (Pretty likely, given my whopping 6 sessions GMing 5e so far!)
