Continuing to make himself a target, Brother Randall calls out to the Hook Horror and circles around it, attempting to force it to turn its back on his attacking allies if it stays engaged with him.

”That’s right, ya big bug, watch me and my holy mace while my friends fill you full of holes!” he calls, keeping up his defensive stance and directing his mace to swing again.

Randall:

Taking the first blow from the massive claw on his shield, Randall escapes injury by the barest of margins.  The follow up strike is wild this time, and he manages to step out of the way.

Grim attacks Bird-Beetle 2 again

Grim 1st Attack: 19 Damage: 13

 Grim 2nd Attack 9 Damage: 6

Ceo will try for another stab

Randall:

Continuing to taunt the monster, Randall stays defensive while his magical mace strikes again!

Petcan shrugs. “Do what you like. But no way am I going chasing that thing unnecessarily. We’ve got enough trouble on our plates. Let’s get to the city.”

Randall:

"Nicely done, Ceo, let's keep moving with these refugees," says Randall, looking to his companions and assessing them for combat damage.  "Is anyone hurt?  With the Morninglord's blessing, I can cure your wounds," he offers.

"Yeah no need to chase any creatures when the flee, better move as fast as we can." Bow says with a heavy breathing, stumbling a bit. "Some healing would be nice, thank you Randall."

(OOC: he is 13/43hp which might matter depending on how you want to heal:P)

Cleaning and binding their wounds, Randall casts some healing magic on Bow to speed him on his way to health.

Looking a bit weary, Randall searches for a wagon or cart to rest in as they travel, taking a short nap then waking to renew his prayers.

Petcan really could use a long rest. But five minutes is easy, if anyone wants to do that.

Grim could use a long rest as well but not sure where that would leave the refugees
