Unable to quite shake Umberlee's grip, and bereft of a free hand to reload the crossbow, Undertow stows the weapon and burbles something in halfling again to at least spur Riptide on a pursuing course, before falling instinctively on evasive actions. As for Ranger, he speaks the words and makes the motion of pulling something after grasping at Gar's and Shoalar's new position. Though he visibly strains trying to pull, calling in the motionl upon the quiet of the deep to still the waters by Gar and Shaolar, and devour all sound within it. All to force Shaolar to breakaway from Gar for even a moment...
Though come what may, Undertow drifts a ways northward after, if for nothing more than to keep from being clustered up with everyone else.
Action(Undertow): Attempts to cast (2nd level)Silence centered at [AA/AB-21/22]. Slow Effect("DC <11"): 17.

It was madness to chase two most dangerous foes on the ground, but it could be equally mad not to do so - both were capable to kill from the distance and were effectively doing so. Thus, throwing any caution to the wind, Gulp chased the master and the servant.
BA: Step of the wind - dash to the duo and attacked Shaolar.
Attack 1: 11 Damage: 8
Assuming it hit: Stunning Strike ( CON saving throw (DC 15))
Attack 2: 9 Damage: 11 (Second Attack roll if Stun worked: 13 )
(If he saved from the first Stunning Strike - another one with the second action)

This is the type of fight Bubbles was born to conquer. Barely noticing his own wounds, the barbarian continued to bring the undead sailors down one at a time, and it turns out these slow undead are fairly easy to hit. Two stings from Last Rites are enough to bring the next sailor down. (Undead Sailor #4 takes 59 magical piercing and radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
Twisting like a whirlpool, Bubbles opens the gut of another sailor, though this one does not fall just yet. (Undead Sailor #1 takes 30 magical piercing damage.)

(@Blue: I noticed you rolled critical damage, 2d6, for both attacks even though only one of them was a critical hit. Was this a mistake, am I missing something, or are you going by the adamantine dagger damage in your inventory. If so, please note that the version of the dagger you added to your inventory is the wrong one. The base-rules version of adamantine weapons only auto-crit on objects.)
Gulp shows that he is quite the adept swimmer by quickly catching up to Gar and Shaolar {AB-19}. The monk uses the blunt end of his dagger to pummel Shaolar's temple, and the genasi might just have gotten a concussion from it. Flipping the dagger in a slick wrist movement, Gulp stabs Shaolar's torso hoping that water geneasis have livers like other humanoids. (Shaolar Quanderil takes 19 bludgeoning and piercing damage.)
LEGENDARY ACTION
Gar immediately retaliates by thrusting Wave at Gulp:
(@Ori: Only the second paragraph of the spell's description applies to Semi-Slow, and not even the entire paragraph as you can ignore the penalty to AC and DEX saves. You do not need to roll before casting a spell.)
Undertow orders Riptide to swim ahead while he himself stumbles forward a little bit. The octopus goes far, but for now instinctively focuses on defense. The locathah tries to gain a strategic advantage over the enemy duo by magically forcing all sound out of their immediate vicinity.Gulp is caught in the Silence bubble as well.
For now, the ranger cannot shake off the slowing effect on his body.
LEGENDARY ACTION
Gar continues to attack the party's monk, this time with his enormous crab-claw appendage.
Still reeling from the trident attack, Gulp cannot avoid the claw and is caught in it. (Gulp takes 8 bludgeoning damage.)
(Shanty's turn is still up. He should keep in mind the effects of Semi-Slow but can repeat the CON saving throw {DC 18} at the end of his turn to try and escape this effect.)

Shanty aims a finger at Gar from 90 feet away and shoots an Eldritch Blast. The wisp of energy sizzles as it travels through the water, hitting Gar's claw with a small hissing sound. (Gar takes 5 force damage.)
-> Shanty's end-of-turn CON saving throw {DC 18}: 3
Gulp manages to hold the claw such that it does not close on him any further, but the trident pokes him nonetheless. (Gulp takes 9 magical piercing damage.)
Gar then moves to meet Riptide in combat {AA-21}, dragging Gulp along {AB-21}.
No longer feeling like he's swimming through treacle a newly energised Barnacle beelines towards the undead sailors in an attempt to help Bubbles thin the herd.
Swapping his crossbow for his trusty trident, he starts a-stabbin'.
If Shaolar is still alive and nearby, then before Gar moved - can Gulp use Tipsy Sway ? (When a creature misses you with a melee attack roll, you can spend 1 ki point as a reaction to cause that attack to hit one creature of your choice, other than the attacker, that you can see within 5 ft.)

Breathing easier once freed of the water, Sandlot nods to Amble, thankful for the assistance, then turns back to Gar with a disapproving look. Though the thought of turning the waters back on the would be tyrant played at the back of his mind, mismanagement of the power and one too many allies in range stifles the idea. So, he swam closer to the fray, calling in aquan upon Lady Eldath to sooth Gulp's aches. After which, it is with some hesitance that the purging flames of life are summoned upon Gar. For in hindsight, Sandlot did feel guilty already for the more destructive thoughts that had come to mind.
Movement: To AJ-24. (Should be outside the silence bubble. But if not, he'd back up or stop short of it, if possible)

Freed from the high-density water trap, Sandlot advances toward Gulp and heals the most visible wound on his body from a distance of 40 feet. (Gulp recovers 5 HP.)
Then, the cleric of Eldath calls on her more aggressive blessings, lamenting that there might be no way back to full pacifism for him any longer. The Purging Flame licks Gar, though he barely notices it. (Gar takes 5 radiant damage.)
Finally able to move properly again, Barnacle rushes to Bubbles' aid {AJ-31}. He introduces his unnamed trident to the fight by letting it taste rotten flesh. (Undead Sailor #3 takes 19 magical piercing damage.)
Gulp is pierced once more but there is something different about it this time around. The trident lets out an inky fog, much like that of a cephalopod, which surrounds the wound it just delivered to the monk's torso. For a moment, Gulp believes he hears a deep and restless voice in his head: "You belong to Umberlee!"Gulp's life essence is sucked into the inky cloud (Gulp takes 13 magical piercing damage from the attack and an additional 38 necrotic damage from the ink.)
Gulp goes limp and is allowed to slip out of Gar's claw. No one hears the monk's death cries due to Silence. (Gulp is unconscious, incapacitated, and prone.)
Amble will continue to assist those who are trapped by the Semi-Slow effect. Noticing that Shanty is one such affected creature, and that the bard is only 10 feet away, the tortle will nullify the magical entrapment.
Paying little attention to his defenses, Bubbles continues to accumulate wounds. Meanwhile, Barnacle's recent arrival at the scene is met with a wayward slash. (Bubbles takes 16 slashing damage, already halved. Barnacle takes 8 slashing damage.)
The entire area begins to rumble a bit. The party suddenly realizes what that means, recalling how fast the coral grew back in Gar's throne room. From shipwreck and coral clusters in the vicinity, as well as from underneath the sandy bottom, coral arms shoot out and attempt to restrain each and every one of Gar's foes:
Amble, Undertow, and Bubbles are able to resist the grasping coral, but the others aren't. Barnacle, Sandlot, Shanty, and Riptide are now restrained. An unconsciousGulp is easily held in place on the sandy floor.
(Bubbles, Gulp, Shanty, and Undertow are up next. Both Shanty is restrained but can take an action on his turn to make a {DC 18} Athletics or Acrobatics check to free himself. Undertow is affected by Semi-Slow and can roll a CON saving throw {DC 18} at the end of his turn to escape that effect. Gulp needs to roll a DEATH saving throw.)
With so many attackers to deal with Bubbles does not even notice what is happening elsewhere on the battlefield, and amid the slashing blades that are opening cuts all over him he continues to spin and slash at the remaining four aiming his first mightly swing at the one he wounded last round, yelling "You want some, how about you, you and you" (Reckless attack and GWM feat continuing to be used)
