Brix looks around the same as everyone else. Squirrely Dan rides on his shoulder. The homunculus' is about the size of a cat in comparison to Brix' small stature.
Brix will examine the chest looking for mechanical triggers or anything that indicates a trap. He'll toss a couple acorns he carries for spell purposes at the chest first concerned that this could be a mimic waiting to strike.
"I don't see anything out of the ordinary but a chest just randomly in the middle of an ante chamber has to have a purpose. Let's put a rope around it and see if we can get it out of here before opening it. Most traps trigger when a chest is opened wouldn't you say?" Brix explains to the others. "Did anybody find anything else?"
"Unfortunately, neither Nettle or I could see anything unusual either," Soren thinks aloud.
"Seems strange, a chest in a place like that. Whether it's a mimic, or seawater will pour in and trap whoever opens it... or maybe we are jumping at shadows. I like the idea of pulling it out with a rope if we can, unless it's stuck to the floor."
Garmuk still staring at the wall.
Garmuk safe look?
Garmuk will turn around see the door open shrug and walk to the edge of the open door.
Room smell funny like been flooded. Garmuk think trap. Garmuk will look for anything that looks like it could trigger a flood. Spring switch ect.
