You are now standing around the hidden entrance. You made a good deal of noise, but you get the feeling anyone a few rooms away probably would not have picked the noise out over the din of all the goblins going about their business. You have the barred door to the south, the door to the north east where the bugbear came out of, or pretty much the entire west side of the castle left to explore. You still have not found out where Gundren is or discovered the location of Wave Echo Cave. How would you like to proceed?

Tibern is going to move into the room where the bugbear appeared from, keeping his handcrossbow drawn and loaded. He will hold his hand up tonhis lips to keep the others quiet. He will peek inside to see what may be inside.
This chamber has been set up as a crude living space, with thick furs thrown on the floor to serve as carpets, old trophies hanging on the walls, a large bed to the north, and a brazier of coals burning brightly. A round table with several chairs stands to the south near the door.
Near the table you see a dwarf who appears to have just cut himself free of his bindings. As he stands up he slips in a small pool of blood on the floor but manages to steady himself on the table. "About time!" he announces as he spots Tibern. "Did you kill the bastard?" He says as he approaches.
"If ypu are refering to the bugbear then yes he is no longer breathing. Would you happen to be Gundren or his brother?" Tibern asks as he steps closet to the dwarf, looking back towards the rest of the group to see if they are going to come inside the room.
Lothar walked in and saw the dwarf. "Gunden? Is that you? We've come to free you." He walked over and helped the dwarf up and get free of his bindings. "Are you well?" he genuinely asked.
As Lothar gets close he notices that the rope is partially soaked in fresh blood, and that Gundren appears to be uninjured. Lothar quickly glances around the room getting an idea that something is wrong. He sees that the bedding has been torn open as though it had recently and quickly been searched, and that there is more blood on the floor near the other door.

This dwarf seems to move faster than your average dwarf (he moved 30ft), but Vandar still manages to catch up. Unfortunately the dwarf slips from Vandar's grasp as the monk attempts a grapple.
Everyone please roll initiative. (Note Gundren has not attacked and is still trying to flee.)
Gundren initiative: 6
Anyone who gave chase is close enough to try a grapple or melee attack or whatever, at least until the dwarf's turn.

Silas will follow Tibern into the room with the dwarf. But he will keep his distance from the dwarf for now.

"Aye, I am Gundren, and I'm grateful to ye lads but I'm not sticking around this place." The dwarf says as he marches past you through the door.
Lothar please roll perception.
Tibern can only shrugnto the others as he storms out of the room. "But what of your brother did these cretins capture him as well?"
Lothar
"Wait! Where are you going?" the man asked Grunden. "This place has not been cleared, yet."

"No time to chit chat lads, I've places to be." The dwarf says as he exits the room.
Tibern will follow after the dwarf to see if there is something wrong with him as he finds that Gundren is acting strangely to him.

Vandar follows as well. "Wait!" He calls to the dwarf. "Are you bloody crazy, you'll just get yourself recaptured or killed!"
Once past the party, the dwarf begins running for the tree line.
Vandar dashes after the dwarf, trying to grapple him once he's close enough in order to stop him until he can figure out what's going on.
(I have 45 foot move speed to his 25, so catching up shouldn't be a problem. We'll see about the actual grapple...)
Athletics: 16
Silas will also dash after the dwarf.
