Tibern gets ready to fight, not happy that the man they had come to save was on the floor bleeding outnin front of them. "Is this not a marvelous turn of events?"
We did but the problem is Tibern has yet to learn what the staff does and has only been asked about it in the middle of combat. And my dumb self missed that Tibern could learn cure wounds but is stuck with the spells he had until he levels up....
Ok, so Tibern gets a surprise attack before the battle begins, if he wants, or you can just take advantage on your first attack if you would rather let the others go first.
the order is:
Vandar
Lothar
Bron
Goblins
Tibern
Glen is waiting in the tunnel out of combat.
Sildar is clearly at 0 HP, he will be rolling death saving throws until he is either stabilized or he dies, just like a player character.

Seeing that he had a chance to get in and attack the surprised goblins, Tibern will make his way to the one by Lothar and attempt to hit it with his rapier and then with the dagger in his off hand.
Tibern dashes into the room directly at the goblin by the stairs. The goblin's eyes go wide with surprise as Tibern's rapier makes a clean incision across the goblin's throat. The creature's face twists in horror before its head falls backwards and rolls across the floor.
Glen begins to search through the tunnels, but as of yet only a couple seconds have past and he has discoverd nothing new in the tunnel heading towards the waterfall room.
From the entrance to the top of the stairs is about 30ft. From there Vandar could get a clear shot at the goblin leader without having to roll disadvantage because of him being under cover behind the stalagmite. Or you could take a dash action and get right up beside him.
Ive no access to a computer right now so I can not update the map.
Vandar throws his yklwa at the goblin leader, embedding the tip into the creature's femur. (I cant link pictures from my phone or I would put a picture from Ace Ventura 2 here.) The goblin looks down at the weapon and screams, but remains standing.
Glen can make it about half way to his destination this round of combat. He observes nothing new on his way, and is quite sure no other goblins are currently in the tunnel. (Glen is not in combat but for the sake of continuity he will have to act as though he was until the combat is over, but he can take his turn at any time in the order.)

Lothar
Lothar sees the goblin near his fall to Tibern's rapier, and he smiles menacing at the goblin leader. He drops his crossbow and pulls his mighty greatsword. His bolt may have missed, but his sword has always been reliable. He moves into position next to the Goblin Leader and pulls back his sword in a mighty arc. "It is time to die, Goblin," he says as he brings it forward in a downward sweeping arc.
Move: Move to Goblin Leader.
Attack: Goblin Leader with greatsword: Attack: 18 Damage: 12
Bron will toss the goblin to the side being silent was over. Upon rushing into the room he'll make his was to the guy bleeding out on the ground after seeing his companions had the goblins covered. Not being a medic on the field he'll try to stabilize him until they could get him to a proper healer to look at him.
Bron is unable to aid Sildar, and feels as though he may have made things worse in the attempt, though Sildar is still breathing.
The Goblin Leader, realizing that he has no chance of victory makes a desperate attempt to flee. He leaps off the escarpment making a less than graceful landing, you hear the crack of breaking bone, but the goblin manages to stand and continue his escape attempt. He makes it as far as the exit to the room but no further yet.
Glen will be able to get to his destination during the next round of combat, after everyone has taken their first turn. Tiburn is the last one this round.

OOC: I could have sworn we fixed the "healing" problem in this group?

(At least Lothar's critical fail didn't kill the prisoner...)

Glen stays in the hallway not wanting to die and because he had done his part, killing two already
( could have been a lot worse. )

After this combat, I will calculate all your xp so far. I think this will probably get you guys to lvl 2.

Rapier: Attack: 19 Damage: 9

Glens going to explore the parts of the cave he hasn’t seen yet just to do something (perception 20)
(Can I reach the leader?)

(That works)
Vandar follows Tibern into the room and moves quickly up to the stairs, launching his weapon directly at the goblin leader.
Attack: 19 Damage: 12
Actually glen is going to explore the cave room near the entrance since he couldn’t see all the way in when they arrived (perception 14)

The goblin leader manages to dodge Lothar's attack, with more luck than skill.
Have I reached the entrance to the room in the beginning yet?
