The dwarf halts his troop a couple of hundred feet away from the party. Several of them have crossbows readied for just in case (pretty much trained on Ekmong).
"A Paladin and member of the Scout patrol." The dwarf calls over to the group. "What reason do you have to bring a demonling into Allhaven?"
Fjorgin answers. "This demonling claims to have no allegiance to the Army of the Lower. Let it speak for itself, and if you do not accept its tale, then I may join you in killing it."

“I’m no Demon, I’m a tiefling. Sure, there is some blood connection there somewhere eons ago but I definitely cannot be the first tiefling you all have seen. I have not always been honest or honorable but I’m no villain. What is the Army of the Lower anyway? Is that who is responsible for the barren earth I’ve seen out there? Who leads it?”
”And here. I can’t be that bad if I helped bring this cube back here right. The paladin has yet to smite me. That must mean I’m not that bad, right?”
"We were aware of the rest of this group heading to us. You were not mentioned and I'm sure you would have been. We have seen Tieflings on the battlefield and never as allies. You being alive doesn't give us reason to keep you that way.
Where did your spring from and how do you come to travel with these?"
"Oh my..."Thea sighes to herself before stepping in. "Calm down everyone. As some of you might know we were sent on a mission by the luminaries. It took us to some sort of a holy place. We had to pass tests. And when we finally passed them, we stumbled upon him. So far he has done no harm, so i would appreciate you guys dropping the gratuitous accusations. We've accomplished our task, the rest is for the luminaries to decide." She gives Fjoring and especially the guards a stern look.
"Did the Luminaries ask you to bring back potential agents of The Lower?" The guard captain retorts to Thea. "These Devilkin have never stepped foot beyond this bastion of defence under my watch, never."
"I wouldn't expect someone from the capital to understand." The dwarf responds, obviously agitated. "You don't know what things we have to do here. Minions of The Lower try and crawl and creep through The Steppe almost daily."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Something tells me I won’t simply be able to convince you of my worthiness with words. So, what if I hand over all my weapons to you, may I enter then? The sacred Paladin, and the smart lady here will keep an eye on me. Perhaps you’d feel better if one of your man also followed me around? This way we don’t have to keep the “luminary” waiting... whoever that might be.”
The dwarf captain nods to one of his troops, who steps forward with a pair of manacles. "If you are to approach anywhere within Allhaven, you will be under this paladin's charge." He says, looking to Fjorgin. "Any acts that you may do are upon both of your heads, should Mighty Barrizhein smite you were you to raise a hand against any citizen."
"With that business handled Captain, may I be dismissed to carry out my other duties? I am to escort this group and would like to get them bedding and procure the rest of our supplies."
Urtren appraises Ekmong for a moment before focusing his attention back onto the Captain.
The manacles are handed to Fjorgin along with the key so he may shackle Fjorgin. "It's your responsability, defender of the faith." The dwarf captain tells the aasimar. He then turns to Urten, "You are dismissed, private. Ensure your mission is completed successfully, for the good of Allhaven."

Ekmong stays silent for now.

The attention is now fully turned to Ekmong.
(Looks like you're going to have to plead your case to everyone!)

Ekmong hands over the cube to Thea, all his weapons to Fjorgin, and extends his arms close together with a sigh.

They takes over the silver container, hoping the weight wont be crushing down on her too much for the last part of the way.
As Thea takes hold of the silver container, it feels somewhat lightweight. It almost feels as if it were completely hollow with no contents...
(OOC: even the box hates Ekmong!)
