"Indeed, they were suppose to be awaiting us this morning. OI! I am Urtren and this group is under orders from The Lumieres to depart with haste! Make way for us to leave!"
The group approaches the huge city gates. Before they even get within talking distance the huge reinforced doors begin to slowly rumble open, but only just enough that the group can walk through 2-by-2.
"Well, guess they're happy to see some of us leave." Pip comments, striding forward to leave Sun's Last Light.
Fjorgin does so grudgingly, muttering to himself while doing so.

The group continues onward towards the emerald green fields ahead, the early shining light of dawn glistening on the dewdrops as the scent of flourishing plants dances in the air. Continuing ahead, Pip leads the group down what appears to be a trade route, a simple dirt track that follows along the hilly incline ahead of the group. The halfing appears to join in with Thea in some upbeat tunes, seemingly enjoying being back within Allhaven.
After about three hours of wandering down the track, a large wagon can be seen ahead of the group, pulled by two draft horses. Seated at the front of the wagon is a well built goliath woman with pale grey skin, idly toying with a blade of grass between her fingers. "Looks like a supply wagon for Sun's Last Light." Pip explains to Ekmong. "Probably either some building supplies or metals for crafting into new armour and weapons."
The goliath slows the wagon down as she sees the travelling band on the road. She has a stern look on her face, but her mouth is slightly curved into a smile. As the wagon stops, she addresses Fjorgin first. "Hail, Sir Lightbringer. How fare your travels?" She glances at Ekmong. "You have... interesting company if you pardon my words."
Thea:
The container that you are carrying today feels heavier than it did yesterday...
Fjorgin addresses the goliath. "As always, danger seems to be around every corner. Yet we must fight back until the day that Pelor's light burns the Army of the Lower to cinders, and so we shall. Do not mind my companion. He is under my watch. And you, brave merchant, how go your travels?"

"Ekmong you will have to develop a tough skin by the time we get to the Capital. I understand you claim no allegiance to the Lowers however, all most people will see is another Devilkin that wants to destroy them. I still feel the sidelong looks due to my heritage but that animosity is far overshadowed by the hatred of the Lower.
What is this Army of the Lower anyway? I have never heard of it. Were those gorillas we fought part of the Army? If so, they are pretty disorganized. And how come everyone acts as if this is common knowledge? From one day to the next all the green fields and quaint countryside turn from lush to ash and everyone acts as if it is just another day of hating your neighbor. Where are all the Tieflings for that matter?
"I honestly don't know if we're the right ones to explain this to you. I believe it would be better to have the lumanies do it, but i guess we need to try and give you an overview. I want to warn you, however, because this is going to hurt. So, where do we start? Something must have happened to you in that chapel, something of the sort that leaves you untouched by time. I don't really understand it myself," and she mugs, clearly disatisfied by both having to admit and the mere fact that shes clueless,"but this is no longer your century, hell it's probably not even your millenium. At some point, Asmodeus brought the drow under his control, conquered the underdark and then went on to invade this plane. It got all sorts of gods involved, only a few cities remain safe. As of now, we're headed to the bastion of Pelor. But the evil forces have managed to sneak in even into this "protected" territory. All sorts of monstrosities wander the lands and seek to wipe out their population, those are Asmodeus Army of the Lower. I myself lost my whole family to them. So yes, these Goriallas were probably part of his troupes, but there are a lot more. Ones that are less scary, but also those that annihilate a whole army in the blink of an eye. Right here, right now, Galabor is nothing more but a rumour." Her voice becomes somewhat quiet, a dolorous tone to it. "I think it would be best for you to accept that the people you know are gone, just like places you called home. A great evil has taken over the land, the people are still resisting, but there sure as hell isn't much to fight for anymore."
The goliath continues taking with Fjorgin whilst Thea and Ekmong are discussing. "Nothing too drastic, just bringing some smelted ores from the mountain mines to help support the border. It's thanks to them we have any sort of home after all." She glances back the way she came. "With any luck I should be able to reach the gates before nightfall. Being within a city's walls would be a nice change. Anyway, I should let you continue on your noble journey, Sir Lightbringer." She gives a short bow before cracking the reins for the two horses to continue on their path.
Pip looks to the others. "Well she was pretty friendly. I've never been up to the Silver Town myself. Anyway, we should continue our journey; we don't want to keep The Luminaries waiting."
Pip continues to lead the group along the path carved by many caravans over the years as he seems to be in much higher spirits for being back within the protectorate of Allhaven. Off to the right in the distance, the first few trees of the richly flourishing forest can be seen as the afternoon sun is slowly lowering in the sky. The scent of wild flowers becomes richer the further along the party travels. "When we camp tonight, we should make sure we guard against snake things this time." Pip advises. "I have some strings and things in my pack, so perhaps a couple of trip wires could be set up."
"Even within Allhaven we shouldn't sleep without a watch. A 2 hour shift will still have everyone rested but without us being surprised. Pip I have some Piton that we can tie together with some string to alert us if they have tripped the rope."
"Indeed, they were suppose to be awaiting us this morning. OI! I am Urtren and this group is under orders from The Lumieres to depart with haste! Make way for us to leave!"
(OOC: forgot to mention that thea will definitely not forget to bring the container of course!)

Once outside, Ekmong will extend his arms toward Fjorgin, silently asking him to release the tiefling from his bonds.
Fjorgin does so grudgingly, muttering to himself while doing so.

“And my weapons... please”, Ekmong adds with a forced smile.
"Alright bois, off we go!" Thea follows Pips lead, silently whistling a slow melody.

“Perhaps she is willing to trade. There was little time for restocking supplies at that hateful town”, Ekmong proposes.

“Interesting company? That’s the most pleasant name I’ve been given over the last couple of days.”

Can anyone shed some light on this?
Ekmong is having a bit of a breakdown.

"My... sister..." Ekmong goes silent, looking at Thea but string into the distance.

Ekmong is silent and pensive for the rest of the walk, at least until they decide to camp.
"Sounds like a plan, we know all too well what might be praying on usduring the night..."
