"Come along then we have little time for preparations unfortunately. My name is Urtren and I will be escorting you from our outpost back to Allhaven. The latest reports state the roads are clear however I rarely find that to be entirely true. You will all rest here tonight but we must depart in the morning with haste. If you have anything in need of repair there is a skilled dwarf Balnus that can forge anything."
During his introduction Urtren quickly scans each member of the party. His eyes linger a moment longer on Ekmong, a look of calculation rather than pure disdain.
"You have to remember," Pip whispers to Ekmong, "Your folk try and invade here constantly." As the group is escorted by the dwarf captain and his squad back to Sun's Last Light.
The large reinforced gates of Sun's Last Light open to reveal the town of mismatched buildings, built over centuries from various materials and styles. As the group enters the streets with Ekmong shackled and led by Fjorgin, there are stares of hate and fear from the folk in the street. The few children out on the street seem to run away, shouting for their parents. It is a different vibe from the last time the party entered here.
"You can stay here one night." The guard captain tells the group. "I doubt the folk here won't tolerate it for much longer than that."
The group is escorted through the city streets, Ekmong feeling the enmity of the people within this town as he is led through towards a tavern. The dwarf captain goes and speaks with the person behind the bar before returning to the party. "I've explained that the Luminaries are expecting to see all of you." He informs the group, mostly looking at Ekmong. "You should be fine to stay here, though I advise not getting too close to the folk here."
"Come let us get settled in a room for the night. I will bring up a meal for the Tiefling to dine in the room. I cannot ensure your safety in a room of drunk soldiers. I will stay and eat with him if the rest of you would like to dine in the main room. I have requested traveling provisions for us in the morning to continue on."
"To be fair, these people have all the right to be displeased, this town is the one closest to the border...but i'll stick with you as well, i feel like we should try and not draw any attention to our presence here."
The party spends the evening within the tavern, mostly keeping to the rooms requisitioned for them. They are not disturbed during the night, as it appears the captain has managed to keep the locals at bay for now. As it is getting to first light at dawn, there is a knock on the doors. "Alarm call!" The barkeep's voice calls from the corridor, informing the group that their stay is most likely nearing its end. "Breakfast will be ready in ten minutes!"
Ekmong will go down for breakfast only as part of the group. He is not willing to be alone here at any given time, even if it is just for moving from one room to the next.
The group makes their way downstairs together to find that the tavern room is empty bar the innkeeper. The group is given a fried breakfast, though Ekmong notes his is overcooked in comparison to the others. When enquired, the innkeeper mumbles something about making sure it was hot enough for the hellspawn.
Fjorgin digs into his breakfast, eager to fill his belly. "Well, we must not dilly-dally much longer. When do you suggest we leave, Urtren?"

"Indeed. The provisions are ready and let us be off. If we get through the streets before the crowds start it will go better for us. If everyone is rested and ready, lets move."
Thea suppresses a yawn and clumsily rises from the table after finishing the slight scrap of food she was able to gulp down. Still not much of a morning person, she rubs her eyes and strolls towards the door. "Alright then...shall we" she yawns again.
Pip stretches as he watches the others getting ready. "Well it'll only be a couple of days before we're home. Maybe if we're lucky, we can get a lift with a caravan again." Pip grabs his bag and follows the group out.
Headed south through the main square, several groups are preparing for their work for the day. As the party passes, there are some stern looks. Arriving at the South Gate, the large heavy gates are still closed, with guards atop the wall keeping guard as they do every hour.
“I hope the crowds in Allhaven are a bit more open-minded”, Ekmong chimes in, hoping to leave this hateful place as soon the South Gates open with no further hassle.
Thea frowns and turns to Urtren. "You think it would be possible to get the guard to open up for us? I got a bad feeling about being cornered like this..."

(I swear it isn't you. It'll make sense in context...)

Ekmong stares back, with a look that sort of says "What? I didn't do anything".

"What a cordial welcoming. Seems like we should take our leave as quickly as possible."
His spite seems to be leaving Ekmong as he walks.

“I don’t plan on leaving the room, but might be attacked if left alone. I don’t like this place.”

(So moving on a bit)

“Now”, Ekmong suggests picking on his food skeptically.
