(Will assume Dobin is disengaging.)
Nivi thrust into the ettercap again, this time the creature gives a weaker hiss. Its wounds are heavy but it still persists. Dobin shakes the swarm off and darts out, taking a moment to breathe from his injuries. The swarm that was on Dobin quickly regroups and notice Nivi, being the only the one in the room without a swarm on them. They climb onto her and try to bite her.
Yes, sorry. Been out of town with minimal cell service last couple days. yes, Dobin will disengage and get away from the swarm
OOC: (copying this over from discord) Wanted to check if Dobin, while disengaging, wants to use his bonus action to command his panther to attack the Ettercap, who seems almost finished off. So it could make a big difference and it didn't seem like Dobin is using his bonus action otherwise.

(It does, web has just 5 hp.)
Najax is thrown off by the added weight to the greatsword, accidently sending it too forward, causing it to crash into the floorboards. But the tentacle free Brand from his sticky bonds as the swarm upon him tries to bite at him again.
When Nivi mentions the 'silvery teleport' it didn't suprise him that it was a good guess. Well, sort of. The spell is Misty Step and many a mage seek the spell. It isn't too complex, it's quick to cast and you get to teleport! Granted, not far. But still, if there's one thing that basically screams of awesome magics it's teleportation. If somebody is a talented mage, of any real level, then you can bet yer booty they've got a spiffy Misty Step tucked in their spellslingin' toolbelt one way or another. In fact, Brand had gotten his access direct from the source. Teleportation is rife in the plane known as the Feywild and his adventuring through rifts for magical study took him there. Long story short - he helped a fey and was gifted a little spark of the Feywild in his soul. This spark granted him the power to use the spell without expending his magical energies. Not only this but it imprinted the spell into his mind, allowing him to use it like any spell without having to actually learn it or structure a place for it in his mind. Even more interestingly, this gift, this spark, this touch of they Feywild seemed to have had interacted with his genasi blood. His 'Misty Step', was less mist and more 'swirl of ashy smoke and embers'. Nevertheless it functioned the same.
Interestingly the touch of the Feywild also gave him a peculiar spell in a similar fashon, one he had not yet ever seen in a book. A way to jab at a person's mind, their psyche, to distract them while mentally bolstering himself - or an ally, perhaps. Seemed like feywild and more to do with the mischievious nature of the fey that granted this gift. All in all, it had been an interesting experience. The reward meant he was a little too overeager in his studies of another rift - and got stuck here in the Material plane. And now... He was covered in spiders and webbing.
Anyway, task at hand. Would Misty Stepping solve his sticky situation? Possible, it was a neat spell for escaping restraints. Shackles, ropes, chains and good old beefy hands from thugs. But this was a bit different. This webbing was directly adhered to him. More than likely, he'd escape the swarm but would still be stuck in web.
Would it be worth a sh-
And just like that a manifested tentacle slapped this webbing like a jilted ex-lover and a seeping cold rippled through. The spiders scurried off, unharmed but the web became hard, cold and brittle. With a shrug of his shoulders the iced-webbing broke apart. He was free.
And the spiders were back on him, trying - and failing - to bite through his magic armour spell.
"Thank you!" He called out to Najax. "Much appreciated."
A firebolt would be difficult - the spiders were making it too difficult to aim properly. Something less accurate, but single target then. He turns his attention to the Ettercap. If he timed it right, he could create a controlled fire under it.
"Keep that thing in place!" He commanded of his allies, pointing at the Ettercap. With an arcane word, a gesture of the hand the ground below the Ettercap gained a glyph of glowing orange as fire suddenly sprang up from beneath it.

Brand casts Create Bonfire in the Ettercap's space. - Dex Save, DC 15, or it receives 6 (rolled in log) fire damage. Any creature starting a turn in the space must make the save or receive 1d8 fire famage.

The ettercap was focused on the remaining foe before it, not noticing the glowing rune below it. The rune shines brightly then ignites, a burst of flames coming from the rune engulfs the ettercap. It lets out a death throe as it flails about for a moment before collapsing. The flames die down and leave a burned carcass in its place. The spiders upon Najax try to bite him again.
((Brand would drop concentration on bonfire spell when Ettercap dies))
((Could Brand use a Reaction to cast Silvery Barbs on the swarm on Najax to force it to reroll its attack, taking the lower roll, and then grant Najax advantage on their next ability check/attack/saving throw? ))
- If I can -
Brand sees the swarm on Najax and uses that gift of the feywild, the peculiar spell, to weave an enchanting, distracting, thought of burning fire into their tiny burning minds. The weaving of the spell also allowing him to then send an encouraging thought of warmth and hope into the mind of Najax - magically bolstering their focus. With a simple arcane word so muttered, the spell escapes his mouth like embers caught on a wind as these little bits of ethereal, harmless, flame encircle and sink into their targets to weave this mysterious fey magic.

Davak swipes at the spiders upon him, though only cleaving through a few of them. The giant spider bites at Davak, along with the swarm biting as well.
Giant Spider Attack: 18 Damage: 9
Con Save if hit, DC 11, Davak has advantage but if fail take 2 poison damage (Already reduced from 2d8 to 1d4)
"Bloody gods damned spiders," Nivi growls as she disengages as a bonus action (Cunning Action) and moves 5' west.
"May whatever attacked this bloody ship bugger Lolth with the bloody mast and wipe her arse with these filthy webs."
Her owl Shiv sweeps in from outside and takes the help action on the swarm that had just been on her (3) using his 60' fly speed and Flyby capability to avoid attacks of opportunity, flying right back out the door and 10' up, wanting nothing to do with the claustrophobic cabin.
Smart bird, Nivi thinks, wanting to be outside as well herself with more room to maneuver, but aware that she is less wounded than the others and needs to make herself a target for some of the spiders' attacks. She swipes at the Spider Swarm (3) with advantage from help and best of 3d20s from her Elven Accuracy feat, using the Booming Blade cantrip and her rapier.
Nivi'sRapier to hit Spider Swarm 3 (advantage, best of 3d20s): 22 Nivi'sRapier plus Sneak Attack damage: 7 + 12 = 19 piercing damage Nivi'sBooming Blade damage if Spider Swarm 3 moves on its turn (which it would have to in order to attack with its 0' reach): 2 thunder damage
(So is Dobin disengaging out of the room?)
