We can continue, with Lvl 3 Nadir might be able to offer a little bit more protection to those around her, so I would wait to bring Hercule along. I’ve been also thinking that I feel that I miss an action in the rules set, something similar to help but instead of granting advantage it should do the opposite, forcing disadvantage. It could be called hinder. I think that would be something useful as an action for a dog as an assailant could not fully concentrate on their attack with the dog nearby. Not sure, what do you think about this?
It’s fine by me!

The next morning as you step through the door it opens up into a thick, wet forest, nearly a jungle, with enormously tall trees with enough light for you to see Filtering down. On the ground in several places about 30 ft away you spot glimpses of 2 deep Rothe’s, a cave badger, a Bullywug, a broom of animated attack, a derro, a cow, and a constrictor snake. Roll initiative!

Peregrin: "This'll be a tough bunch. Perhaps we can tame the cow, and maybe gain milk from it to sell. I'll deal with the snake, and then the badger. You guys figure the rest out."

The init order goes Deep rothe, Peregrin, badger, Bullywug, Dolrik, broom, derro, count, a cow named meanie weenie (an actual cow my family owns, I’m sticking her in here just for fun.) nadir, snake, and rothe.
The first deep Roth comes charging in at Nadir: Attack: 6 Damage: 15
Peregrins attack does not hit the snake but the hide seems to be successful.
The badger runs up and makes a bite and a claw attack at Dolrik: Attack: 15 Damage: 7
Attack: 14 Damage: 5
the Bullywug (my personal favorite monster, by the way.) leaps over and make a bite and spear attack at count: Attack: 14 Damage: 4 bludgeoning
spear; Attack: 18 Damage: 7
Dolrik is up!

(Now that he’s engaged, he’d look to shift his position to 1) minimize his chance to be flanked, 2) avoid the charge of either Deep Rothe, and 3) not provide an opportunity attack against himself.)
Dolrik casts Bless to bolster Count, Nadir and Peregrin.

“That’s one mean cow! I think best she can hope for are hamburgers now.” Still, Nadir stays near Dolrik to protect his back and tries to kill the badger and hoping the rest keep their focus on her.
Wait, for the charge damage, meanie weenie has to go the 20' but assuming the enemies were kind of together, Count and Sir Spitz already traveled close to them to lance the derro!
