Peering into the next room, you can easily tell that this kitchen has not been used in quite some time. The large wooden island in the center is full of dust covered pots, pans and utensils. The hearthfire lies cold. On the far end of the kitchen is a wooden, swinging double door. Hanging on the wall directly to your right are several old blood-stained aprons. If you decide to enter, you can move about half way through this room before leaving the radius of the silence spell.
Lana looked changed Rel up and down, nodded energetically - "yes, that's her" - and pointed at the ears, confirming that she understood the instructions.
She watched curiously Zan's destruction of the door, not trying to interfere in any way. With all her grace, the girl did not strike you as a powerhouse, maybe that was the reason. Nevertheless, when the door was down, she would stop anyone trying to enter, point at herself - "I go first" and step into the "enemy territory". She tried to move as silently as possible even within the field, listening closely to any kind of noise - hers or anyone else's (Stealth: 7).
Once she was out of the silence field, the floor treacherously squeek under her foot, forcing Lana to stop. She looked back with a sigh and a shrug. At least now her figure indicated the end of the silent zone.
With her eyes wide open (Perception: 16) she resumed her movement to the swinging door and slowly opened it.
Rel chastises herself for not aiding her companions with Guidance from her divine connection.
If anyone moves to investigate the blood-covered aprons or to listen at the swinging double doors at the end of the kitchen, she taps them on the shoulder, nodding and casting Guidance at a whisper as she steps out of the area of Silence. She then steps back to the rear.
"Interesting approach", Tex comments Zane's short work of the door before realising that they are still in the zone of silence. Tex follows Lana with her advance, spear and shield ready for an ambush. Lizzy follows him, looking out for danger.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Tex' first instinct was not to touch anything when they entered the kitchen as to keep their entrance harder to spot. But on second thought and glancing back to the destroyed door, that doesn't seem to be a concern anymore, therefore he decides to give the kitchen a closer look while Lana continues to the swinging door. Most here doesn't appear to have been disturbed for some time but he is drawn to the blood stains and, therefore, he gives special attention to the aprons before closing up to Lana.

Zane removes pieces of the door before dropping the Silence spell, then whispers, "I can re-do that up ahead as well. Would be especially good as they have spellcasters."
He will wait to see what's on the other side of the swinging door before re-casting Silence.
Tex, you begin to investigate the bloodied aprons, noting that the blood is very old and flaky. A few dead maggots lie on the floor beneath where the aprons hang.
Lana
With your Perception check as you approach the swinging doors, you can see a fog beginning to move into the kitchen slowly forming at the base of the doors. You have one round to do anything before something happens
Lana did not even reach the doors yet as she jumped back with a harsh "Stand back!" to everyone. "Something is there, see that fog?" She pointed with her hand crossbow while loading it.
(Ready action - shoot if something obviously aggressive enters the room. Crossbow, hand: to hit 23 Damage: 5)
Tex immediately turns to Lana, then to where she indicates. Reflexively, he draws his spear and tightens his grip on his shield before stepping up to Lana with Lizzy flanking him. He is ready to throw his spear at whatever appears in front of him.

With no one having taken up her offer of Guidance, Rel finishes her prior action by tapping herself as the target.
Black shadow then wisps forth from her darkened earrings as she touches one with her free hand, wafting past the double doors and into the fog as she casts Minor Illusion. Causing a human voice to emanate from a distance 30' beyond her into the unknown area of the manor. Speaking in the clipped, authoritative, no nonsense tones of the brown-haired hatted woman in violet and gold trim.
"No, no. Stop immediately. There's been a mistake. These are not who we thought they were. We must talk face to face."
Zane takes a look at the fog and then casts something, disappearing from view (Invisibility). After that, claws still out from destroying the door, climbs up the side of the kitchen wall and towards the swinging doors the fog is coming from.
Despite Rel's effort to deceive and redirect whatever this may be, the fog continues to pour into the room until an approximately 5 foot circular cloud begins approaching Lana. She unleashes her crossbow bolt into whatever this may be having minimal effect of the cloud. Tex, having seen Lana attack, instinctively throws his spear at it. The cloud continues forward moving towards Lana.
Lana, attack to hit: 23 hits for 5 piercing damage reduced to 2 for resistance.
Tex, please roll your readied spear attack.
Initiative will begin here. I will post a map later on today when I get home.
