Aeryn takes out the paper and hands it to Whisper "see foryourself, pass it around that way everyone can have a clear layout and idea of what we are dealing with now"
"Once we are there I can have Relish scout for us, she will not be out of place in a barn" Klara says to the group referencing her all to familiar Raven familiar.
"Well, until we actually get paid, I'm a little light on funds... And one potion typically goes for close to two months of living expenses."
"So, we need to put this feather on the sellers? Any idea on how we'll do that without getting noticed? Perhaps the horse, but what if the horse is borrowed, etc.?"
”If I had another rest I could pray to my goddess for command but I haven’t prepared it. I fear the most I can do if we don’t enter combat is a small prayer of guidance”
While her Allies where sparing Urselles spent several hours in deep prayer with her goddess to prepare new divine spells
Klara retrieved her spellbook from her bag, it was a plain leather bound journal that looked aged and yellowed from the travel she had already seen. A small rune on the front glowed slightly as she opened it, showing that her Alarm spell was still active. Her fingersflipped through the pages filled with arcane notes and symbols before landing on a page that had a hand drawn picture of a ghostly apparition on it. "I have a ritual I could perform before we leave that would give us the aid of an Unseen Servant it could place the token; but I would need to be close."
Aeryn looks at the book, scratches his head. "this is when we need someone who can go invisible. Anyway, the Unseen Servant idea sounds good but, can't your raven place it too?"
"Relish has many strengths, manual dexterity is not one of them. However we could use her as the distraction, a feather might not seem so out of place then."
"The unseen servant places it, Relish can fly by to perhaps explain its appearance and offer a distraction - lest someone see a floating feather. I've seen something similar to the unseen servant you describe, but merely a hand - would that be a feasible option?"
Looking down at his tools, Whisper continues, "I'm surprised you lot haven't asked me to sneak it in yet, maybe get the hand or servant to only place it."
"It better not be like last time," Whisper says sternly as he absently rubs a scar high on the back of his head.
"Besides, I might be able to get in, but it'd be near impossible for me to place the feather on a person unseen." Then, pointing at Urselles, praying off to the side, "And you and your trickster goddess better bless me this time."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hey, I tried warning you about the cultist behind you but you see now what happens when you're not quick to react". Aeryn looks around trying to see if anyone is paying suspicious attention at the party's planning. (Perception 17
Several moments has passed as you discuss your plan, several group of townfolks has entered the inn to buy some lunch. Aeryn tries to be wary, but everyone including the innkeeper seems to be minding their own business.
OOC: As Phlan is a big city, i assume its not weird for unusual-looking adventurers having meeting here and there. Common townfolks don't seem to be want to be involved though. You seem to be the only adventuring band in the Inn.
As Urselles is communing to line up her divine power, the rest of you (or some of you?) decide to visit an early look to the barn.
After several minutes walk, you finally see the barn. Like most of Phlan's farms, it's located quite far from the city center, and, due to being long abandoned area, there's almost no infrastructure nearby like good road or even torch posts. The barn itself is very old, but most of its wooden wall still stands, concealing whatever left inside.
OOC: You're still looking from quite far away, from the closest city area near the farmland that the barn is located. You definitely can't see anything going on in the barn or its surrounding at that range, even in broad daylight. Anything you want to do before returning to inn?
"There's no light sources nearby, that's going to be a problem. If things go south and shit hits the ceiling we'll fight on the dark, and that ain't good even with the moon's light, there could be some kind of ambush waiting in the shadows".
"Let's take a closer look, maybe we can set up our own surprise, perhaps a place to hide, or tear a hole somewhere in the barn so that we, and by that I assume I, can get in with a little more concealment... but let's approach cautiously, in case someone is already there."
Aeryn takes out the paper and hands it to Whisper "see for yourself, pass it around that way everyone can have a clear layout and idea of what we are dealing with now"

OOC: (Re: Spar battle) there's more than 8 hours til midnight so you'll restore any resource you spend in spar battle.
Btw its not actually a map, just a direction to the mentioned barn. Its a pretty basic barn, square with big doors and the like.

"Sounds like we have a plan, that's a good idea. Should we try to buy stuff like health potions?"
