Hearing Gallant confirm that he is responsible, Crannoc hesitates at first, then follows quickly, calling on Silvanus'Guidance.
"Are these foes? Should we simply slay them opportunistically a few at a time and slip back into hiding? They are almost certainly not of Nighthill and Escobert's pack in Greenest or else those two pack leaders would have told us. They seem to be taking riches stolen from Greenest for themselves."
He keeps his voice pitched just high enough for the others to hear as he approaches. Assuming his companions do not favor simply killing the bulky, sleeping humanoid, Crannoc uses his rope to tie them up securely for questioning and disarms them. (Otherwise, he executes them without qualms).
Upon hearing Gallant's words, Hildr stops and turns. Soon enough, she also sees Crannoc approach.
This skald's magic is potent, she thinks. He can seemingly cast spells from anywhere. Does he have one those—what are they called—scrying devices? I'll observe him more carefully, watch what he does.
“Okay should we continue our plan or should we interrogate this one for answers and maybe the hide out? I believe the latter will allow us to make a plan and come with our full force the former may help us get the loot faster.”
Gawain joins the others, warily keeping his eyes on the entrance to the keep. "Definitely foes I think Crannoc. They seemed to suggest there's more inside, whatever we do needs to be quick. I'd like to continue following the other group...But I don't want those still inside the tower to come up behind us."
He adds a gag to the man Crannochas tied up, dragging them to a side of the tower away from the entrance if they plan to go in.
"I say we take care of those inside and then continue our pursuit."
As you all stand around outside the tower, you hear a voice yell from further within. "Dagon, the hells is going on get your ass back in here we're ready to take the next load!"
Gallant will use minor illusions to mimic the voice he heard, “Can you get me some water, the fire is in my way.” hoping to get the creature to come out defenseless.
Hildr scurries up the hill again and, panting, conceals herself to one side of the tower entrance, longsword in hand. As the party already has a captive to interrogate, she swings at the first sight of another looter emerging from the tower entrance.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After a few minutes, you hear someone stomping up towards the door. "For crying out loud Dagon, it's not even that bad." A tall human man steps through the doorway wearing leather armor, a curved sword and dagger at his hip.
((Roll Initiative, they will be surprised for the first round))
Flanking on either side of the door, the looter doesn't immediately see Gawainor Hildr(advantage on attack rolls), and is too stunned to do anything this round.

Gallant will nod for the plan to restrain the creature.

She is genuinely curious.

"Sorry," Iris mumbles, embarrassed to have thrown a wrench in their plans so soon. "I agree, we should check inside the tower first."
