"Then this one you speak of knew who the Priestess saw last then, no one else has asked of Myra's appointments besides the two of you...If they already know of who Myra saw, why are you asking for the records? Does something not match up?"
Expert Detective Hatt, who has perhaps read a few crime-based novels in his life and that's about it, replies to the father. We are...um... checking. And, of course, double-checking, where we can. A light suddenly comes on in his head, and he realises the source of the confusion. This is a very strange concept for many of us, of course, but, well, there are some people who tell lies. Often. And they don't even feel bad about it. Hatt says this more or less sincerely, as he's never really understood how one could tell a lie without being tormented by it.
So, he continues. Possibly one of these people has told us a lie. Perhaps your records will confirm that. This would be most helpful to us, no?
OOC: Okay...I'm over the Pneumonia I got from someone on that plane ride...I guess, for the sake of simplicity, I'll say Gasp is hanging around with Bennett and Crispy since things seem to be happening with Hatt and Ashley.
(Glad you're okay, Crispy and Bennett just been standing in the cathedral for a while. I've been asking if they want to do something else, so far no answer.)
"But I already told you, besides Myra's personal journal, this is what we record. In the later evening, she had met with Miss Sarah, an attendant, then Sir Conner, a guard, and finally Lord Niyra, noble and dockmaster."
"Then around midnight, she had come to see me and told me she wanted to go on her pilgrimage."
The cathedral is dedicated to Illmater,. The nuns and monks there busy themselves with cleaning, preaching, and teaching the young. The members of church all wear an iron chain necklace, but some members necklaces are silver or gold. The other shiny things would be the decorations around the cathedral, ornate vases, gilded cups and other offerings. Some adventurers there openly wear some jewelry but besides that most of the visitors have no jewelry visible on them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Myra's personal journal? I suppose she may keep one. May I ask why you mention it? asks Hatt, frowning. We should also speak with Miss Sarah, of course. She is here, yes? Hatt is now extremely suspicious of this monk, and wonders what is going on in his mind: Insight: 24
From what Gasp can remember, Illmater is known as the Broken or Crying God. And most of the clergy looks like they don't mind citizens or adventurers talking to them. The only ones that don't are the ones busy with children, apologizing to other as they give most of their attention to the little ones.

"Not just her, all the priests and priestesses carry one. It's to keep track of all their meetings, mostly in case one would forget what was said during their last meeting." He states it as if it's obvious information. "And Miss Sarah is an attendant of the first princess, so I'd assume she's with her right now."

We were asked to question them. I talked with Sir Conner. He seemed a simple man. Ashley says simply.

Ashley looks to Hatt as he has more pieces to the puzzle than her.

Gasp takes a look around, seeing to whom the temple is dedicated. What are the clergy up to? Is there anything particularly shiny around?

Does Gasp know anything about Illmater?
Religion: 4
Edit: Probably not lol.
If that's the case, Gasp will see if there is a member of the clergy that looks particularly approachable.

((I apologize! I was waiting on Crispys move))
Bennett will just casually look around. Listen to some stories maybe attempt to eavesdrop just to see what he can learn.
