Despite attempting to free himself, Brix can feel the strange substance encasing his lower body until he cannot feel his legs anymore. His hands are still free, but he can feel the substance slowly creeping up his body, faster than before. If he cannot free himself soon, there is no telling what will happen to him.
As soon as Myrla steps off of the plate, the statue behind her freezes in place once again and the light surrounding the statue darkens. She moves toward Brix and begins dragging him to one of the closest statues of a dancing angel. As she does, she notices that the death angel statue in the centre of the room is moving rather mechanically again instead of the fluid movement when it struck the ground with its scythe previously. It seems that while the pressure plate will protect people from the strange power that the statue has, it also gives the statue more power and life, making it more dangerous for people who get caught in the petrifying blast if more people are standing on the pressure plates.
{{Myrla, make a Strength check. The DC is 10. On a success, you can get Brix on a pressure plate. On a fail, you both are only halfway there. Wadi, it's your go, followed by Inge and Hunteros.}}

"Great! It looks to me that the statue gains power for each of us standing on these plates. We'll have to be quick to occupy them and hope that that really does the trick. Perhaps, we can use some stuff from the cart to place on a couple of plates?" she comments as she tries to move Brix.

Shaking herself free of the petrifying restraints which seem to be claiming several of her companions, Inge yells in alarm and dashes.
Trying to follow Myrla's lead, she attempts to occupy as many of the "correct" pressure plates as she can. Certainly one herself, but to the extent she has time to grab heavy items from the cart she had been pulling along, such as barrels of water, and place them on other pressure plates, she does so as well, using up her Action and Movement to occupy as many of the "correct" pressure plates with heavy objects (including herself) as she can.
{{Wadi is restrained. You can try to do an action, but you cannot move. I suppose with positioning, and taking Inge's really high roll as her having time to drag you a little bit closer to the pressure plate before going off on her own, I can allow you to make yourself fall on top of the pressure plate. Take 1 bludgeoning damage if you choose to do so. It is going to be a painful fall because you cannot really soften yourself as you are restrained. If you don't have anything to do, make your Con save to end your turn.}}
With a little bit of help from a still persistent Brix, Myrla manages to drag Brix to the pressure plate in front of the only statue with the pose at the northwest wall. As soon as he steps on the plate, the statue glows and the substance encasing his lower extremities comes off, dropping to the ground and melting into the floor. Brix lets out a sigh of relief but stops as soon as he sees the death angel once again regaining its fluid movement.
Inge moves to the furthest pressure plate, dragging the cart behind her. Along the way, she attempts to put a heavy barrel of water on one pressure plate, but it seems that the statue behind the barrel doesn't light up. As soon as she steps on one, the statue behind the pressure plate glows and the death angel becomes lifelike enough to flare her wings and spin her scythe. It appears that the pressure plate requires something or someone living to stand on it.
{{A reminder for the statues with the same poses as the ones in the entrance corridor: 1 statue northwest (filled by Brix), 2 statues northeast (1 filled by Milo, 1 empty because Myrla left), 3 statues southwest (1 filled by Inge, 2 still empty), 1 statue southeast (still empty).}}
{{Wadi, we're still waiting for your turn, but, Hunteros, you can take your turn as we wait for Wadi.}}
As soon as Wadi touches the pressure plate, the numb feeling in his legs disappears and he can move again.
Four pressure plates have been occupied, and the death angel stops spinning its scythe. All is quiet in the room before it is broken by the sound of grinding stones as the death angel steps off of its pedestal and glides in between Myrla and Hunteros, the only two who have not stepped on the pressure plate.

With four pressure plates occupied, there is a certain liveliness in the death angel's statue. For the first time, emotion is etched on the statue's face, one of regret and clear determination instead of the blank coldness before. The statue steps off of its pedestal and flares its wings, gliding in between Myrla and Hunteros. With a flourish, the statue swings its scythe toward the two people who are still not on the pressure plates.

{{Milo, it is now your turn. Hunteros, I've put you at the end of initiative again, so go after Milo}}
Myrla observed the statue closely as soon as it came near her and Hunteros, ready to defend, ready to strike. When it struck at Hunteros and her in one fluid motion, she was prepared and drove her shield into the statues body (improvised weapon attack because of Sentinel feat.)
Reaction: to hit 11 for 1 damage. (No proficiency in improvised weapons and used unarmed strike damage)

Milo will step off his platform to make the statue slightly less fluid and powerful, and ready an action so if the statue starts to move (no matter what sort of movement) he will jump back onto the platform
Myrla tries to fend off the statue's attack with her shield, but the shield only strikes the statue with a dull thud, seemingly doing no damage whatsoever. Unfortunately, the angel's strike is enough to throw Hunteros out of balance, stunning him for just a moment, but enough time for his entire body to be engulfed by the substance that has been creeping around him. In the place where Hunteros once stood is now a statue of him made of the same material as the one the death angel and the other angel statues are made of.
Seeing his friends in trouble, Milo trusts his instinct and steps off of his pressure plate. Immediately, the movement of the death angel stutters, but there is still a certain liveliness to it. The angel disappears and reappears in the centre of the room not long after and starts the movement to slam its scythe to the floor just like it did a few moments ago. Milo quickly jumps back on the pressure plate and the angel's movement stutters again for but a moment before it steps off of its pedestal and glides back toward Myrla.
Milo begins to see a pattern. When no one is on the pressure plate, the death angel is nothing more than a statue, attacking only when someone moves away from it. When at least two are on the pressure plates, the death angel unleashes a magical energy that seems to petrify someone if they are not strong enough in their body and willpower to resist it. When at least four are on the pressure plates, the death angel becomes alive with full autonomy. Still, regardless of the number of people on the pressure plates, it appears that the angel can disappear and reappear almost at will.
{{As Hunteros still hasn't posted, I've taken the liberty to roll his Con save. He failed, so he is now petrified.}}
{{We are back at the top of a new round. At initiative 20, the death angel will move back to the centre of the room and launch another wave of petrifying energy, but Milo's ready action prevents that. Still, the angel is now on Myrla again. So, we're going to Myrla and Wadi's turn. Myrla, note that if you move away from the death angel without a disengage, it will make an opportunity attack of 14 to hit with 7 bludgeoning damage as rolled in the previous post.}}
„Ok, let’s follow Milo and Wadi‘s lead. Once we’re all off the platforms, someone strong should bring Hunteros on one of the platforms. It cured Brix. Inge? You’re strong. Can you do it? After we‘re all ready, we‘ll move in unison on the plates. I’ll try to distract it.“ Myrla tries to keep the statue‘s attention meanwhile and dodges.

(I know it is a while until my turn, but just in the interest of speed, Milo is happy with the plan so will do the same as last time, step off the plate, ready an action to jump back on if either the angel moves, or if everyone else is getting on one)
Inge's confusion deepens and her long, dark braid whips from side to side as she looks back and forth between Myrla, Milo and Wadi in an attempt to listen to those she is fairly sure are smarter than her. Stepping off her platform, she trots over to the petrifiedHunteros. (Free action?)
Picking up the statue, she moves over to a platform and readies her action to place the petrifiedHunteros on a platform as soon as all of her other companions are off their platforms. She looks to the others to check if she is doing it right, avoiding the angel if she can.
Movement and Free Action: Move to statue-Hunteros, pick him up, move back to an empty platform(s), trying to stay out of the angel's range.
Action and subsequent Reaction: Ready an action to place statue-Hunteros on a platform to try to un-petrify him as soon as everyone else is off their platforms. After that, she wants to find a platform to get on herself upon Myrla or any other companion's signal (might have to wait until next turn?).
With a plan in mind, Wadi, Brix, Inge, and Milo step off of their pressure plate again just in time to see the scythe heading toward Myrla and Hunteros' petrified body stop at mid-swing. Slowly so as to not agitate the statue further, Inge drags Hunteros toward one of the nearest pressure plates. Similar to what happened to Brix, the stone layer surrounding Hunteros slowly comes off as soon as he stands on the pressure plate.
With one pressure plate once again engaged, the statue begins to move stutteringly to attack again, but Inge and the others quickly step on their own pressure plate. The death angel gains its liveliness and continues its swing. The scythe strikes the floor, strong enough to make a small hole in the floor and cause dust and small debris to burst around it.
The death angel circles the room slowly as if looking for something. At one time, it stops in front of Inge and just stares at her for quite some time. Unnerving, but it continues its stride around the room. After the third lap, the death angel turns to the centre and steps on its pedestal again before freezing in place. Its form returns back to solid unmoving stone. A grinding and a click can be heard from the two doors on the south side of the room.
"That was well executed, everyone! Nice! Let's see what else this monument has in store for us. Anyone needs a break, or food?" she asks with a smile towards Inge. As the thought of food occurs to her, she remembers that there was a chamber with food near the entrance and she checks if the door to return there has opened again. Then, she continues, presumingly with everyone else, to peek through the two Southern doors.

As Myrla turns to smile at Inge, the tall clanswoman looks up only slightly guiltily, mid-chew, from where she has pushed the cart to the south of the room and torn open a ration, washing it down with a healthy swig of water with her glaive held in her off hand. Her drawl is laconic.
