Eima takes a gander at the tunnel after the rubble is cleared. "Now why would the eye be leading us this way?" She thinks about the city and its history, "Catacombs for an undying. Ironic. But who would've tunneled here?"
History: 15+3 = 18 //wondering if there's any rumors of a cult that was in the area with the caverns
She sighs at the pitch black, "I can go first if ye want. I got good eyes on me. Little tough in pitch black, but if one of ye hold a torch it could help." She swaps out from her crossbow and takes out two daggers.
Cult rumors have always been around in Neverwinter, and places like the catacombs are prime locations for feeding those rumors. But this incident appears to be very new, and no rumors yet about what may be happening down there.
Tez follows whoever enters the catacombs first, trying to stay out of Sky’s light. He dons his shield in anticipation of trouble and relays what he found when he checked the entrance for recent activity. (Perception: 11)

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
The soft lapping of water echoes through this wide chamber. Wood and stone debris from collapsed buildings litter the area. Brackish water floods nearly half of the chamber, getting deeper toward a dark tunnel to the west.
"Thanks for the light, Sky." says Eima, eyeing the druid's flame with delight.
When they reach the brackish waters she eyes over the surface in case anything lurks below it. She also turns to Tymmy, wondering just how deep it can get, "Think ye can test the water with ye quarterstaff? Get a gander o' its depth."
“I don’t know about that water. That doesn’t look safe. Should we continue southwards?” Asks Tez and tries to see how far the tunnel extends south.

The water gets only to about 3 feet deep, however, there is lots of debris around if you wanted to try and fashion a makeshift skiff perhaps, if you don't want to wade through the water. But the right side of the room ends after just a few more feet. (the map just got cut off weird)
With three feet of water Eima says, "I don't intend to be washing my hair in that dirty water. Skiff it is." She starts trying to get a hold of some of the debris to start work on a makeshift one.

Looking at her handiwork, even pitiful by her standards she gives a sheepish grin, "Uh, think any of ye can help me out? Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be my wheelhouse."
Sky shakes his head. "Let me give it a try. I've been making these things since I was a small pup."
You see him take the various floating debris and after what felt like but a few seconds, he has a a fully functioning skiff and paddles with room for all.
“No kidding,” comments Tez with a shake of his head Sky’s masterpiece. “I’ve just checked that room and a moment later you’re presenting us with this!”

Eima gives Tymmy the side eye for his "tiny one" comment. She looks on in awe as Sky builds the skiff, "Nicely done." she says with a look of approval. She looks to the half-elf, "Ye had ye trepidations about the water, Tezzy. But with Sky's handiwork I think ye can trust the skiff to handle some of those."
Eima hops on and waits for whoever will join her. Once ready she'll point to Tymmy, "Hyah!" she exclaims with grin and mimicking the whip crack of a carriage driver.
The debris moves easily revealing a narrow tunnel that leads down underground. It seems the eye is directing you down this way.

Eventually a decent skiff is fashioned with some of the wrecked materials around, enabling 2 medium creatures to float comfortably across the water.

"Show off."
As he looks at the craft and looks again at his companions, even he recognizes that the math doesn't add up.
"We won't all fit on that thing though. How about you all get on and I can pull you all along?"
