 Reactions reset on the beginning of your turn.

Round last: guard hits big, reaction used to lessen it.  Navrine's turn occurs.

Round next: guard grazes, Navrine's turn is coming up.

I think I know Doc had a healing potion. Are you thinking I should run to Doc and try and force a healing potion down his throat? The Cat walk might be a problem and Mr. Fancy push pants and his crossbow, one hit nav is gone, especially with the damage they do, maybe even prema-death.

Weapon mastery is nasty. In my (limited) reading through the 2024 monster manual I haven't found enemies with it. But that's not to say I wouldn't add it myself for a challenge on enemies that I feel deserve it. Chromir can continue taking some hits from crossbow dude 

^^ Yeah, I added the weapon masteries to these fellas because this is the BBEG encounter of our test drive.

Cassian would've used Protection for Chromir to cancel out the guards' advantage.

Sweet, G1 or G2?  They each targeted Chromir once.

 It says "You impose Disadvantage on the triggering attack roll and all other attack rolls against the target until the start of your next turn if you remain within 5 feet of the target." So whoever attacked him first.

Using only the first die tossed (since no advantage applied anymore), G1 missed & G2 still hit.  I'll adjust the hp.

No, he was calling out to the other guard upon the catwalk.  It signifies that a change in tactics that is inbound.

 Pretty sure it was one attack in 2014 rules. It's one of the many minor changes within 2024
