Yes, if conscious, Doc will be able to use his move. Right now, he is unconscious and making death saves.
But he would be starting his turn in a trapped area ... so he'd likely have to 1)get healed, then later, 2)start his turn in the trapped area, 3)survive that, then 4)move
Looks like none of us can get over there and both heal/move him alone, so at least two will have to go. Cass can dash with his action and lay on hands with his bonus action.
Rage is worded as "If your Rage is still active on your next turn, you can extend the Rage for another round by doing one of the following:
Make an attack roll against an enemy.
Force an enemy to make a saving throw.
Take a Bonus Action to extend your Rage.
Each time the Rage is extended, it lasts until the end of your next turn. You can maintain a Rage for up to 10 minutes."
I took the "you can" to mean that doing the attack roll doesn't have to extend the rage and I can choose to end it. If that is not the case, the rage will continue. But if I can choose to not extend it then on my next turn I can cast cure wounds on Doc
So with Step of the wind Nav moves up to 80 feet as a bonus action and her action would be to help get Doc to safety either Pulling him free once Cas Stabalises him or jamming her quatrterstaff into the gears to prevent further ingury as doc is removed. There actions seem very non standard and i'm not sure what kind of roll to make?
Pulling him free is (depending on if being jammed makes it harder) an action but no roll. It's effectively a grapple action, but while unconscious he can't pass the save so you automatically grapple, and therefore you can move him. But being jammed in there might mean there is an extra roll required.
He's currently (as of his next turn) stable as he passed 3 saves. The options were dead, stable or (need to check this is still true for 2024) conscious with 1hp on a nat 20. (edit. Seems to still apply. It isn't explicit that you become conscious, but you do regain 1hp and if you become stable you stay at 0hp until 1d4 hours or healed so I belive gaining health is gaining consciousness)
I took the "you can" to mean that ... I can choose to end [Chromir's Rage].
I agree. It says you 'can' do a thing, but it does not say that you 'must.' Voluntarily dropping the rage (even during a round where a rage-extending-qualifying event occurred) is fine by me.

No action. At this point in the round, Doc is an object. No need to grapple or shove or whatever. Just need to physically move him from his current square. It would be similar if — instead of an unconscious character — you wanted to move a heavy treasure chest or something. You wouldn't first have to grapple it, you would just need to drag it with you.
Doc is pretty darn close to dying.
@Secretfool, the next Death Save for Doc will determine life of death for our dwarven cleric!
If he passes ... he will stabilize (which resets the Death Save counter until he takes damage again)
If he fails ... then Doc will have achieved 3 Death Save failures and will be no more.
Will it take an athletics check to get Doc out of the gears?
Just a utilize action to move an object.
If he's healed first, will he be able to move out of it himself?

Aww ... don't sell the barbarian or monk short. :)
Those classes lean pretty heavily into battlefield mobility.
When Guard 2 leave nav's combat radius shouldn't she get oppertunity attack?

G2’s action was to
withdraw.Apologies. I called it the wrong thing (too many editions stuck in my head).
The action is called disengage.

Once doc is free we can stalk the two that escaped and kill them.

Apologies for the radio silence, gang.
Got hit with a nasty flu this last week.
Will be able to get back into this in a couple days.
No problem! Hope you feel better soon!
These last two weeks were not very fun at all.
In any event, I'm no longer sick as a dog and feel good enough to get back into this.
Thank you very much for your patience, gang.

I guess we need to get doc farther from the dangerous gears before resuming the chase?
