Wysp's New Groove

Alexia accepts a berry, never one to turn down free food. "It should be full enough to leave us alone. Besides, it's about as fast as a rock."

Kwesnef walks into the lowest tier and makes dramtic jumping motions. Then looks at the party, "A little help here?"

Ember grabs a length of rope and flies up to the top tier level.   Setting the immovable rod 'in place', he tied off the rope and tossed it down to those below.

(( OOC: can not think of which skill or roll to make for the action... ))

"We were coming back up, right?"

"Hey Nine, perhaps you could give our new friend here some help?" Grey says, thinking Nine could, help the halfling, and maybe all of us? climb up the levels.

Ember yells down, "If you don't want to climb the rope... Nine can come up here and drag each of you up by the rope... if he is okay with that."

Alexia flies up to try and help Ember set up the rope, then tries to recall if there are any areas of these maze-like caves the party hasn't explored yet.

The Wiz is roused from his sleep at the sweet scent of a spell being cast. "Hmmmm what's for breakfast?" he asks as he plucks a berry and tosses it down his gullet. "A meal made for a king. Thanks dude."

He then does some limbering exercises and with a flexing of tight cords of trained muscle (for a wizard), it up the rope in a wizard's flash.

The Wiz also spends a bit of time before the party gets moving, trying to identify the stick. 

OOC: I don't have Identify learned, but I do think on magic stuff really well. Arcana Check (if needed) of 19, plus one hour of pondering since I am not changing my spells.

Number 9 effortlessly tosses the short man through the air to land on the middle tier. You hear a loud "OOF!" upon his landing and a series of muffled words, probably cussing.

"Well, that is one way to fly without being able to fly..."

Number 9 has no trouble boosting the rest of the party up each step.

"Everyone okay?" Ember asked as he collected the rope and put away the immovable rod.   

"Any idea of where we need to go next to find the stuff that old wizard needed?"

Alexia shrugs. "I barely paid attention to his note. I think we need a sword or something still?"

So we came in through the hole in the wall, elevated water on the boats. We have now destroyed this 'habitat' and found our halfling 'friend' from a room (on the bottom tier?).

Is our only obvious way out right now back on the floating boats?

Guess we should search this ex-habitat for any other way out.

OOC: The stick! I know it will be important! Does thinking about magical items really hard identify them in this game? The Wiz is sure to want to whack someone with the stick in the near future. 

The river floats through the air and the kayaks are floating upon it.

The stick looks like any other hitting stick. It is a bit warm so it might hurt if you hit somebody. But it also appears to be one of those things which needs spiritual anchoring.
