@dndpro, with describing part of Gattara's personality as anti-social, how would you define that? I've got a definition/usage that springs to mind, but it might not be the same as your usage. Hence why I want to check to make sure there's a shared understanding. Big thing for me is making sure I understand how it would be expressed in terms of interactions with party members and NPCs.
@Tybard, the reflavoring of the luckstone/dark shard as her harmonica looks good.
@Okin, being from Laephny sounds decent. As a query, on the mechanics-side, what are you hoping for Elora? (Looking at the weapons/stats-assignment so just want to see on that.)
@Rylentlar, I'll admit I haven't given much thought to an underdark. But seems reasonable that there'd be some larger areas underground, even if not the same scale as the Faerunian Underdark.
If there's any questions or whatnot you have or that I may have missed, let me know.
I will likely leave recruitment open until ~Tuesday/Wednesday.

Name: Fenric Dralta Race: Wood Elf Class (Subclass): Ranger (Hunter) Background: Folk Hero Free Feat: Magic Initiate (Druid) (I had to homebrew this feat to add it to my character) Uncommon Magic Item: Bracers of Archery Common Magic Item: Potion of Climbing Additional Purchased Gear: If possible, a Longbow +1 for as much gold as it takes. Otherwise, ten nets. Character Sheet: https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/151799485/OmW81K 2-5 Sentence Backstory (simple is ok):
Fenric was born and raised in a druid grove. As such, it was expected that one day the powers of nature would be imbued within him, and he would become a druid too. But that day never came. For years, he lived in the grove, developing his relationship with nature and listening to all it had to offer. Eventually, he came of the age at which any non-druid was to be removed from the grove. However, the leader at the time saw the work he put in and how knowledgeable he was about nature, and decided to let him stay. He adopted the role of protector of the grove, fending off goblins and the like. A few years later, the leader of the grove died, and the new druid in charge was critical of Fenric's extended residency at the grove. He was forced to leave, and so he moved to Junut to try and find work where he could.
(For whatever reason, the dice rolls I made aren't showing up anymore. It shouldn't matter too much though as I am using point buy anyways.)
Name: Fizzt Mrrmrr Race: Tabaxi Class (Subclass): Rogue (Scout) Background: Sailor Free Feat: Observant Uncommon Magic Item: Gloves of Thievery Common Magic Item: Clockwork Amulet Additional Purchased Gear: TBC Character Sheet: Fizzt Mrrmrr's Character Sheet - D&D Beyond 2-5 Sentence Backstory (simple is ok): Fizzt was born to the sea faring clan of Mmmmr-Mmmmr-Urk-Ack and spent much of his early life shipboard. But alas the clan life forever traveling the sea was not to his liking, so he cast out to adventures on land and immediately falling onto hard times. The youngling turned to a life of pick pocketing and thievery, eventually to be caught. Luckily he was caught by a forrester who recognized his talent and took him on as an apprentice. Fizzt took that opportunity to us what he learn of navigation and applied that to the art of map making. Now he is here to offer his skills as a tracker and scout.
@Okin, being from Laephny sounds decent. As a query, on the mechanics-side, what are you hoping for Elora? (Looking at the weapons/stats-assignment so just want to see on that.)
mechanics-wise, I imagine Elrora to serve as the DPS that also protects the others in combat (Fighting Style: Protection and Sentinel). I would've made her tankier Constitution-wise, but I didn't think it suited her physically
@VitusW - I'll get my character posted today or Monday. I was originally thinking of submitting a Rogue (Scout), but it looked like the thread already had plenty of rogue-ish characters.
Looking at the other submissions, I decided to whip up a high-INT fairy, either an Artificer (Artillerist -- fire cannon from the sky!) or a Wizard (Chornurgy, if allowed; Divination or Evocation, if not). He'll be focused on INT skills, AoE damage, and some control/debuff spells.
Backstory: Not originally interested in combat or warfare, he was forced to put his magic to use in service of one of the warring factions. If fairies are common enough in one of the regions of the world (Silverwood Forest, Kingdom of Llechy Woods, Gelusilva), then he would probably have been drafted by the local army. If not, then we could say that he was captured and pressed into service by one of the two dynasties of the Illuvan Empire. In any case, he didn't like it and eventually left (i.e., escaped) the military, possibly with the help of one of the other PCs or rescued by Tallisma's agents.
Prior to the massacre that set him on his current path, Donyl was a simple Miner. He studiously worked the mines, digging for rich ores and precious stones. During a period of upheaval Donyl’s clan’s territory was taken over and his people were made to kneel before a new king. There was unrest and rioting among the clansmen and eventually the clan Chief led a band of strong Dwarves to fortify the entrance to their mines and declare their territory neutral. The new king took offence and not only destroyed the fortifications and killed the Chief and his band, but they purged the mines, killing everyone within as an example to others.
Donyl was grievously wounded and left for dead. With what he thought was his last breath, Donyl whispered a prayer to Kiaransalee the lady of the dead, the revenancer, the vengeful banshee. That she might punish the new king and his warriors.
Donyl was cast back from death and given the powers of a death cleric, that he might exact that vengeance himself.

Hi, Gattara is nost strictly anti-social, but, like many druids, she feels bettere in the wilderness than in social encounters
@Dannos
@Bjorn_Stahle
Please make the character sheets public. Currently can't view them.
@ropland
Would say no to purchasing the +1 longbow. But the 10 nets is A-OK.
@Ben_Evolent
Would say no to Chronurgy. (It's a Critical Role class, right?) But artillerist/divination/evocation are all good.
For where to be from, would probably lean towards either one of the elven realms.
@Okin
@dndpro
thanks for the responses
