Villonah is the first to react to Doozey's instructions. She nods at him, summons her blade back to her hands, and begins to move toward the crowd of captives just north of CRAP's current location.
Raistsummons Sebastian and changes his vision to that of the bird. Neya guides the bird toward the area where she last saw Aleyd and then tries to have a look for herself. She can't quite get a good angle as swiftly as the bird, so Neya leaves it up to him (the Nat 1).
Both Neya and Doozey dedicate a few seconds to regaining some vitality. (Neya recovers 14 HP; Doozey gains 10 temp HP.)
Raist's giant hand dissipates. Doozey begins to looks around the defeated enemies (@Ori: Investigation check, please.)
Elisande replies to Doozey, in agreement: "I likes da outsides. Me don't wanna be one place for long. Too long in tiny island already. And, me saw the greet wing’d serpante! Wanna-ed to get good looksie." She says all of this with a smile on her face, before then turning to address the severed but surprisingly not-decomposing goat head on her waist as if it had talked to her: "I know, I know... soup!" Elisande then goes for the dropped devil's body, and begins to harvest it as she had done the guard's.
At this point, Raist sees through Sebastian's eyes that the young acolyte from earlier is coming back around the corner. Cassyt is struggling with dragging something heavy back towards this area... a person... Aleyd has fallen. As you all turn to face an arriving Cassyt, she drops her burden. Aleyd lies in the street, clearly dead. She sports a number of wounds in addition to the ones you saw her incur as she drew the vast number of enemies away. (medicine check for those interested in learning more.)
Cassyt is crying: "I am sorry... I couldn't stop them. She fell protecting me. She made sure they died before she did. The others kept leading more cultists and traitors away..."
Cassyt's words ring in his ears and he stops himself in his tracks. He had been heading to free the captives, but instead beelines towards the young cleric.
He kneels besides Aleyd's body, gently placing a hand on her eyes, closing them one final time.
Looking towards Cassyt, Utar's words come slowly and he speaks in a matter-of-fact tone. His eyes grow wet.
"Your apologies mean nothing, Aleyd knew the risks and likely died on her own terms. Your task now is to make yourself worthy of her death. Go and free the captives. I can carry this load the rest of the way now."
Picking up Aleyd's body, Utar checks his fallen friend one final time, before looking to join the others.
Doozey lets his head drop with a tired and mildly exasperated sounding sigh. For even despite having expected an answer along those very lines from Elisande, it did little to lessen the impact of actually hearing them. When he looks up once more to see her harvesting the devil, for a moment he's taken back to her early days of 'training', and couldn't help but smile fondly at the memory.
Though, soon the memory fades from present focus with either Raist's warning, or the sound of Cassyt's weeping pricking his ears. "Oh fudge monocles..." He murmured at the sight of Aleyd. Yet, despite every compulsion to hurry on over as Utar had done, the halfling closed his eyes and bowed his head in a moment of silence, and with Biscuit mirroring the motion. But afterwards, Doozey got right back to work on the dead, knowing or believing any word of condolences would have to wait. "Biscuit. See to the hostages with Villie. Get them up and going."The mastiff let out a low whine, seeming torn for a moment between trying to help Utar and the order from Doozey, before finally and reluctantly hurrying to catch up with the gnome.
Cassyt is startled by Utar's words, feeling a tinge of fear creep up her spine. She runs in the direction Villonah had moved, leaving Utar to examine his companion.
@Utar: The most severe wounds were dealt to Aley'ds mid-rift. There are so many puncture wounds. Your examination is successful enough to determine that she is missing some chunks of important internal organs, but you are left wondering about the specifics as your watery eyes seem intent to prevent you from getting a very good look.
Biscuit is sent to join Villonah and Cassyt, while Doozey takes a quick inventory of the battle spoils.
@Doozey: You make a quick pile containing five sets of splint armor, two heavy crossbows, five greatswords, three spears, a smattering of mundane adventuring gear (think bedrolls, waterskins, mess kits, etc.), and one unlocked lockbox that had been set aside. Inside the box, you find four potions of superior healing.
Seemingly oblivious to the situation, Elisande continues to work on the devil's body parts. She is covered in a large amount of dirt and blood, and she continues to respond to her dead goat's "questions": “lookin’ a’ tings here and tere.”
In the background, Villonah, Cassyt, and Biscuit and quickly releasing captives. As they do so, many seem to hover around them, seeking answers or offering information. A hubbub is forming.
While much of Doozey's findings get a passing nod of acknowledgement before being added to a pile, his eyes do light up seeing the potions. Without hesitation, he quickly downs one of them, but left the rest in the box to distribute to the other party members later. In the meantime, one last look is given to Elisande, and seeing she'd be occupied for a little bit more, grabbed the spears and one of the split armor sets before making his way over to the Hubbub.
-Drink 1 of 4 potions of superior healing, restoring 31 HP.
And though it went against several protocols of his order, he made no effort to disguise his form or clean himself up. He could've reverted as well but hadn't dared risk it. So, short of another party member stepping up to address the throng, Doozey does so only after sparing a moment searching them for any signs of the Lord Regent among the throng...
In the event no party steps up to speak to the throng and/or he doesn't see the Lord Regent:
After signaling for Biscuit to return to his side, Doozey mutters. "Here goes nothing..." Then, he climbed onto and stood on the mastiff's back. "Alright folks! Listen up, 'cause we don't got a whole lotta time! I know a lotta ya have been through it and then some, and I hear ya'll got a lotta questions! Prolly even one about why some weird racoon man is try'na tell ya anything."
"But, like I said, we don't gotta lotta time fer all that! What's important is that we believe we got a way to get'cha ya'll outta here, but we're gonna need three things from ya, aight?"He paused, if only to let his words sink in briefly, before briskly carrying on. "Firstly, we're gonna need'ja to do everything we say goin' forward 'till we're outta the city. That means no sass. No back talk. And if ain't somethin' constructive, prolly best ya keep it ta yerself! Secondly, if any of ya'll got any experience handling arms and armor, feel free to arm yerself with what ya can from the pile over there."He thumbs the general direction of the pile he made earlier. "I got these spears here as well fer the taking, if that suits yer fancy more. And lastly, and this arguably the most important, work together. 'cause so long as we do that and don't panic, I...W-we'll get through this. All of us!"

If he sees the Lord Regent (as described/confirmed by Captain Aleyd during initial recon):
Doozey breathes a sigh of relief as soon as he spies a man at least matching the description Raist had given Aleyd, who'd in turn confirm was the Lord Regent (or at least most likely him). Then without missing a beat, he beelined it for the man, keeping his pace calm and measure as to avoid startling the man, but obvious enough for the Regent to glean his intentions were to approach him. "Pardon me, sir. Circumstances being what they are, I hope you can forgive me not standing on ceremony. But, time is of the essence. This is for you-" He offers up the spint mail as best he could. "Me and my team believe we've managed to secure a possible route out. But, I believe we'll need you to address the crowd here so things stay orderly. N-names, uhh, Doozey, by the way. A scout and member of the Chaotic Relief Adventuring Party."

Making a point to pass around the found potions later, Doozey claims one for himself. (Doozey recovers 31 HP.)
Neya, Utar, and Raist see Doozey in his werebadger form begin to approach the crowd of captives.
(OOC: Given the branching post above from @Ori, I'm inclined to give the others the chance to step in or explicitly decide not to, before resolving. With that in mind, let me add some details that might help you decide.)
A male human is tied to several scholarly-looking people. He is in his 60s with a meticulously groomed beard and long, grey hair pulled back in a ponytail. Neya had spotted him when scouting the area ahead of the fight. He is clad in black enameled plate armor and matches the description of the Lord Regent, as confirmed by Aleyd.
Villonah is freeing the captives and making her way around the crowd. Although she is working quickly, and even more so now with the help of Cassyt and Biscuit, she is pausing here and there to listen to what some of the captives have to say. What they have to share seems important enough to give her pause, otherwise, you gather Villonah would not pay attention to them.
There is a wagon tucked against the wall inside the gate and to the left. You now deduce that the winged devil was using this wagon his personal abode (Doozey saw his shadow there earlier).
Neya takes a deep breath (Second wind) and looks out over the crowd to try and ascertain the status of Captain Burral's side of things.
