Graxx: the tracks in the dust, which were very obvious to begin with, are now much harder to see as there seems to be less dust the deeper into the crypt you move. Nonetheless, tracking and killing are two skills that you have honed since you were a babe, it seems. The tracks are faint, but you can tell they continue on farther into the under crypt, completely bypassing the throne room.
Neya: looking into the throne room with the aid of your torch and honed senses, you cannot find any pressure plates or triggers on the floor, walls, or ceiling, in general. At this distance, and because of its size, you can also determine that the throne itself is made of several sections, seemingly assembled as opposed to carved or built. Further details are a bit hard to ascertain from this distance and under dim lighting, and not much can be gathered from the curtains themselves. You are pretty sure the room itself is not trapped, but the throne and it’s surroundings may need further investigation.
Asley: these are skeletons covered in more skeletons. Of course they have dust, right?! ...Right?
The whole group moves farther down the pathway and a few members take a chance at exploring the room:
Asley: You poke the curtain, passing by the row of skeletons with an uninterested demeanor. There doesn't seem to be anything behind the northern curtain, and there is no point of note concerning the fabric itself. It is plain, red, and very old.
Utar: The cleric approaches one of the nearest skeletons. Apart from their peculiar choice in armoring gear, there does not seem to be anything special about them. They are clearly not a new addition to this crypt.
Rag: Inspecting the throne, you notice that the structure was clearly put together with the intention of hiding a hinged panel in the bottom of the throne. You realize that this panel would not be noticed by less careful eyes. (Please give me a perception check on top of the investigation one you already rolled).
Rag: As you continue to examine the throne, you catch a glint on the corner of your eye, reflecting the dim light of the torch being carried by Neya. Upon closer inspection, you notice that the hinged panel is not only big enough to house something large, but it is also connected to a poison needle, forming a trap for whoever sits on the throne.
As Drazzim prepares for the worst, the skeletons remain inactive.
"What are the chances that there is a chamber underneath that throne made COMPLETELY out of poison?" Neya says half-jokingly, but hopes is not the case.
Graxx replies to Drazzim, “Agreed. Why give a good weapon to something that’s not gonna kill?”
Graxx points to the tracks they say coming in “Well whoever left those tracks passed through this throne room and kept on movin. Shouldn’t be any magic doors or anything.”
Rag: You carefully remove the hinged panel at the bottom of the panel, purposefully letting the poison needle trap trigger while nullifying any other potential sub-mechanisms. The needle is a good six inches long, aims at the lower back of whoever is sitting at the throne, and its tip oozes some brownish liquid once the metal is fully extended. The mechanism at the bottom of the throne is perhaps as complicated as the one above ground, just compressed. As you begin to pull your tools out, ready to call it a job well done, you notice that the back portion of the throne is also connected to the mechanism. You carefully unhinge it, letting the back panel fall to the ground. A clattering noise is heard as a few items fall behind the throne:
An old two-handed greatsword. The leather scabbard it ragged and rotting, but through it, you can see a faint blue light coming through.
A rolled-up sheet of parchment, with its tying string about to fall apart from age.
A small but well kept cloak, probably made for a gnome or a halfling.
Utar: Analyzing the scroll you received from Brother Keefe, you notice it is written in high quality ink as required for the magical imbuing of spells. Otherwise, the wording is kept simple. It details the incantation and hand gestures needed for casting the spell, as well as the material components (holy water or powdered silver and iron). Components are consumed by the spell, normally, but the scroll clarifies those are not needed if you allow the scroll itself to be consumed for a one-time casting. You have seen other scrolls in the past sporting gold-leaf and general margin art, but this is one of the blandest ones you have come across.
Both Rag and Asley back up a bit, joining the rest of the group to look over the items. As they do, a small tourmaline falls from within the cloak. Due to his experience with similar gems in the past, Rag can estimate that the gem is worth about 50 gp if sold to the right buyer.
The skeletons remain immobile.
Graxx: As you talk to Drazzim about the skeletons' weapons, you look over your shoulder and notice that their weapons seem quite old, chipped and nicked, and it is somewhat surprising that the wood on their bows is still in one piece.
Rag kinda stumbles to a sitting position, obviously a little woozy from the size of the needle and the reality of the possible outcomes of the situation that just occured. This quickly changes when he grabs the gem and starts polishing it and examining it. His eyes fixate on it and the worries seem to have just washed away in an instant. He quickly notices his comrades staring at him and he turns and speaks "For my troubles, I was hoping to keep this little gem?"
“I actually have no problem with that. Perhaps we could take a quick rest here to take care of some of our poison ills and ruminate over the staff, sword, parchment, and cloak to detect any hidden properties that may be of use. I am particularly interested in examining the staff if you do not mind.”

Asley walks forward toward the curtain on the left of the throne and pokes through it with his staff and says "Hello? Anyone hiding in here?"
Utar inspects one of the odd skeletons.

"I'm guessing these are connected to the dragon cult in some way?"
Rag follows closely behind Ashley then starts Inspecting the throne area.

Drazzim gets his glaive at the ready. "Five silver says these bones are gonna attack us at some point." He says to Graxx.
(Right, off on holiday. Hopefully will have time to post and such when I get there.)

UPDATED MAP:
Rag speaks up "Everyone hold! there is a trap here, give me a minute to disarm it."

"Take your time, no one appears to be here but us and these dusty boys here."
While he waits with the group, Utar reads over the scroll of protection that Brother Keefe gave him.
(OOC @MoistBooks: was that flavor or is Utar using the scroll to cast the spell on someone/himself?)
As Rag begins disarming, Asley slips back over to the rest of the group, not wanting to stand too close to the throne just in case.
OOC Purely flavour. I don't want to cast it, just thought Utar might be interested if Kelemvor scrolls are written differently.
