(The split sounds good to me. Yes, I'll hang onto the other healing potion. Also, forgot to mention earlier, I will be recovering my level 1 spell slot with that short rest)
Eiren will dismiss Qu'oth into his pocket dimension, and then (following Xavier) dash through the corrosive mists into the clear air of the other room.
Velmine will leave north with the party, using her skillful quick feet to move faster than the others. She starts in the back, to allow the others to try to get there quicker, but then ends up in front of everyone in her running sprint.
(If you could, it'd be nice if you used Identify on the necklace. If you don't want to waste that time, and I'm telling this to the DM, Velmine will leave the necklace behind, suspicious that it may be cursed.)
"I'll take the armor," Corvin says. "And it looks like there's a second healing potion for whoever needs it." Looking at the chain main, he quickly removes his scale armor and packs it away before donning the heavier chain armor.

Eiren leads the dash through the room with the acidic vapors and heading north. He comes out in a new room with A large jet-black pool that roils like a storm-tossed sea takes up half this cavern, you are a few feet away from one of its edges. In the middle of the room is another Wizard and 2 Thayen Apprentices all with those funny looking short quarterstaffs. They were facing the pool but as you enter they turn to face you.
Velmine you can make another 30 feet of movement (but you can't attack), let me know which square you end in.
Wizard's Initiative 12
Apprentices initiative 14
Unseen Monster initiative 14
Baik and Corvin make a DC 10 Con save if you fail roll a 1d4 acid damage for the Vapors.
Everyone roll initiatives and anyone higher than 7 can act.

(Hah! One of the nice things about the Swashbuckler, sometimes, you get to go first even if you roll a Nat 1.)
Velmine was almost out of breath after taking the long dash towards here, but, with the slow reaction of the wizard and the apprentices, she gets up to act before any of them make a move. She heads in a straight diagonal towards being directly south of the nearest apprentice (A2), standing at N16, and uses her rapier, aware of the damage that's been done to it thanks to the ooze of the earlier room.
Attack:18Damage:26 Piercing (Sneak Attack from Rakish Audacity)
Using her Fancy Footwork she continues downwards until she reaches J20. (I don't know if I get Fancy Footwork even if the attack misses. If I do, then I won't be changing anything, but if the DM decides I don't, and tells me that the attack misses, Velmine will use a cunning action to Disengage before leaving the apprentice's range.)

Yeah, I thought it was kind of funny that between the three enemies the Unknown monster got the highest initiative (it doesn't appear until the second round and has a really bad dex score.

Velmine moves to attack the closest apprentice, but misses (I don't think the miss would have any effect on whether or not you can use FF) and moves behind the enemies
Eiren springs into action and, sword singing, moves to M15 (around the apprentice, west-southwest-northwest). He lashes out with his rapier against the wizard and apprentice.
Attack: 20 Damage: 9 piercing
Attack: 26 Damage: 8 piercing
activating Bladesong as a bonus action. And I forgot that Qu’oth is safely stowed away. Will leave him in his pocket dimension for now.
Eiren moves into position to attack both the Wizard and the closest apprentice. He attacks the Wizard with his rapier doing some damage, then he reverses his stroke and attacks the apprentice. The apprentice casts Shield but it isn't enough to protect him and he is wounded.

Baik Takes 4 acid damage from the acidic vaporsOops, I thought the 9 was your save not your initiative 😀Corvin you can act before the Wizard, but Qu'oth is a little bit slower (You would think an owl would have a higher Dex than 13).
Eiren do you want to wait for Qu'oth?
