Baik can out the worst with a bird landing on him and then taking damage from chunks of two different exploding birds bits.
Velmine is also hit by pieces of a frozen bird.
Everyone looks like they are performing some sort of dance and as you dodge birds and flying chunks of frozen flesh. Xavier wonders if it was worth freezing them like that.
(Xavier doesn’t wonder, he knows it was worth it and glorious letting out a small cackle of glee as he dances around the frozen shards marveling at the destruction he has wrought)
"Is that why the reason it's called the forest of death? Rather unimpressive if you ask me." Velmine makes a sarcastic remark toward the already dead group of birds. Although just after that, she gives Xavier a sharp smile. "I do love to joke, but sometimes I just have to acknowledge the seriousness that was seeing someone taking down seven enemies at once. Two birds with a stone? More like seven birds with a spell..."
"That all hurt? C'mon, you weren't the one with three birds scratching and beaking in your face." Velmine shows her arm which has quite a few wounds from scratches, along with the clear slashes on the clothing that was covering her arm, and then she shows the other one, which is somehow just a bit worse.
Velmine starts looking for the not completely frozen bird, the one who got hit with her dagger, so she could find her weapon and recollect it. While she's walking there, she decides to just respond Baik. "Next? Well, the room is free to walk now, and there are only two exits at the end of it which I can see from here..."
Eiren looks a little grumpier than normal. “Little turds took out Qu’oth. I could feel his pain. Whenever we have an hour I can resummon him, but until then I suggest we move on. We need those glyph keys.”
Baik searches the area paying close attention to the ledges where rough handholds make it easy to climb the walls in this area. A search of the ledges reveals five peryton eggs.
After spending a five minutes Velmine finds her dagger. Baik spends a total of 15 minutes searching the ledges.
Time in the Doomvault: 0 Days 1 Hours 8 Minute
Baik (52/77) - 1/2 rages and 0/2 fourth level spells.
Corvin (66/66) - 2/4 first level spells, 1/3 second level spell, 2/3 third level spells, 3/3 fourth level spells. 2/5 Embodiment of the Law.
Eiren (59/63) - 0/2 Bladesong, 1/4 first level spells, 3/3 second level spells. Arrows 35 remaining (out of 40)
Velmine (31/55*57) - Riposte 0/1. Bag of Tricks 2/3. - Brown Bear (28/34)
Xavier (65/65) - 3/4 first level spells, 0/3 second level spells, 1/3 third level spells. 1/3 fourth level spells. 1/1 fifth level spells. 4/9 Sorcery Points.
(Corvin you had 2 second level spell slots checked, my record only shows you have used 1. Eiren you have only 1 checked first level spell slot while my record says you have used 2. Can you both go through and double check ie search the thread and let me know which is correct.)
Eiren decides to press onwards even though he has lost his faithful Raven. He leads the party through the passageway to the east between the two ledges where the birdstags where.
(I'm assuming this is where you would go as it is the only way forward without trying to go through the White Gate to the north of the room. If you want to do something else, say so and disregard the rest of this post.)
Crossing into the new cavern you see...
Broken and gnawed bones are strewn across the turf in this forested cavern. Against the eastern ledge is a black gate. On the wall southwest of the gate is a contact stone.
Lounging near the Black Gate is a large, bipedal green-skinned giant female is about one and a half times as tall as a human but very thin. It has long and ungainly arms and legs. The legs end in great three-toed feet, the arms in wide, powerful hands with sharpened claws. The hide is rubbery, and its hair is thick and ropy, and seems to writhe with its own energy.
Though you can't really see them clearly through the trees, you catch glimpses of two more about 50 feet from your position. While you can't see them really good you can differently hear them as it sounds like a pitched battle.
So far they haven't noticed you, so you can retreat or make a Surprise round attack.
(I alread6 made it. Got a6.

I’ve done better. Baik says as he makes sure the eggs in his bag are safe. Well, that all hurt. What’s next?
Baik looks around Anxiously, looking for details and the like (or more eggs! Cause we need those.)
