The gate is still open until the end of this round, however I don't think you would be able to reach the gate without dashing through the trees or fire.
Corvin moves out of the gate before it closes, walking over to the troll's body and searching for the key it was carrying, then moves back to (if I can after finding it in the first place) keep the gate open so they others can come through.
Any chance Baik can try to put out the fire in front of him, then move ahead to 14V? If so he will do that. If not tell me.
It's usually up to the player to figure out how to do something and then ask the DM if this would work, but since you asked I took a look at your sheet for you this one time. You have a waterskin, but I don't think 4 pints of water would be enough to effect a five foot square. I looked at your Tomb of Levistus and thought that might be an painful option, but after doing some research decided that it probably won't work. The only spell that might work is Thunder Step, using the concussion to suck all the oxygen out of the area. To do this I would say that you would move to the fire and then use Thunder Step rolling 4d10. 25 or greater you put out the fire, 13-24 the fire shrinks to a five foot square. 5-12 nothing happens, 4 the fire doubles its area.
This will be the last time I will help a player in this fashion, next time you need to think outside the box yourself.

Baik skirts the trees and the fire in the middle of the meadow to circle behind the fire by the gate. Looking for a water supply he doesn't see anything, but as he is speaking Xavier remembers seeing a pool in the eastern part of the cavern.
While the gate is closed Xavier will stay near the portal and keep putting out the closest fires while he waits for his party to come back through the portal.
Go look to the east along the north eastern wall for some water
Still trying to be quiet, Velmine sneaks toward one of the directions she heard the sounds of pain, northwest. (I'll say she keeps heading west until she can see something.) At the same time trying to pick up the sounds to try to understand what exactly what was going on.

(I assume I don't need to roll for stealth again, but in case I need to, a Cunning Action would help here.)

Using his spell again Xavier puts out the fire closest to the gate.
Corvin moves back to the gate with his new key and reopens it, then stays inside the gate until everyone has crossed to one side or the other.
Eiren stands fast and readies a spell attack chill touch if any hostile appears from this area before everyone is through the door.
